La Sauzee (FR) A decent third in a Condition over 2200m at Fontainebleau on 11 April. She ran on strongly and looks well weighted. Olya (IRE) Disappointed when seventh in a Claimer over 2000m at ParisLongchamp on 30 April. She may not have enjoyed the good ground but is better than that run. Mungasha (FR) Finished eighth in a Claimer over 2000m at Marseille Vivaux on 2 May. Not always the most reliable runner but he should manage the softer ground.

Ledesma Encouraging first-up run when finishing third over 2400m. Should improve and strip fitter. Nightjar Encouraging first-up run when finishing third over 2200m. Should improve and strip fitter. Killwining (FR) Debut run was good when stormed home to finish fifth over 2000m. Strips fitter and looks ready. Portal (FR) Finished fifth in a Maiden over 1800m at Deauville on 5 November. Has been given time to develop and should come back stronger over the longer trip.
RACE 3: HUBERT BAGUENAULT DE PUCHESSE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM LYON-PARILLY RACE 3) – 1600M – TIME: 21:15 PRIZE MONEY: EUR50900
Thor Lightning (FR) A runaway 4-length winner of a Condition over 1400m at this course on 13 April. The runner-up has gone on to win a Quinté+ and he will be suited to the soft track conditions. Riassou (FR) Finished seventh in a Listed over 1400m at ParisLongchamp on 23 April. She won her two previous races over this course and distance. Will need to prove herself at her current rating but cannot be ignored. Ziggy Star (FR) Was seventh in a Handicap over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on 29 March. He is at his best over this distance and has won at the course. Should contest the finish. Aquitain (FR) Gutsy winner of a Handicap over 1600m at Fontainebleau on 11 April. Has placed in all of his races over the distance and can overcome the 2kg penalty for his last win.
RACE 4: PIMPIN MAIDEN STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM LYON-PARILLY RACE 4) – 1600M – TIME: 21:50 PRIZE MONEY: EUR19200
Magnus (IRE) A promising second in a Maiden over 1600m at Saint-Cloud on 17 April. Has finished runner-up in his last two starts against strong opposition so has high expectations. Sourdeval (FR) A disappoint- ing seventh in a Maiden over 1600m at Le Mans on 20 March. Was reported to be striding short by his jockey and that run is best ignored. Did well on debut earlier. Madame Magic (FR) A promising third in a Maiden over 1400m at Nancy on 26 April. Placed in a Listed in Germany two runs earlier and should be competitive. Stratovulcano Not beaten far when sixth in a Maiden over 2000m at Fontainebleau on 20 April. There should be room for improvement so keep safe.
RACE 5: DES VIOLETTES HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM STRASBOURG RACE 1) – 2000M – TIME: 22:07 PRIZE MONEY: EUR15400
Ruby In The Rocks (FR) Showed some improvement when fifth in a Handicap at Lyon-Parilly over 2000m on 29 April. Capable of scoring off this handicap mark. Maydana (FR) Not disgraced when fifth in a Handicap at this track over 2400m on 18 April. Better over further but can contest the finish. Force Tranquille (FR) Only modest of late and finished sixth in a Handicap at Le Croise-Laroche over 2400m on 4 April. Can get involved with the finish. Saguaro (GER) On a long losing run and was fifth in a Class 4 Condition at Wissembourg over 2000m on 1 May. Capable of making the frame.
RACE 6: LAURENT DESCOURS CLAIMING STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM LYON-PARILLY RACE 5) – 1600M – TIME: 22:25 PRIZE MONEY: EUR11500
Baristo (FR) Finished seventh over 1800m at La Teste-Bassin Arcachon in a Class 2 Condition on 1 April. First run in a Claimer and has a winning chance. Le Doc (FR) Finished second over 1500m at Marseille Pont de Vivaux in a Claimer on 2 May. Is in a good space and merits healthy respect. Shativa (FR) Finished behind LE DOC (1) when third over 1600m on this course in a Claimer on 13 April. She may have to settle for the same result. Alinka (FR) Finished fifth over 1400m at Nancy in a Claimer on 26 April. Is inconsistent and chance on best form shown.

Nova Hope (FR) Finished sixth over 1400m at ParisLongchamp in a Class 2 Handicap on 5 April. Nicely drawn and can go close. Chirimiri Is better than latest when unplaced over 1600m at Deauville in a Class 3 Handicap on 8 April. Will enjoy the softer ground and chance on best form.

Firstclass (FR) Finished third in first outing this year over 3000m at Nancy in a Class 4 Handicap on 4 April. He will strip much fitter and cannot be ignored.
