Get Ready for One of the Biggest Days of the Sydney Everest Carnival – Live from Rosehill

Lindermann “霖德曼”

This Saturday, the spotlight turns to Rosehill Gardens for a massive day of feature race action as the Sydney Everest Carnival hits full stride. Headlining the card is the prestigious $2 million Group 2 Hill Stakes over 1900m under weight-for-age conditions which is building to be an unmissable contest.

All eyes will be on Lindermann, the ultra-consistent performer from the powerful Chris Waller stable. Ridden by top jockey Nash Rawiller, Lindermann brings red-hot form into the race, having recently beaten Melbourne Cup favourite Sir Delius and going down narrowly to superstar mare Fangirl last start. He’ll face strong opposition from stablemate Kovalica, with Tommy Berry in the saddle and stepping up to his preferred distance, and the intriguing international raider Elamaz, trained by Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott, whose German and French form adds a touch of international flair to the field.

This is a blockbuster card packed with feature races, including:

  • The $1.5 million Alan Brown Stakes Open Quality Handicap
  • The Group 2 Roman Consul Stakes, featuring Golden Slipper winner Marhoona
  • The Group 3 Gloaming Stakes for emerging 3-year-olds
  • The Group 3 Nivison, spotlighting top-class mares
