1. MARZOUK – A runner-up in five of his seven starts so far. Distance suited and sets the standard.
Hard to oppose
2. TRUBLION – Modest last run when only sixth. Did better before that and is capable of contesting
the finish
3. HIGH FACTOR – Did not show much on debut when seventh. Capable of improvement and
could earn some money
4. BY EXETER – Well beaten in last two starts, Better this distance and is capable of earning some
money
5. VENICE – Unreliable but was well beaten on last two starts. Capable of popping up in a place
every now and then
6. LIMERICK BOUND – Much improved last run when runner-up over further. Drop in distance may
not suit but can finish in the money
7. BOLENTES FAL – A three-year-old gelding by Bold Quest out of Penthesilea who is making his

8. MEMORY ROAD – A three-year-old colt by Sea The Moon out of Pure Song who is making his

Summary : MARZOUK (1) has developed a habit of running second and has five of them in his
seven starts. He really should beat these rivals. TRUBLION (2) seems better than the modest last
run when sixth and should do better this time. BY EXETER (4) is probably better this distance and
could be the surprise package of the race. LIMERICK BOUND (6) showed improvement last time
out and could have more to offer.

can contest the finish
4. HAVRAS – Not disgraced when fourth over this course and distance on debut. Likely to improve
and is not out of it

be the one to beat

Summary : TREFLE VOLANT (5) showed promise on debut over 1600m. He is likely to prefer this
distance and should make good improvement. The one to beat. PROMETHEUS (1) was third over
this course and distance on debut and can do better this time. HAVRAS (4) was behind rival
PROMETHEUS (1) last time and that may be the case again but it is not certain. DSCHINGIS
GOLD (6) makes his debut and deserves some respect.

1. MYMAP – Returned to her best with a claimer win over this course and distance last time out.
Capable of following up
2. CUEROS – Usually gives of his best and scored a break-through win in a claimer last time out.
Tougher task this time but is not out of it
3. ARAMITZ – Both wins were in claimers. Only seventh last time out on the PSF, Probably better
on the turf and is not out of it
4. SAINT CLOUD – Disappointing last run when seventh. Did much better when fourth in
penultimate start. Has a winning chance dropped to a claimer
5. WAY TO MARSEILLE – Only win was over a lot further. Drops to a claimer and is capable of
improvement but is easy to watch this time
6. DAYTONA – Only ninth on debut in a claimer. Did not do much better in second start and is
probably best watched this time
7. ISOLA DI CAPRI – Only win was on debut. Unreliable since then but was not disgraced when
third in a claimer over this track and trip in her penultimate start. Place chance
8. PAVLOVA SWEETS – Improving and is hat-trick seeking after some nice wins. Won a claimer
last time out and can double up
9. MALLORCA SUN – Has yet to win a race after 17 attempts. Showed improvement when fifth
last time out in a claimer last time out. More needed to win
10. PALANZANO – Yet to win a race and was well beaten in handicaps recently. Needs to find a
few lengths to win this race
11. WALL D’ARTOIS – Fourth in a claimer in his penultimate start but has struggled in all his other
starts. Others are preferred
12. DSCHINGIS SHAAN – On a long losing run since only win. Well beaten in a claimer last time
out and needs major improvement to win

Summary : MYMAP (1) won a claimer over this course and distance and is capable of following
up. It is a competitive looking race. SAINT CLOUD (4) drops to a claimer and should fight out the
finish. PAVLOVA SWEETS (8) is improving and has every chance of completing a hat-trick after
some good wins. CUEROS (2) faces tougher after a recent claimer win but is also not out of it.

2. ASKAYA – Has not shown much in two starts so far. Tries further this time but others are much
preferred
3. MILLION MILES AWAY – Well beaten on debut at Chantilly just over a month ago. Capable of
improvement but others are preferred
4. ARUNDHATI – Not disgraced when sixth on debut at Chantilly in October. Capable of
improvement and has a place chance
5. SILVER D’ARTOIS – Sixth in a claimer on debut last month. Capable of improvement but others
are much preferred this time
6. VELIA – Showed improvement when runner-up last time out. This looks a tougher task but can
contest the finish
7. JAKIMA – Improving the further she goes. Not disgraced when runner-up in the UK last time out.
Has a winning chance on French debut
8. AMARNA – Seventh on course and distance debut. Capable of improvement but needs to do a
lot more to win this race
9. MALYA – Has showed improvement with each start and was runner-up over 2000m last time out
earlier this month. Fit and has a winning chance
10. NEPHTIS – Not disgraced when sixth on debut. Capable of improvement but this is a tougher
task. Might place
11. ROYAL ROSI – Did not show much when seventh on debut at Saint Cloud over 2000m. Can
improve and earn some money
12. MIYALAA – A two-year-old filly by Shalaa out of Rasmiya who is making her debut. Watch the
betting
13. ORIGINAL WAY – A two-year-old filly by Galiway out of Magic Date who is making her debut.

14. GRAND LILI – A two-year-old filly by Saxon Warrior out of Castle of May who is making her
debut. Could be ready to win on debut

Summary : ALTHURAYA (1) was third over this course and distance on debut. Improvement
should be forthcoming and she gets the vote to score in a competitive race. GRAND LILI (14)
makes her debut but it could be a winning one and she deserves the utmost respect. JAKIMA (7)is
improving and should like this longer distance. VELIA (6) is improving and is capable of going one
better.

1. GULF PEARL – Fair fourth on debut last year which was on the PSF. Only modest since then
on the turf but is capable of improvement
2. BOUM DU NINIAN – Has not shown much in her two starts so far. Drops in distance and could
improve but others are preferred
3. TERTULIANE BLOOM – Runner-up in a claimer last time out. Fair form before that and is
capable of finishing in the money
4. TRANQUIL ROSE – Consistent without winning so far. Runner-up in three of her four starts and
should go one better tin this line-up
5. OZMA – Seventh on debut in September. Capable of improvement but needs to do more to win
this race
6. A TA GUISE – Runner-up on debut in January when on the PSF. Not disgraced when fourth in
her come back run. Place chance
7. TOSCANE TEMPLE – Well beaten in both starts so far. Capable of improvement but is best
watched this time
8. KOREA – Has been unlucky not to win with four runner-up performances. Drops in distance this
time but can fight out the finish again
9. ZOUBAREVA – A three-year-old filly by Zanzibari out of Miss Annie who is making her debut.

Summary : TRANQUIL ROSE (4) deserves a winning turn after finishing runner-up three of her
four runs. She should be a bit better than these rivals. KOREA (8) has been unlucky not to win a
race yet but the drop in distance could find her out against rival TRANQUIL ROSE (4).
TERTULIANE BLOOM (3) showed improvement when runner-up in a claimer last time out and
could contest the finish. GULF PEARL (1) has room for improvement and be a threat.

2. GREASE – Yet to win a race and is clearly very unreliable. Not disgraced when runner-up in his
penultimate start but was well beaten in a handicap last time out. Might place
3. SCAT LADY – Fair form of late and does look to be improving. Third in a handicap last time out
and can contest the finish
4. COOL HEART – Runner-up off this mark in a handicap in July but has struggled twice in
handicaps since then. Might place
5. BOLT OF THUNDER – Well tried this year and has won two handicaps this year. Fair form in
claimers of late and is not out of it
6. PRINCESS KARA – Disappointing lats run when seventh. Two fair runs before that. Makes
handicap debut and could be the surprise package of the race
7. L’AMBASSADEUR – A bit of a disappointment when only sixth in a claimer last time out. Fair
form before that and could finish in the money
8. SLICK CHICK – Runner-up three times in a row in handicaps off this mark of late. Versatile
distance-wise and can go one better
9. ZIBULON – Not disgraced when fourth in his only handicap. Has scope for improvement and is
clearly not out of it
10. LADIVA – Not disgraced when runner-up in a claimer last time out but has struggled in
handicaps of late. Might place
11. RECOLEROS – Has yet to win a race but is in good form and was fourth in a handicap last time
out. Can do even better this time
12. MEHGAWAY – Has yet to win a race after 9 attempts. Not disgraced when fifth last time out
and has been runner-up twice this year. Might place

Summary : SLICK CHICK (8) deserves a win after knocking hard on the door with three runner-up
performances of late. She can go one better. SCAT LADY (3)seems to still be improving so could
be a threat. RECOLEROS (11) was not disgraced when fourth in a handicap last time out and can
do even better this time. BOLT OF THUNDER (5) has already won two handicaps this year and
has a winning chance.

Summary : BECHO (1) is not the most reliable but did well when runner-up in a handicap last time
out and can go one better. MINO PICO (4) could be ready to break through with a win and was
runner-up in a handicap last time out. RED THE WEST (11) is a course and distance winner and
was was runner-up this trip last time out. BANKSY (5) was a good third in a handicap last time out
and deserves respect.

from a break and could need this run
4. REGALIEN – Well tried this year without winning. In good form of late in handicaps and can
contest the finish again
5. ON THE EDGE – Runner-up in a handicap over this distance last time out off her current mark.
Has been good at that course but might win this open looking race
6. BLACK TRACK – On a very long losing streak and has been really struggling of late. Unlikely to
win on current form
7. ITHAQUE – Much improved this year and has won twice. Good last win this distance and is not
out of it carrying a 2kg penalty
8. CODE OF SILENCE – Has won over this distance but is returning from a lengthy break and is
likely to need this run
9. PISORNO – Struggling of late and only win this year was in a claimer. Needs major improvement
to win
10. PREDETERMINED – Distance suited and won over this course and distance in May. Runner
up in handicap last time out and can go one better
11. DANDY COOL – Distance suited and has won three times this year. Only sixth in a claimer last
time out and needs to do more to win
12. LA FLACA – Unreliable and struggled on the PSF last time out. Won on the turf before that and
can bounce back to score

Summary : ON THE EDGE (5) can go one better on good recent run in a handicap but it is a very
tough lucky last race. SEASCAPE GIRL (2) was not disgraced when third in a handicap last time
out an can do better this time. REGALIEN (4) is in good form and has a winning chance. ITHAQUE
(7) is improved of late and can follow up on a good last win over this distance carrying a penalty
this time.
