Race Summary: Summary: HAPPY FORTUNE (4) has shown up well in both starts for Darryl Moore and started favourite last time out. She should be close to her peak. BLOWIN IN THE WIND (9) has been runner-up in her last three over shorter. She was staying on well enough over 1100m last time out and the extra should not be an issue. GETOFFMYCLOUD (5) dead-heated with Happy Fortune when making her debut and should roll on from that effort. However, the stable is a little quiet of late which is a concern. HER ROYALTY (8) is way better than her last run over a mile on the poly. Mike Miller has her back in a sprint on the turf and she has run her best race on this course. (Andrew Harrison: 4-9-5-8).

Race Summary: Summary: There should be very little between CAPTAIN’S CHRISTY (1) and STORMY CHOICE (7) the two finishing within a head of each other in their last meeting. Mark Dixon’s filly goes the extra furlong for the first time but has the better draw and Serino Moodley has jumped ship from PERILLA (6) who won her last two under Moodley including a win over Stormy Choice. Stable companion to Captain’s Christy, MALCOLM’S DREAM (3) is talented but temperamental. If she puts it together on the day she could have the measure of them all. (Andrew Harrison: 1-7-3-6).

Race Summary: Summary: NEW FRONTIER (4) has been in good form since racing in blinkers. Paul Lafferty’s gelding has by far the best form in the race and likely to start at cramped odds. CAPTAIN OLVER (11) started at long odds she making his debut over a mile. He looks likely to improve with that experience under his girth and could prove the biggest threat to New Frontier. IRON MONGER (2) is struggling to shed his maiden but was in need of his last run and had been showing signs of life before his lay-off. FIRE FORCE (8) comes from an in form stable. Race Summary: Summary: GOT THE FEVER (6) made marked improvement when running on strongly for second last time out. The Paul Lafferty stable is in good form of late and the extra furlong should suit. FLYING HAFLA (2) was only a neck behind Got The Fever in this last meeting. Like Got The Fever, Mike de Kock’s filly is only having her fourth start and there should be very little between them again. HURRICANE FLIGHT (4) goes well over the trip but is taking her time to shed her maiden. She needs to be included in all calculations. JOAN THE WAD (3) has her third run after a break. She ran out of gas late at her recent outing and should strip a lot fitter this time around. (Andrew Harrison: 2-6-4-3).

Race Summary: Summary: Competitive handicap with many in with chances. GREY FANTACY (8) is well regarded by the stable and has had two outings since a lengthy break. She should strip close to her peak for this race. VISION TO ACHIEVER (7) was caught late over course and distance last run. However, she did get a two-pound penalty for the effort but she is over her best trip. HEREINAFTER (5) has been a revelation as a seven-year-old, winning three of her last four starts. She is up in the handicap but is in very good form. SWEET JULIA (10) has the widest draw to contend with but has shown up well in her last two although all of her recent form has been on the poly. Race Summary: Summary: The Kannemeyer stable has been a little on the quiet side these past few weeks but MR MASTER STARTER (3) caught the eye when coming from off the pace to run second to the useful Formagear last time out. The drop in trip may well have suited and if he can build on that run he should go close again. QUANDRAY (4) has had two outings since a lengthy lay-off but does appear to have his problems. If close to his best he should be a factor in this race. GRIFFIN PARK (1) takes a jump in class but MJ Odendaal has booked a 3.5kg claimer and with a light weight and the best of the draw he can go all the way. GOOD TRAVELLER (8) has been frustrating to follow but ius capable in his day. He takes a further two-pound drop in the ratings and must be getting close to be competitive again. Race Summary: Summary: Peter Muscutt appears to have got THE SHEPHERD (3) over his starting stall issues and the gelding is more than useful. He was second best behind Gladatorian last time out but is back over what looks to be his preferred trip from a good draw. STRATHCLYDE (2) is a model of consistency and has been in the money in his last five starts. He was under a length back to The Shepherd when last they met behind Gladatorian but he is now 1.5kg worse off in the handicap as he is missing Rachel Venniker’s 1.5kg allowance. NAVAJO NATION (5) is the highest rated runner in the race and is an entry in the Gr1 Betway Summer Cup. This will be a warm-up but he may need a forward showing if he is to make the final Cap field. AFRICAN SKYLINE (6) is always dangerous and Craig Zackey replaces the 4kg claimer, the rider in his last start. (Andrew Harrison: 3-2-5-6).

Race Summary: Summary: Tricky handicap. Tienie Prinsloo has had GLOBAL MOVEMENT (11) up against slightly stronger of late and the gelding has been knocking on the door. He has a tricky draw to overcome here but the drop in class and Gavin Lerena taking over in the saddle could be enough to see him home. LOU THE LEGEND (7) has been costly to follow but he has not been far back for his new stable. He is distance suited and the switch to turf could finally bring out the best. STEVIE GEE (2) has been consistent over shorter but his best recent form has been on the poly. He has a good draw and the extra furlong will not be an issue. OH MY WORD ITS ROY (9) was given a four-pound penalty for finishing seventh in a slightly stronger handicap which may have scuppered his chances but he does have a light weight and has a money chance.
