Takes a big jump in class but would not be here without a realistic chance of imposing. IMPERIAL STRIKE (IRE) Second to AVEC TOI (6) in Group 3 Prix la Rochette over course and distance on 6 September. Missed out by little that day and once again looks a serious proposition. AMUSINGLY Runner-up in Group 2 Prix d’Aumale at ParisLongchamp over 1600m on 6 September. Benefits from a decent draw and should improve considerably on last year’s performance. BENVENUTO CELLINI (IRE) Irish Derby winner that ran third to KALPANA (9) in the King George. Should not be too harshly-judged for coming fifth to VARANDIR (11) in Group 2 Prix Niel and will be no push over drawn on rail.
