RACE 1: DU CROCHET DE COYE STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 1800M – TIME: 21:00 PRIZE MONEY: EUR23000
Summary: YOOX (7) returns off a layoff and drops in trip which could well play into his hands
and he could produce a big performance first up with Maxime Guyon engaged. HAVOC (2) just
found one too good last time out and with a bit of luck in transit, he could return to winning ways.
VALZAK (6) arrives in good form and should go very well. GATTOPARDO (1) has won twice from
his last three outings and should be involved once again.
SELECTIONS
YOOX (7) – HAVOC (2) – VALZAK (6) – GATTOPARDO (1)
RACE 2: DU PARC LAVERSIN MAIDEN STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 1300M – TIME: 21:35 PRIZE MONEY: EUR27000
Summary: DREAM OP FAL (2) showed very good improvement last time out and with more to
come, he could get his head in front. WINTER CLASSIC (4) was far from disgraced last time out
and if repeating his debut effort, he could be too good here. ARTISTIC MAN (9) is a newcomer
that needs to be monitored carefully in the market. ALPARSLAN (6) has got some solid runs
behind him and he should be competitive.
SELECTIONS
DREAM OP FAL (2) – WINTER CLASSIC (4) – ARTISTIC MAN (9) – ALPARSLAN (6)
RACE 3: DU CARREFOUR DE CONSTANTINE MAIDEN STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 1300M – TIME: 22:10 PRIZE MONEY: EUR27000
Summary: HEMATITE (1) produced an eye catching effort on debut and should take a significant
step forward on that to fight this out. OAXACA (4) finished in front of the top choice when they
met last time out and can certainly confirm that form. She has had a few more chances to get it
right but should be right in the thick of things. WHY NOT AGAIN (8) is a well bred daughter of
Siyouni who could well know the business on debut and needs to be respected. HAARLEM (2)
may have been stretched on debut and with her dropping in trip, she can earn.
SELECTIONS
HEMATITE (1) – OAXACA (4) – WHY NOT AGAIN (8) – HAARLEM (2)
RACE 4: DU CARREFOUR PAPILLON CLAIMING STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 1300M – TIME: 22:45 PRIZE MONEY: EUR19000
Summary: CENTENARIO (5) has been running in competitive Class 2s without any success and
with him dropping in the ratings, he could be one to keep on the safe side in this. ZELASQUIN (1)
was a clear second best last time out but with a bit off luck from his deep gate, he could go one
better. ROCAMBOLESQUE (3) is best forgiven for a rather under par latest effort and is one that
needs to be included in absolutely everything as he has the right form to win this. BLU METAL
JACKET (6) arrives in hard knocking form and will be a threat once again.
SELECTIONS
CENTENARIO (5) – ZELASQUIN (1) – ROCAMBOLESQUE (3) – BLU METAL JACKET (6)
RACE 5: DU FOUR A TUILE MAIDEN STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 1900M – TIME: 23:20 PRIZE MONEY: EUR27000
Summary: KEREMET (3) made a pleasing start when he was third on debut over 1600m at this
track earlier this month. He will be more suited to the step-up in trip today and can score. ZODD
(5) has done little wrong and has been second on his latest two starts on the PSF. The latest
over-track and trip on February 7th. He can be competitive as can KRYON (9) who showed talent
last year on his only start over 1500m. He can show more over this sort of trip. DIPLOMATE (2)
heads the remainder.
SELECTIONS
KEREMET (3) – ZODD (5) – KRYON (9) – DIPLOMATE (2)
RACE 6: DE LA GRANDE GLACIERE MAIDEN STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 1900M – TIME: 23:55 PRIZE MONEY: EUR27000
Summary: DAY DREAMING (12) was a nice second on her debut at this track in mid-November
last year on her only start. She was beaten by a more fancied rival that day and will improve from
that experience. A NOS AMOURS (14) has a taking profile and holds some good entries later in
the year including the Prix De Diane (Gr.1). She will be expected to give a good account on her
debut. KEETA (11) ran well when third on her only start and can have a say. MISS CLAVEL (5)
can also be involved at the finish.
SELECTIONS
DAY DREAMING (12) – A NOS AMOURS (14) – KEETA (11) – MISS CLAVEL (5)
RACE 7: DE LA FONTAINE SAINT-GERVAIS HANDICAP (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 2700M – TIME: 00:30 PRIZE MONEY: EUR23000
Summary: PROXIMA CENTAURI (6) showed an improved performance when he was third over
course and distance earlier this month on his first try at this trip. He was not beaten far that day
and is given the vote ahead of RUE DES ORTEAUX (7) who was second in the same race. With
Maxime Guyon on the former, it may just sway the balance. BORN TO WIN (8) was a decent
second two starts ago and looks like the each-way angle. FALABELLA (11) makes up the
shortlist.
SELECTIONS
PROXIMA CENTAURI (6) – RUE DES ORTEAUX (7) – BORN TO WIN (8) – FALABELLA (11)
RACE 8: DE LA FONTAINE D’ORRY HANDICAP (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 2700M – TIME: 01:05 PRIZE MONEY: EUR30000
Summary: Hat-trick-seeking BIBBIENA (2) arrives after a recent course and distance success on
February 7th in a Class 3 handicap. She looks like she has more improvement to come and is
marginally preferred over AMARENA DODVILLE (9) who was second when they met here
recently. Both fillies can fight out the finish. DSCHINGIS RANGER (3) was just over one length
back in fourth in the same race and cannot be overlooked. FOXTROT ZULU (6) won recently and
can also be involved.
SELECTIONS
BIBBIENA (2) – AMARENA DODVILLE (9) – DSCHINGIS RANGER (3) – FOXTROT ZULU (6)
