Race 1 English Preview:
Vassy (FR) Not disgraced when fifth in a Class 2 at Saint-Cloud over 1,600m on 29 May 2026. Made a promising return last time after 2 good performances in 2025 and could be ready to win again. The Odyssey (FR) Fifth in a Listed at Longchamp over 2,000m on 7 June 2026. Faced a potent field last time and will be competitive in this company. Cracking Good Time (IRE) Victorious in a Class 3 at Dax over 2,100m on 29 June 2026. Has recorded two wins in her four starts and should fight out the finish once again. Littoral Nord (FR) Showed some improvement when fourth in a Class 3 at Dax over 2,100m on 29 June 2026. Beaten 3.25 lengths by.
Race 2 English Preview:
Mr Lope Cen (IRE) Showed promise and was third in a Class 1 at La Teste De Buch over 1,600m on 15 July 2026. Finished 4th in a Gr 3 in his penultimate and stands out in this field. New Connection (IRE) Well-beaten in a Handicap over 1600m at Ascot in the UK on 18 June. His two previous races were decent enough to give him some sort of chance in this race. Alhama River (IRE) Showed promise and was third in a Class 2 at Dax over 1,400m on 29 June 2026. Began his career last year and was rested but has two strong performances this season. Zanina (IRE) A poor 9th in a Handicap at Lion D’Angers on 24 July. Supplemented into this race but her form is weak and she is unlikely to trouble the other three.
Race 3 English Preview:
Wite Toast (IRE) A 4-length 2nd in a Handicap over 1600m at this track on 11 July. Tries this distance for the first time but it should prove ideal for her. Yaggera (FR) Showed some improvement when fourth in a Class 2 at Dax over 2,100m on 17 July 2026. A highly consistent performer who could have found the ideal field to take on. La Almadia (FR) A 2-length 2nd in a Handicap over 2000m at this track on 15 July. Finished strongly last time and should run well again despite facing a more potent field. Ciao Nene (FR) Did not perform badly when 3rd in a maiden over 1600m at this course on 11 June. He has run well over this distance and should be respected.
Race 4 English Preview:
Garris (FR) Made short work of rivals in a Class 4 Handicap at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 1,200m on 15 June 2026. He won that race with authority and the small drop in trip should not hinder him. Albertinelli (FR) Finished 15th in a Class 4 Handicap at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 1,200m on 23 May 2026. He is better than that performance and based on his previous three outings he must have a winning chance. Prolixe (IRE) A decent 3rd in a Handicap over this course and distance on 26 June. He was not beaten far and in his third run back from a break he should be at his peak. Instruit Only modest of late and finished 6th in a Class 4 Handicap at Vichy over 1,000m on 24 July 2026. His rating is at a level where he should be competitive in this event.
Race 5 English Preview:
Hardwel (FR) Threatening to win and was runner-up in a Maiden at Mont De Marsan over 1400m on 26 July 2026. Leading contender. Sol Indiges (FR) Finished 6th over 1400m at Chantilly in a maiden on the 7th of July 2026. Will have more to offer and should challenge. Affirmatif (FR) Finished 7th behind a reopposing sort over 1400m at Chantilly in a maiden on the 7th of July 2026. Can earn a cheque. Someone (FR) Finished 7th in a Maiden at Mont De Marsan over 1400m on 26 July 2026. Has scope to improve and can place.
Race 6 English Preview:
Bare Elegance Runner up over 1400m at Dax in a Class 3 handicap on the 17th of July 2026. Should have a winning chance. Tornilla (FR) Victorious in a Class 4 Handicap at La Teste De Buch over 1600m on 11 June 2026. Should fight it out. Maroon Six (FR) Showed some improvement when 4th in a Class 3 Handicap at Dax over 1400m on 17 July 2026. Will be very dangerous here. Otomai (IRE) Only modest of late, finishing 9th in a Class 3 Handicap at La Teste De Buch over 1400m on 26 June 2026. Should challenge of current mark.
Race 7 English Preview:
Massko (FR) In good form and finished 3rd in a Class 4 Handicap at Dax over 2100m on 17 July 2026. Should be in the firing line. Ugatzai (FR) Threatening to win and was runner-up in a Class 4 Handicap at La Teste De Buch over 1600m on 15 July 2026. Should mount a serious challenge. Amoretti (FR) Not disgraced when 5th in a Class 4 Handicap at Dax over 2300m on 8 July 2026. Will likely have a say in the outcome. Snatcher (FR) Finished 6th in a Class 4 Handicap at Dax over 2100m on 17 July 2026. Can be very competitive off current mark.
Race 8 English Preview:
Monte Linas (IRE) Threatening to win and was runner-up in a Class 4 Handicap at La Teste De Buch over 1600m on 15 July 2026. Big runner. Kirby (FR) Finished 3rd in a Class 4 Handicap at Dax over 2300m on 8 July 2026. Should be in the firing line once again. Don Nicolas (SPA) Useful run in 3rd over 2300m at Dax in a maiden on the 17th of July 2026. Has the form to be a factor here. Gouverne (FR) Outclassed the opposition in a Maiden at La Teste De Buch over 1900m on 1 July 2026. Include in all bets.
