Race 3 – 6 SOLID CAR

Heavily backed last start, he settled off the speed from a slightly awkward draw and made late ground to finish eighth over 1400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed blood in the trachea, making that effort best overlooked.

With solid form around quality types such as HOT DELIGHT and EMBLAZON, he looks ready to produce a forward showing first-up.

Race 10 – 3 ENDUED

Following two encouraging efforts, he had little luck last time out, being badly held up over the final 350m before finishing eighth over this track and distance. Given the circumstances, his two-length margin suggests the run was much better than it appears.

With clearer running, he looks capable of making amends and shapes as one to follow.

Race 1 – 11 PRESTIGE HALL

He likely settled too far back from a wide draw last start, with the slow tempo compounding that disadvantage. Despite this, he still recorded the fastest final 400m (22.64 seconds) to finish strongly into sixth. He appears to be edging closer to a maiden win and could break through if things fall his way.

Race 6 – 5 COOL BOY

Forced to settle off the speed from a wide draw last start, he produced a sharp turn of foot in the straight, recording the fastest final 400m sectional to finish fourth over this track and distance. The slow tempo only added further merit to that effort, and with a more economical run, he should be right in the mix.
