Race 1 (Eagle Farm) – Become a BRC Member Benchmark 78 Handicap (2400m)
Several runners renew their rivalry after meeting over 2200m at Eagle Farm. Tapildoodledo came from near the rear to win that contest by almost two lengths. He has won three times at Eagle Farm and is proven over 2400m, while the two-kilogram claim reduces his weight to 59kg.
Captain Maverick finished second in that race and has now placed at six of his past eight starts. The extra 200m should not trouble him, but he must overturn a decisive last-start margin. Chillaxing was third after settling closer to the speed. His recent form includes wins over 2000m and 2150m, along with a fourth over 2500m.
Benzino has finished first or second at six of his past seven appearances, including two wins. He rises from easier company but continues to hold his form. Trapalanda has two wins and nine placings from 18 starts and is proven over 2400m, while Lennox has been competitive throughout the winter and possesses tactical versatility.
Race 2 (Morphettville) – Winning Edge Presentations Handicap (1050m)
A small but intriguing three-year-old field opens the meeting. Pretty Baby brings the strongest exposed form after winning the Listed Oaklands Plate over 1400m. She had previously recorded consecutive thirds on soft ground and has now finished in the first three in three of four starts. The sharp drop to 1050m is the main question, but the two-kilogram claim reduces her weight to 58kg.
Chica Astuta won her only start over 1000m on Soft 5 and resumes with blinkers applied. That debut victory came by almost 1.5 lengths, suggesting she possesses the speed required for this assignment.
Azytass improved sharply to win when returning for her second preparation and draws barrier two. Inhabit won on debut before contesting stronger races, while newcomers Tully Rapids and Dirty Poker introduce an element of uncertainty and should be monitored for market support.
Race 3 (Eagle Farm) – Country Music Raceday No Metro Wins Handicap (1000m)
The remarkable winning sequence of Everybody Rise makes him one of the most interesting runners on the programme. He has won four consecutive races and draws barrier one, giving Taylor Marshall the opportunity to utilise his natural speed. This is another rise in class, but his current momentum is difficult to overlook.
Invahir has won 11 of his 34 starts and returned to the winner’s stall at his latest appearance. His second-up record is particularly strong, producing four wins and a second from six attempts. The 60kg allocation is reduced to 58.5kg through the apprentice claim.
Spirit Of Brodie has won three of his past five starts and remains in consistent form, while Paleface Ringo arrives after a victory and two placings from his past three appearances. The wide barriers are a concern for both runners. The Fixer resumes with a strong overall record and draws favourably in barrier three. Mercian was second when returning and carries only 52.5kg.
Race 4 (Morphettville) – Sportsbet Feed Handicap (1600m)
Recent form makes Brave Star, Willybeafactor and Kengero the central figures in this Benchmark 78. Brave Star has recorded a win and a second from his past two starts after gradually building into form. He carries 58kg and has Jason Holder aboard from a manageable draw.
Willybeafactor broke through two starts ago before producing another strong third. The two-kilogram claim reduces his weight to 56kg, although barrier eight may leave him exposed early. Kengero has also returned to winning form this preparation, following a victory with a second placing, and draws favourably in barrier four.
Snoopy Now carries the highest rating but has strong mile credentials, recording three wins and three placings from nine starts at the distance. His form includes a Benchmark 78 victory and a competitive Caulfield fifth. Barrier one and the claim help offset his weight. Lucky Lucky Boom remains a lightweight chance after finishing third last time.
Race 5 (Eagle Farm) – The Droulers Chez Pockette Cup (1000m)
Star Of Jamaica brings the strongest exposed form into this three-year-old sprint. During his first preparation, he won over 1000m before finishing fourth in the $2 million Inglis Millennium and third in the Group 2 Skyline Stakes. He has finished first or second in both appearances at the distance and resumes after being gelded, although 60.5kg is a significant impost.
Touch Base has raced only twice, finishing second on debut before winning at his second appearance. He draws barrier four and receives a 1.5kg claim. Boonie Boom was successful on debut for Tony Gollan and should improve with that experience.
Queen Olympias followed a debut second with a victory and draws ideally in barrier two. Maria Clara has also progressed quickly, finishing third before breaking through last time. Another Champers resumed with a second placing, while debut winners Tale Of Tass and Erimar add further depth to a race featuring several unexposed runners.
Race 6 (Morphettville) – Sportsbet More Places Handicap (2057m)
Jandami is the runner with the strongest winning momentum, having won his past three completed starts. He rises from easier company and draws barrier 11, but the two-kilogram claim leaves him with 54.5kg. His ability to handle the rise in grade will determine the race.
Placo has recorded six wins and five placings from 18 starts. He won over 1800m before finishing second over 2250m, indicating the unusual 2057m distance should suit. His wide barrier is the primary concern.

With Spirit Of Brodie scratched, the race opens considerably. Neverenoughlego is chasing a fifth consecutive victory after working through the grades impressively. The gelding rises to metropolitan Benchmark 72 company but carries only 57kg and draws favourably in barrier six.
Determination has won three of his past four starts and enters after consecutive victories. Barrier 17 creates a major tactical challenge if he gains a start, but his current form demands respect. Stanislaus returned with a victory and has previously performed in stronger company. The two-kilogram claim reduces his top weight to 59kg.
Siesta has finished first or second at five of her seven starts and receives a three-kilogram claim. The outside draw is the concern. Manpower returned with a third before winning last time and draws barrier one, while Mercian arrives after a strong first-up second. King Jester continues to race consistently and was narrowly beaten at his latest appearance.
Race 8 (Morphettville) – Croser Handicap (1544m)
An even Class 2 in which several runners arrive in winning form. Golden Guru has recorded a win and four placings from five starts this preparation. His latest second continued a consistent campaign, although barrier 10 could require Jason Holder to settle further back than ideal.
JE City broke through last start after producing an encouraging second two runs earlier. The gelding draws barrier five and should appreciate the slight rise to 1544m. Paganini also enters as a last-start winner, but barrier 12 presents a tactical challenge.
On Any Tuesday has improved with each of his past three starts, culminating in a second placing, and carries only 54kg. Victory Tune has been competing in stronger Victorian races and drops into Class 2 company, but he remains unproven beyond 1400m. Magic Island draws barrier one after finishing third and fifth since resuming, while Blue Isles has placed at three of his past four starts.
Race 9 (Eagle Farm) – DrinkWise No Metro Wins Handicap (1400m)
A large and competitive field should ensure a genuine tempo. Mean Approach is chasing a third consecutive victory after winning both starts this preparation. He carries 60kg but benefits from a 1.5kg claim and draws suitably in barrier seven.
Badgers Nuts has an outstanding 1400m record, winning eight times and placing on another eight occasions from 23 starts around the distance range. He comes off a second placing and the three-kilogram claim brings him down to 57kg. Cool Music has been remarkably consistent, finishing in the first two at seven of her past eight starts. She carries only 52.5kg before the claim and draws barrier four.
The Louvre has won four of his past eight appearances and comes into the race following consecutive placings. Barrier two should allow him to secure an economical position. Irama resumed with a victory and draws well in barrier five, while Gambino has recorded a win and a second from his past two starts but must negotiate barrier 19. Dillinger returned with a third and could be ready to improve from barrier three.
Race 10 (Morphettville) – Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap (1050m)
The consistent Grand Host is close to another victory after recording two seconds and a fourth from his past three starts. The nine-year-old has accumulated 10 wins and 25 placings from 77 appearances, including 22 top-three finishes from 54 starts around this distance range. His Morphettville record is less compelling, but his current form is strong.
Miss Cotoletta returned to form with a second placing last time and carries 58kg from barrier eight. Dampen resumed with a third and has now placed in 11 of his 23 starts. He should improve with the run but must overcome barrier nine.
Zestiman has finished in the first three in seven of his past 10 appearances and benefits from a three-kilogram claim, although barrier 12 is awkward. Livalittle has developed an impressive record of five wins and five placings from 12 starts. He won three consecutive races last preparation and has returned with a second and a victory. His only previous attempt over the Eagle Farm mile resulted in a win, although barrier 13 and the rise to 61kg present fresh challenges. The three-kilogram claim is important.
Automne Tree is another progressive runner, producing two wins and a second from his past three appearances. He draws barrier five and should receive a favourable run under Ryan Maloney. High Dandy has finished first, second and third in three starts this preparation and should be ready for the mile, but barrier 14 complicates his map.

Kick Your Knees Up is chasing consecutive victories and has won three of his past five starts. He draws barrier three and carries 57kg, giving him a favourable setup if gaining an uncontested position near the speed.
Sir Leapalot has won three of his past five appearances and was not far away when fourth last time. The two-kilogram claim reduces his weight to 57.5kg. Bouncing Beyond returned to the placings with a third and receives a three-kilogram allowance from barrier two.
Hello World improved considerably when second at his latest start and should now be approaching peak fitness. Vexatious Dancer also returned with a second and draws barrier five. Pre Eminence has regained form with a third and a second from his past two starts. He has won six of 20 appearances and boasts three wins and three seconds from nine attempts over 1200m. The 1.5kg claim reduces his weight to 58.5kg, and barrier six should provide options.
Facundo returned with a victory and has now won five of his 12 starts. He rises in class but remains well weighted with 57.5kg and has James Orman aboard. Ser Joh resumed with a second and should take improvement from that performance. His wider draw may require Taylor Marshall to make an early decision.

The feature race brings together established performers and several horses with ambitions for the spring. Lingani is the race-fit runner after winning three of her past five starts, including her latest appearance. She has the equal-highest rating in the field but receives 2kg from the male runners under the weight-for-age conditions.
Sir Now has finished in the first three at six of his past seven starts. His current campaign has produced two wins, three seconds and a third, and he looks ready for the step into Group 3 company. Barrier 11 may force him to work early.
Tippa has won six of his 14 starts and finished second when resuming last preparation. He draws ideally in barrier three and possesses a reliable first-up record. Mating Call resumes after consecutive seconds and has finished in the first three in eight of 12 appearances.
Great Maximus brings competitive interstate form, including placings in the Listed Wangoom and strong metropolitan handicaps. Air Assault is the highest-profile runner but is yet to win from six starts over 1200m and may be using this as a launching point towards longer races. Race 15 (Eagle Farm) – Ladbrokes Hosted Pots Open Handicap (1400m)
Anemacore is the benchmark runner after another excellent preparation. He has won six races and placed 13 times from 26 starts, including four wins and four placings from 10 attempts over 1400m. He finished third in the Listed Glasshouse Handicap before narrowly missing at his latest appearance and draws well in barrier four.
Express Payment has recorded two wins and three seconds from his past five starts. He steps into open company but carries only 54kg before the apprentice claim and continues to improve. Pereille has placed at three of his past four appearances and is rarely far from the finish, although barrier 16 is a major obstacle.
Tenzing resumes for Tony Gollan after finishing in the first three at seven of his previous eight starts. His first-up record includes two wins, but he must carry 59kg. Rising Pacific has been racing in competitive company and should appreciate returning to 1400m. Edited By improved when third last time, while Astero has been competing in strong interstate races and draws favourably in barrier three.
Race 16 (Morphettville) – Peter Elberg Funerals Handicap (1200m)
Justacclaim has hit peak form with consecutive victories and has now won four of his past eight starts. He rises in weight and draws barrier 10, but his current progression suggests he can handle the move into Benchmark 66 company.
Metrical produced his best performance of the preparation when second last time. The three-kilogram claim reduces his weight from 63kg to 60kg, and barrier five should allow him to find a favourable position.
Hooked On Wealth is one of the most consistent runners in the field, recording two wins and 10 placings from 17 starts. He has placed at four of his past five appearances and draws perfectly in barrier two. Platinum Wolf returned to winning form first-up and should improve with that run, although barrier 11 is a concern.
Daisydoo finished fourth and fifth in two runs after a spell and may be ready to peak third-up. Race 17 (Toowoomba) – 1Equine Weetwood September 26 Class 4 Handicap (1300m)
With The Little Pumper scratched, last-start winner Irama holds a clear form advantage. The gelding returned with a 1.8-length victory over 1200m at this track and should appreciate stepping up to 1300m. He has won or placed in nine of 20 starts, including two wins and a second from four Toowoomba appearances. His record over 1300m is also strong, with a win and three seconds from five attempts.
Lunar Eight has finished second in her past two completed starts and receives a 1.5kg claim. Barrier 10 is the concern, but her consistency makes her a leading chance. Change The Deel returned to winning form last time and carries only 54kg, although he rises from easier company.
Out Of Luck has finished third and fourth in two starts since resuming and draws favourably in barrier three. The scratching of Rubology removes the original topweight and leaves Knowitall Frank as one of the strongest chances. He has won four of 16 starts and possesses an excellent record over this course and distance, winning his only previous 1300m appearance at Toowoomba. His first two runs this preparation produced a second and a fourth, and barrier four should allow him to settle close to the speed.
Ezeiza broke through two starts ago before finishing fifth last time. She draws barrier one and carries 58.5kg in a race that appears no stronger. Atomic Selfie has improved with each run this campaign and enters after a third placing. Barrier three gives Nozi Tomizawa the opportunity to secure an economical run.
Copper Star produced a better performance when third last time and draws barrier two. Life Of Tree has finished third and fifth since resuming, while emergency Love To Be Proud has returned with a win and a third. She’s Brutal remains a consistent place chance if gaining a start, having finished in the top four at five of her past six appearances.
Race 19 (Toowoomba) – Florence & Marabel Benchmark 65 Handicap (1200m)
The Little Pumper drops sharply in grade after finishing second behind Irama over this course and distance. He settled near the rear before working into the race and should benefit from that first-up performance. The gelding has a win and two seconds from six attempts over 1200m, while the 1.5kg claim reduces his weight to 60kg.
Purezza has been racing consistently, recording a win, a third and another placing from her past four starts. She draws barrier four and receives a two-kilogram claim. Mister Selfie won twice earlier in the preparation and has since competed in stronger races. Returning to Benchmark 65 company could help him improve.
Born Fearless was a winner three starts ago before contesting tougher assignments and may appreciate returning to provincial grade. Over Draft has finished in the first four at three of his past four appearances and draws barrier five. Atomic Selfie would also be competitive if backing up here, while the inside barrier may help Justela improve second-up.
Race 20 (Toowoomba) – Carpet One Toowoomba Class 2 Handicap (1890m)
Sealord is the runner with the most upside after breaking through over 2050m at the Gold Coast. He came from back in the field to win by 2.6 lengths and now drops slightly in distance. This is his first Toowoomba appearance, but barrier one should help him conserve energy around the tight circuit.
Empress Aspen was a maiden winner before spelling and has now had two runs back. Her latest eighth was below expectations, but the rise to 1890m may produce improvement. Blumstien has been racing consistently without winning, finishing fourth and second earlier in the campaign before two midfield efforts. He must overcome barrier 11.
Shot Down By Love returned to the placings with a third last time and carries the minimum weight from barrier four. Caitlin has only one win from six starts but draws barrier two and should be suited by the longer distance. Dolly Disco recorded three consecutive thirds before her latest seventh and receives a 1.5kg claim.
