Talented sprinter GAMESTONKS seems poised to enhance his impressive local record as he competes in the 1250m Metro A contest in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

Since winning a Max Two Stakes race on his local debut in April last year, GAMESTONKS has steadily progressed through the grades, showing improvement with each race.

The seven-year-old has won twice out of three outings this season, including the Dr Lim Ah Soo Memorial Trophy in Penang, followed by a decisive victory here over 1200m three weeks ago.

With a Malaysian record of six wins out of eight starts, GAMESTONKS remains unbeaten in three runs over the track and distance, making him a strong contender for a winning hat trick this weekend.

Golden Payout can atone

Progressive performer GOLDEN PAYOUT will be seeking redemption after his recent defeat when he lines up in the 1600m Class 4 contest this Sunday.

GOLDEN PAYOUT uncharacteristically missed the start before closing well in a mile race here three weeks ago, eventually finishing 5th, beaten by 4.75 lengths. The five-year-old gelding won impressively two starts back over the 1100m trip when produced second up.

Despite a previous unsuccessful attempt over the mile, GOLDEN PAYOUT, trained by Charles Leck, has the potential to bounce back to winning form this Sunday.
