Race 3 – 3 FLOWING RICHES

He had little luck last start after jumping from a wide draw and being forced to race wide throughout. After covering extra ground for much of the journey, he was entitled to weaken in the straight and eventually finished eighth, beaten 6.5 lengths over 1200m on the All-Weather track.

The switch back to turf, where his only career victory was recorded, looks a positive and he should be right in the mix with a kinder run in transit.

Race 6 – 3 HAROLD WIN

After being pressured early to race outside the leader last start, he stuck on reasonably well in the straight to finish 10th over this track and distance. However, the run was better than it appears on paper, as he was beaten only 3.25 lengths after contesting strong early sectionals well inside the standard.

With the drop back to Class 4 this week, he is expected to be more competitive given his solid record at this level.

Race 1 – 14 PERFECTO MOMENTS

In a strongly run race last start, he was caught wide from the 700m before sticking on gamely to finish fourth over 1650m at Happy Valley. With a kinder run in transit, a Top 3 finish was within reach as he was beaten by only two lengths. Well weighted in this week’s field, he deserves another chance.

Race 5 – 1 LUCKY TWIN STARS

Despite being held up over the final 50m, he still recorded the third-fastest final 400m to finish seventh over 1650m at Happy Valley last time out. The return to Class 4, where he boasts a 50% strike rate, looks a significant positive and he could prove a value chance against easier opposition.
