Summary: Battle-hardened handicappers CLIMATE CHANGE (1) and LANAKEN (4) make the trip to Bordeaux with legitimate ambitions. Both should compete for victory. BELLE ET GRISE (8) is respected on her reappearance and will acquit herself competitively if not needing the outing. Consistent DOM BERTRAND (3) completes the shortlist and has sound podium prospects.

Summary: HARPER (1) is a five time winner, put her indifferent penultimate run behind her last time when finishing 2nd at Compiegne and is confidently selected to go one more today. DAPANGO (2) has won two out of his last three starts and will be a serious force to be reckoned with. Big chance. GARBO (4) has been competing in some competitive fields in her last few starts and can go close in this grade. Strong place chance. GRAND BALCON (3) can be expected to serve up way better than he has in his last few. Capable of a big effort.

Summary: LORD WOOTTON CEN (4) has the credentials of being a very good, quality horse. He has got off to a dream start to life, having won both his races to date. One victory was at Parislongchamp and the other at Saint-Cloud. He is confidently selected to remain unbeaten after todays race and is a possible banker on the day. SQUARE D’ALBONI (3) makes the French debut. His form in Great Britain was very good having notched up two wins from as little as three starts. Can be expected to go close in local debut. DREAMLINER (1) is another in this race that is clearly talented and can make his presence felt. Strong each way claims. TAJLINA (5) has a first four chance and must be included in the majority of bets.

Summary: MAP OF STARS (1) has already won a Listed race and has only competed three times. Clearly he is above average. His last run was brilliant at Parislongchamp over 2000m in a Group 3. The one to beat. CASAPUEBLO (5) has been far from disgraced in some very tough Group races and back in lower company, should go very close to getting it all right. DRUMARD (6) was 7th in a Listed event last time but reeled off three wins in a row before that. Obvious chance and inclusion in all bets. ANY MOON (3) makes his local debut and might just need it but can still, nevertheless, run well.

Summary: ALICANTO (15) won his penultimate race which was at Parislongchamp over 2200m in Handicap class back in 2023. Ignore his last run when probably in need of the comeback race and he can certainly bounce right back to winning ways. ANTE ALIOS (1) brings consistent recent form into the race and has to be taken very seriously and factored into all bets. Big runner. CENTRICAL (3) is an eight time winner, was victorious in the last run and has a chance of following up in a competitive field. SNUGGLES (11) has a first four chance.

Summary: In an exciting Group 3 that has assembled a field of 12 runners, MGHEERA (7) drops in class and could be nicely placed to make her present felt in a big way. She did run 2nd in a Group 2 earlier in the year which was followed up by a win at Listed level. QUINAULT (3) has his first run on French soil but is an absolute ball of speed and should be the one to fetch going through the final 200m. He will appreciate being back to 1200m. TAZARA (11) and LE CADEAU (1) met last time out and there wasn’t much to separate between the two and that could likely be the case again as they step in Group company.

Summary: LHAKPA (1) ran in a very strong Group one for fillies last time out where she had some quality 2yos in front of her. She drops in company and is the one they all need to beat. IRON BIRD (8) has been running in Group races as a maiden but when dropped back into maiden company last time out, she made no mistake. She could well pick up the pieces should Lhakpa fluff her lines. MORENA QUEEN (5) put her rivals to the sword last time out and is open to improvement. LA SAMANA (3) can earn on best form.

Summary: TATSTHEWAYTODOIT (3) is running well and brings the right type of form to win a race of this nature. He gets the services of Mikael Barzalona and should go close. CIAO PA’ (1) was a winner two starts back and followed it up with a solid performance which makes him one of the leading lights. KING ROBBE (6) and AVRILOMANOIR (4) were both beaten by Ciao Pa’ last time out but could get closer at slightly better weight terms.

Summary: BARC (5) romped home to victory last time out and on the basis of that, he is the one to beat. ZILRAK (6) has been running to a consistent level and looks close to adding another win to his tally. MORSAN (5) has done well throughout his career and should produce a solid effort given that he’s in a good space at present. STORMY NIGHT (7) gets weight off the back and seems capable of getting involved.

Summary: LOUGHCREW (2) is yet to win a race but hasn’t been far off the action in these races over ground and could prove to be a major player for top honors if he’s on song. The booking of Maxime Guyon makes a lot of appeal. KENOR (4) brings recent winning form to the table and could certainly bounce back into the winners enclosure. ZOUBAREVA (6) was a recent maiden winner in handicapping company and he could challenge. VENICE WAY (8) is another without a win in his career but can run into the money.
