Quality four-year-old gelding AMOR VICTORIOUS is on track to secure successive victories in Saturday’s $160,000 Handicap race over the mile at Randwick Racecourse, Australia.

The Bjorn Baker-trained gelding has amassed four wins from nine starts so far and was last seen winning first-up after a four-month break over 1400m at this track. On that occasion, AMOR VICTORIOUS showed his customary early speed to control the race from the front and win going away by close to three lengths.

Rising to the mile won’t pose any problem for AMOR VICTORIOUS, as his record of two wins from three attempts suggests, and another bold front-running performance looks likely.

Belle to run Wild at Bunbury
In-form mare WILD BELLE is poised to secure back-to-back victories in Saturday’s $125,000 Listed Cyril Flower Stakes over 1200m at Bunbury Racecourse, Australia.
WILD BELLE has been in exceptional form since returning from a 10-month break on New Year’s Day, posting a promising fourth-place finish in a race of this nature staged over 1000m before excelling second-up to claim the Listed Miss Andretti Stakes over this distance.

Saturday’s feature event presents no tougher challenge for the four-time winner from nine starts, and she has the opportunity to continue her rich vein of form for trainer Luke Fernie.
