Dalakir A close-up fourth in a Qualifying Handicap over 1800m at this course on 17 March. Has placed in three of his four Quinté+ races and the form of his last race has worked out well, with the fifth placed runner having come out and won. Prince Des Villes (FR) Narrowly beaten when second in a Qualifying Handicap over 1800m at this course on 17 March. That was his first run back after 5 months and he looks a serious contender. Guillerette (FR) A respectable sixth in a Handicap over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on 29 March. She won a Quinté+ at the same course last month, is well drawn in gate No 2 and is expected to be highly competitive again. Melbora (FR) Finished eighth in a Handicap over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on 29 March. Looks well weighted and has won her only race at this course with Cristian Demuro up, and he will be riding her again.
RACE 2: MARE AUX FEES CLAIMING STAKES (3YO) (FROM FONTAINEBLEAU RACE 2) – 2000M | TIME: 20:30 | PRIZE MONEY: EUR 22100
Camponanes (IRE) A 2-length winner of a Handicap over 1600m at Pornichet on 25 March. His form on sand has been outstanding and now he will see if it can be as good on turf. Bleu Nuit (IRE) A moderate ninth in a Handicap over 2400m at Saint-Cloud on 3 April. He did not run well on the turf last time but he is dropping in class this time and could be competitive. Papito (FR) Not beaten too far when fifth in a Claimer over 2400m at Moulins on 9 April. Has been consistent at this level and should prefer the drop in distance. Atalaya (FR) A moderate seventh in a Claimer over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on 5 March. She did not run well on the turf last time but it is worth noting that Maxime Guyon stays with her.
RACE 3: CHAP-LA-REINE MAIDEN STAKES (3YO) (FROM FONTAINEBLEAU RACE 3) – 2000M | TIME: 21:05 | PRIZE MONEY: EUR 24700
Sorano (FR) A decent third in a Maiden over 2400m at Saint-Cloud on 24 March. Has one second place and three thirds in his four races and will benefit from the drop in trip. Derawar A promising fourth in a Condition for unraced horses over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on 19 March. He raced greenly on that debut and can only improve. Earthquake (FR) Finished fifth in a Condition for unraced horses over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on 19 March. Was narrowly behind DERAWAR (1) in that race and there should be little between them again. Citoyen (FR) Unraced 3YO colt by Too Darn Hot out of Galileo mare Louve Nationale, trained by Andre Fabre. A half-brother to Group 3 Winner and Grade 1-placed mare Ligne D’Or.
RACE 4: DES PINS MAIDEN STAKES (3YO) (FROM FONTAINEBLEAU RACE 4) – 2000M | TIME: 21:40 | PRIZE MONEY: EUR 16500
Rosa Gallica (FR) Beaten 3.25 lengths into fourth in a Maiden over 1800m at Chantilly on 30 March. That was her first run back in 11 months and was on the sand. Her form on turf is even better. Chevaldor A 2-length third in a Maiden over 1800m at Chantilly on 30 March. He has not run a bad race and is overdue a first victory. Janah (FR) A strong second in a Maiden over 2400m at Compiegne on 30 May last year. She has excellent form but is having her first run back after almost 11 months. Magical Treasure (IRE) A 3.5-length second in a Maiden over 2200m at Lyon Parilly on 7 October. That was a decent debut run in France after having her first run in the UK. Must be considered despite the rest.
RACE 5: NAPOLEON III CLAIMING STAKES (3YO) (FROM FONTAINEBLEAU RACE 5) – 1200M | TIME: 22:15 | PRIZE MONEY: EUR 22100
Oshia (FR) A runner-up in this division at Chantilly over 1400m on 30 March. Will like it back on the grass and can go one place better. Tinmander (FR) Knocking hard at the door and was runner-up in this division over this course and distance on 17 March. Should be right there at the finish. Misty City (FR) Has some fair form and was not disgraced when fifth in a Claimer at Saint-Cloud over 1400m on 10 April. Will be competitive in this line-up. Dubaiearth (IRE) Kept to the PSF so far and was sixth in a Condition at Chantilly over 1300m on 3 March. Capable of being a threat to these rivals.
RACE 6: COMMERCANTS MAIDEN STAKES (3YO) (FROM LE LION D’ANGERS RACE 1) – 2000M | TIME: 22:32 | PRIZE MONEY: EUR 19200
Patriarche Showed ability to be seventh at Chantilly over 1800m on 19 February on his sole start. Open to progress and should be more focused this time. Player. Good Bye Davier (FR) Placed second on his last run over 2000m at this track in a Maiden on 5 April. Seems to be improving with experience and can be involved. Anoudeux (FR) Ran with promise on debut over 1800m when third in a Maiden at Morlaix on 29 March. He will know more this time and is hard to rule out. Daytonine (IRE) Finished seventh on her sole start over 2000m at ParisLong- champ on 5 April. She will step forward from her debut and can make her presence felt.
RACE 7: DES NOISETIERS HANDICAP (HCP) (FROM FONTAINEBLEAU RACE 6) – 1600M | TIME: 22:50 | PRIZE MONEY: EUR 24000
Parvage Liked it on the grass and was runner-up in a Handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 24 March. Can go one better this time. Divo (FR) Not disgraced when fourth in a Handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 24 March. Can contest the finish once again. Red Scotch (FR) Yet to win a race but is consistent and was third in a Condition at Le Mans over 1600m on 20 March. Can be competitive again. Waterfall Blues (FR) Has only been modest so far and finished seventh in a Condition at this track over 1200m on 13 March. Capable of improvement first time in a Handicap and could be a threat.
RACE 8: SENTIERS DENECOURT STAKES (4YO+) (FROM FONTAINEBLEAU RACE 7) – 1200M | TIME: 23:25 | PRIZE MONEY: EUR 14600
Charismatic Chick (IRE) Has improved of late and finished fifth in a Handicap at Chantilly over 1200m on 14 April. Has claims in an open race. Papateou (FR) Not reliable and finished eighth in a Handicap at Le Croise-Laroche over 1100m on 4 April. Victorious back in November and can contest the finish. Sweet As (FR) Unreliable and finished third in a Claimer at Argentan over 1300m on 9 April. Has shown improvement and is not out of it. King Return (FR) Only modest of late and was eighth in a Handicap at Chantilly over 1200m on 14 April. Victorious back in June and has a chance in this line-up.
