Summary: MON OURAGAN (3) has done extremely well throughout his career and just continues
to turn out solid performances. He will be right there at the finish again. SWISS BANK (5) brings
the right type of form and should be one of the leading lights. THE TOP GATSBY (1) has been
running to a very useful level and despite that being over further, he will pose a big threat here.
LONG AGO (11) tries the trip for the first time in France and could be effective.

Summary: EUGENE SMITH (2) appears to be a talented sort that continues to go from strength to
strength with each outing and showed his dominance last time out when winning. He holds a couple
of these and should confirm the form. One to beat. NONANCOURT (8) has been knocking on the
door for that maiden win and could be well placed to strike with a bit of luck in running. FEET OF
FEAR (6) and ZINGARELLE (3) were beaten by the top pick last time out but could get closer at
the weights.

Summary: This won’t take much winning and a chance is taken on AS A CHARM (2) who won off
a higher mark on this track last year. The same, however, applies to both ROYAL VATI (4) and
TERANGA (8) whose chances shouldn’t be underestimated. Track specialist SOLITARY MAN (10)
also has the means to surprise off his current (reduced) mark back on the PSF. BIENNE (3) is
another with legitimate podium aspirations.

Summary: François Rohaut has 2 strings to his bow and holds the key to this event with promising
fillies BLUE LILAS (14), honorable 3rd in the coveted Prix de la Reboursière on debut, and QUIET
WIFE (9), whose debut 4th was encouraging, likely to fight for victory. FUSEE DE PORCHE (1),
after an eye-catching 4th at Tarbes recently, has the form and experience to challenge those rivals,
with the shortlist completed by last-start winner MARVELOUS BY NIGHT (10) and improving KIM
WHITE (12).

Summary: RICHMOND (9) caught the eye several times last winter on this course and recent
performances/results on the turf aren’t a true reflection of his ability, so it could be worth siding with
him on his return to this surface for the first time since March. MALLORCA SUN (8), another PSF
returnee, is dangerous off a reduced mark and could threaten the selection. LA FIBER (5), at ease
on this track, and SUPER CUTE (6), even without blinkers in which she is most effective, have
podium aspirations.

RACE 6: DU PIC D’OSSAU HANDICAP (FIBRESAND TRACK) (FROM PAU RACE 8) – 1400M – TIME: 21:32 PRIZE MONEY: EUR17000
Summary: ITALO (5) finished on the podium in all 6 visits to this course, albeit over further. That
experience stands him in good stead and he gets the nod in the ‘Lucky Last’ ahead of FULL GAIN
(1) whose aptitude for this track is also not in question. ARFAN (3), judged on his best references
and racing off a lower mark, and VIRIMOON ETOILE (16), dropped to a dangerous rating with the
benefit of an apprentice allowance, appeal most of the remainder.
