Saturday’s Ascot meeting has been called off due to forecast high temperatures.
An eight-race was scheduled, highlighted by the $100,000 G.A. Towton Cup (2200m), however with temperatures predicted to soar above 40 degrees, authorities made an early call to cancel racing.
