SON OF ERUPT has improved of late and is better drawn this time so is clearly not out of it. LUCKY SPIRIT showed improvement last time out but is trying the Polytrack for the first time. Watch the betting on newcomer POWER AND PROFIT as he could be ready for this race.

KAROO GOLD was touched off the last time he ran on the Polytrack so could make a winning local debut. MAYOR OF MERRIVALE is battling to get out of the maiden ranks but could play a minor role. COME ON YOU SPURS has improved with blinkers and could earn some minor money. MO RIDGE could improve on local debut. SUPER CASANOVA ran his best race on the Polytrack so could be a danger on local debut.

Race Summary: A very open looking first leg of the Pick 6 and we may need to go as wide as possible to survive this leg. CRUZADOR was well ridden to score last time out but has a wide draw to deal with. SWISS WALT has ability when in the mood but a wide draw could prove hard to overcome. AQUILA GOLD is well drawn and likes this surface so could earn some money. CHARLIE MALONE is in good form but is not an easy ride. LEGAL THRILLER has run well in better fields so deserves respect. RUSSIAN EMPIRE and DUKE OF ORANGE are also capable of winning when in the mood.

Race Summary: Trainer Gavin Smith has worked out how best EYJAFJALLAJOKULL should be ridden and has been very unlucky not to have got a win out of him lately. If given a clear passage this time he can get up to score. Stable companion MONTELENA was weighted to win her latest start but failed by the narrowest margin and did look an unlucky loser. This is a tougher task but she can make amends. THUNDER MASTER is capable of a strong late run and could surprise. DUBAI HILLS and PURPLE OPERATOR are both in good form and are not out of it.

Race Summary: Another very competitive-looking race for the exotics. SLAINTE MHATH likes the Polytrack and should make a bold bid at scoring. PUERTO PLATA has let the side down of late but could get involved with the finish again. ISLAND MASTER and CRIMSON COMET both arrive after maiden wins and are capable of earning some more money. KANIMAMBO is better than his last run would suggest and has a winning chance. HEAD GARDENER is going to keep his head in front one of these days and deserves some respect. BELLE’S FIRST WAVE could pop up into a place.

Race Summary: It is not easy to win all three legs of a challenge, but KING REGENT was impressive in the first leg and even more so in the second leg. This distance is not a problem so hopefully he can complete the final challenge. CHERRY ANO did not show his best last time out but is a high-class performer on his day and will be a threat. BUSH TRACKER is capable of making the frame. INHERIT THE RAIN loves the surface and should like this longer distance. Stable companion GLOBAL ALLY is consistent and can earn some more money. THE MAURITIAN is another with place claims.

CHERE FOR ME ran on nicely last time out and could earn some more money. STRANGE MAGIC is unreliable but has beaten a better field than this. BEAU KALA is in very good form and would not be a surprise winner. CATCH YOUR BREATH is improving and can fight out the finish once again. LADY WRITER is in good shape and can be competitive once again. LADY LUCK is better than her last run would suggest.

She is not the most talented filly in his yard but can win a race like this. IGNITETHELIGHT was an easy winner on local debut but that did look a weak race. Stable companion LA PEQUENITA is in good form and should be right there at the finish once again. FIRST WISH is improving and was full of running in her maiden win. EAT PREY LOVE is better than she has been showing of late. SPIRIT PRINCESS has lost her way but could be the surprise package.
