SEI BELLA made good improvement second time out and can feature and the same goes for LIZ HURLEY who was not too far back on debut and should benefit from the experience.

KA CHOW was a distant fourth on debut at long odds but the experience is sure to have brought him on.

Alec Laird visits from the Highveld and LOLLY WILLOWES comes with some useful form. She was narrowly beaten in a work riders race last start but gets Craig Zackey this time around. CHOOKS KISS has the widest draw but has been making steady improvement and can feature. TIPPERARY is a struggling maiden but is seldom far back. She is back up over what may be a more suitable trip and has the benefit of the inside gate.

He has gone close when tried over this trip and is overdue. The filly TAYLOR’S VERSION started favourite last time out but ran no sort of race. The blinkers are back on and given her previous form she should be competitive in this field. GOD’S COUNTRY sees a rare visit from Brett Webber. The gelding made sudden improvement last run and may be worth following in the market.

Race Summary: CONTINENTAL EXPRESS has excellent form over course and distance and should go close to winning again. However, he meets CHILL IN THE AIR on 3kg worse terms with Michael Roberts’s charge starting favourite on the day they met. Visiting ROYAL INVITATION raced in feature company last start and was not too far back. He stays this trip well and rates a strong chance. PLUM PUDDING steps up in trip and is in very good form and the same goes for FRENCH TRIP who beat Continentalexpress when last they met but that was over a much shorter trip. SON OF RAJ is off form but is the class in the race and has his first run for Frank Robertson.

Race Summary: JP’S PALACE was in contention until the last furlong when taking on the likes of Okavango and King Pelles in the recent Kings Cup. He has another handy galloping weight in a field slightly weaker and one can expect another forward showing. I SALUTE YOU has his first run back after a stint in the Western Cape where he paid his way winning the Peninsular Handicap. However, he has to give JP’s Palace 9.5kg which could prove beyond him. Muzi Yeni has deserted BRUH for I Salute You but Paul Lafferty’s gelding has not been out of the money at recent outings and with a light weight and first time blinkers he could be the surprise package. FIELD MARSHAL was running on late behind Okavango and JP’s Palace last time out. It was his first run back from a break and for Nathan Kotzen and should put in a solid effort.

Race Summary: ICE RAIN shoulders top weight but still looks to be relatively well in at the handicap. She was narrowly beaten by RAHHABBA last time out and meets her rival on 1.5kg better terms so should be capable of turning the tables. A bigger threat be LADYOFDISTINCTION who finished three lengths adrift of that pair when last the trio met. However, that was in soft ground and with firmer going she can make amends given that she started favourite for that race. Andre Nel has a second string to his bow in MISS TWINKLE who finished third in the race won by Rahhabba and is also 1.5kg better off in the handicap.

CAPPELLINO is 1.5kg better off with Jane’s Vision but was two lengths back when last they met and that may not be enough to turn the tables. The ever consistent TRAFALGAR SQUARE shoulders a hefty 63kg but is a distance specialist and should run another game race. PROFESSOR LUPIN is always game but his best form appears to be on the poly.
