4. LEXOVIENNE – Three unplaced runs of late, 3rd before that in a Class 3 race at Le CroiseLaroche on May 19th. Looks vulnerable
5. INSPIRADO – Unplaced last time, 4th before that over 2000m at Lyon Parilly on June 1st in a
handicap. Placed on the PSF before. Consider for a place
6. POTE – Fair 3rd last time in the same race as AL HABISSET (3) on August 3rd over 2500m at
this track. Ought to be on the premises
7. MAILIE – Won last time at Aix-Les-Bains over 2000m in a claimer on her second run on July 9th.
Needs a few to falter in a better race

1. BURHAN – Looked very inexperienced on his debut when 4th at this racecourse over 1500m on
July 28th. He can be more focused today and is in the mix
2. IRONICO – Not beaten far when 3rd on debut at this track on July 30th over 1200m. Can improve
and be involved at the finish
3. GONCORA – Decent 2nd on his debut at Dieppe over 1400m on July 23rd. Can improve from
that and he looks a nice prospect
4. MAHJONG – 4th last time at this track over 1200m on July 30th in a maiden. Has not improved
from a pleasing debut when 2nd
5. PERGOLOR – Unplaced when making his debut over 1000m on June 14th at Dieppe. Best
watched for now
6. POKROV – 5th on the sole start over 1400m at La Teste on June 27th. Nice pedigree and will
be wiser this time
7. BELVEDERE PALACE – Has had four runs so far, the latter when 4th in a Class 2 race at Le
Lion D’Angers on July 11th over 1200m. Others make more appeal
8. KILDONAN – Fair 4th on his debut at Newcastle (GBR) over 1200m on August 2nd. Might find
a few of these too smart
9. BENNY THE WAITER – Newcomer by Blue Point, the dam never raced. Looks nice on paper
and will be well prepared. The market can guide
Summary: GONCORA (3) was beaten by a useful colt in Sir Tommy Cen on his debut at Dieppe.
He will know more this time and can improve and be competitive. BURHAN (1) showed talent on
his debut and will know more this time. He can make things interesting. IRONICO (2) ran a good
debut when third at this track and was not beaten far that day. He can step forward from that run.
POKROV (6) showed ability on debut and looks the best of the remainder.

1. STAR OF BRITTANY – 5th last time on her second start over 1200m at this track on July 30th.
Among the leading each-way options
2. SAPODILLA – 7th at Chantilly on her only run over 1400m on July 14th. Should appreciate this
extra trip and is one to watch
3. OAXACA – 6th on her debut at Chantilly over 1200m on May 2nd. Will come forward from that
run and ought to be thereabouts
4. BETTER TOGETHER – Lots to like about her 2nd placed debut run at this track over 1200m on
July 30th. Can improve and looks like a nice prospect
5. MORENA QUEEN – 5th at Deauville over 1200m on July 7th on her only run. Will improve and
is one to keep safe
6. REALITY CEN – 5th on her debut at Clairefontaine over 1600m on July 27th. Drops back in trip
and others preferred
7. RAYEVKA – Newcomer by Blue Point, the dam never raced. Stable runners are usually wellprepared for their debut. Can make the frame
8. MARVELOUSLY – Newcomer by Cotai Glory, stable runners warrant respect on debut. Any
market support should be noted
9. MAGGIORE – Newcomer by No Nay Never, the dam won at the Class 2 level and was placed in
a Group 3 race. Any market support can be informative
10. MUSIC DEBELAIR – Newcomer by Van Beethoven, the dam ran once. Might need this opening
run and is best watched in the betting for clues
11. RUE HELENE – Unraced filly by Threat, the dam won over hurdles and fences. Best watched
in the betting for any support
Summary: BETTER TOGETHER (4) caught the eye on her debut when she was second on this
track at the end of July. She seemed to be getting the hang of things at the finish that day and can
improve from that experience. MORENA QUEEN (5) could be the one that makes the selection
work hard for the win after showing ability on her sole start when fifth at this track last month.
RAYEVKA (7) looks nice on paper and is one to watch in the betting market. OAXACA (3) is also
worth a mention.

3. PASTISSE – 3rd over 1300m at this track in a handicap on August 3rd when last racing. Hard to
discount
4. LA FLUTE – Three placed runs so far, the latest over 1400m at La Teste on July 21st in a maiden
race. Handicap debut and will be expected to be involved
5. KEY TO VICTORY – 5th last time, won before that at Clairefontaine in a claimer over 1600m on
July 31st. Merits consideration

presence

of the foot of the handicap
Summary: LA FLUTE (4) could be the answer on her handicap debut after three-placed efforts in
maiden races. She could have the most to fear from STUPOR MUNDI (2) who has run well at this
track on her latest start in a maiden race at the end of July when she was fourth. PASTISSE (3) is
one to include in all of the place bet permutations. RETT ANGEL (1) shaped well on the PSF when
second at this track 12 days ago and will not be inconvenienced on the switch back to the turf.
