Speedster (FR) Promising fourth in a Condition over 1600m at Deauville on 8 April. That was a decent comeback run and he now drops in class. Dorianello (FR) A 4-length winner of a Claimer over 1500m at Tarbes on 17 April. That was impressive and it is significant he has been supplemented into this race. Rougegarde (FR) A moderate ninth in a Condition over 1600m at Deauville on 8 April. Has won three of his six runs at his level so must be considered. Far Beyond (IRE) A mediocre sixth in a Claimer over 1400m at Chantilly on 3 March. Fitted with blinkers this time and is back on the turf.
RACE 2: SICARELLE MAIDEN STAKES (3YO) (FROM SAINT-CLOUD RACE 3) – 2400M | TIME: 21:04 | PRIZE MONEY: EUR 24700
Spirit Of Zarak (FR) Beaten just 0.5 lengths in a Maiden over this course on distance on 24 March. With natural improvement she has to have strong winning claims. Tickea (IRE) A three-length third in a Maiden over this track and trip on 24 March. Ran behind SPIRIT OF ZARAK (8) in that race but did not have the clearest of passages. Will improve further. Aurora Beau Real (IRE) A positive third in a Maiden over 2000m at this course on 3 April. She has run well in both her starts and should appreciate the extra 300m. Lightass Fal (FR) Debut run was good when stormed home to finish fourth over 2000m. Strips fitter and looks ready.
RACE 3: DE PROVENCE STAKES (4YO+) (FROM SAINT-CLOUD RACE 4) – 2400M | TIME: 21:36 | PRIZE MONEY: EUR 21000
Ponderado (IRE) Ran seventeen in a Handicap over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 4 October. That was a potent field and with a perfect podium record at this course, should be massive runner. Spanish Prince (FR) A 2-length winner of a Condition over this course and distance on 29 March. Had some of these runners behind him and should confirm the form despite a weight penalty. Sharp Rise Won a Condition over 2400m at Langon-Libourne on 6 April. That was his third successive win and although facing stronger, needs to be considered. Everillo (FR) A moderate seventh in a Condition over 2000 at this course on 10 April. He is better than his comeback run based on some of his other performances last year.
RACE 4: MY LOVE STAKES (4YO+) (FROM SAINT-CLOUD RACE 5) – 2000M | TIME: 22:11 | PRIZE MONEY: EUR 17400
Miss Tarken (FR) Finished third over 2000m on this course in a Class 3 Handicap on 3 April. Cristian Demuro retains the ride, and she may be the one to side with. Get Set (IRE) Finished second in first outing this year over 2200m at Machecoul in a Class 4 Condition on 6 April. Maxime Guyon steps back into the saddle and she is a threat. Eaglehawk (FR) Finished sixth over 1600m at Deauville in a Class 3 Handicap on 8 April. Chance on best form shown. Circeo (IRE) May not have seen out the 3200m when unplaced at Chantilly in a Class 2 Handicap on 11 December last year. First outing this year and chance if fit.
RACE 5: DE L’ARMORIQUE HANDICAP (HCP) (FROM SAINT-CLOUD RACE 6) – 1200M | TIME: 22:46 | PRIZE MONEY: EUR 17300
Air De Samba (FR) Finished second over 1400m at Fontainebleau in a Class 3 Handicap on 31 March. Can go one better with luck in running. Shade (FR) Finished fourth over 1200m at Chantilly in a Class 3 Handicap on 14 April. Drawn in pole position and is one of the leading contenders. El Madar Finished second over 1200m at Chantilly in a Class 3 Handicap on 14 April. Chance if confirming recent improvement. Monsieur Dupont (FR) Finished fourth over 1100m at Le Croise-Laroche in a Class 4 Handicap on 4 April. He is in a good space and must be considered.
RACE 6: DU TRIANGLE DE ROCQUENCOURT HANDICAP (HCP) (FROM SAINT-CLOUD RACE 7) – 2500M | TIME: 23:21 | PRIZE MONEY: EUR 19200
Starlight (FR) In good form this year. Finished fourth over 2800m at Argentan in a Class 4 Handicap on 9 April. Nicely drawn and may be the one to beat. Argyron (IRE) Finished third in last two starts, the latest of which was over 2800m at Argentan in a Class 4 Handicap on 9 April. Should pose a massive threat. Vesinaba (FR) Finished eighth over 2400m at Evreux-Navarre in a Class 4 Handicap on 15 April. His last victory came under Cristian Demuro. Lucio Vero Finished second over 3200m at Bordeaux Le Bouscat in a Class 4 Handicap on 27 March. Has no stamina issues and should be competitive.
