A very tricky card awaits punters at Hollywoodbets Scottsville this Wednesday where place bets and swingers could be the way go.

Majority of the races seem to be highly competitive with the first jumping off at 12:30.

That’s My Baby has decent highveld form from the Sean Tarry yard and is the narrow first selection with Gavin Lerena up. She has been entered into the Douglas Whyte Thekwini Stakes ( Grade 1) and is bound to run a cracker here.

Knockout from the powerful Justin Snaith yard is another who could run extremely well after her facile maiden win. She caught the eye in her last run and must be respected. She Can from the Michael Miller yard ran well in her last start and will make her presence felt.

Race Two doesn’t get any easier, Sean Tarry saddles Let’s Go Now and she is another one of the yards entries into the Douglas Whyte Thekwini Stakes ( Grade 1). She won her maiden impressively and the form looks good. Bitcoin Baby gets the best draw for trainer Michael Miller and jockey Tristan Godden. The form seems to holding up well so she will have a big say here.

Glen Kotzen sends out Three Little Birds in the third race who ran a massive race in her last start on Poly. Derryl Daniels knows her well and she should love this step up in trip. Another massive runner here is Lady Canton from the Paul Lafferty yard with Muzi Yeni up. She has been consistently placed and will be running on well into the closing stages.

Rock Fall in Race Five looks the horse they all have to beat. She has run some decent races over the longer trip and gets a decent enough draw which will be highly beneficial. Riccardo from the Dennis Bosch yard generally runs extremely well at this track so must be thrown into all bets.

Vaughan Marshall saddles Ensuing in race Six. He has been holding form and and his last run was eye catching so will be flying at them late. Beechamwood Boy will have a big say as he’s form speaks for itself. The Wendy Whitehead trained son of Eighthfold Path has Calvin Habib aboard as well as a solid record at this track.

Lady Serena could round off a great day for the Paul Lafferty yard if things go well as they have some competitive runners in the earlier races of the day. She ran very well in her last start and the 4kg claim could make all the difference here.

Family Favourite cannot be discounted from a good draw and will be involved in a highly competitive race where a case can be made for a few runners. The Pick 6 is likely to return a decent dividend and structuring your bets accordingly is the key play of the day as punter’s will have to make that all important decision on which races to load and where to go light.
