Summary: APOPHTEGME (10) has a low weight and was a pleasing second last time at
Strasbourg in mid-September. He can go one better this time at the expense of HAPPY
VALENTINE (2) who is improving with race experience and has a good bit more to come.
WINDERMERE (1) has decent form at Strasbourg and was a good third in a handicap last time.
ZARAKIVA (3) is capable of making an impact in this event.

RACE 2: CANOUVERT STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) (FROM CHANTILLY RACE 1) – 1500M – TIME: 19:10 PRIZE MONEY: EUR34000
Summary: BLUE ISLAND (4) made a sparkling debut when winning over 1600m at this very circuit
and is confidently selected to remain unbeaten after this race. MILITARY AIR (3) is another that
was victorious first up but at Lyon Parilly. He is by the mighty Frankel and could also, remain
unbeaten after this. Expect plenty. SELENIEN (1) is showing tons of talent and is clearly
progressing. He has strong each way claims. OLYA (5) comes into the race fresh off a win at SaintCloud and if were to follow up, it would be no shock at all despite preferring others for the win.

Summary: NOBLEMAN (9) is in mustard form currently and his last effort in a Handicap at this
track over 1800m in late September was most encouraging. Bright win chance. CASARES (15) is
already a two time winner and can be forgiven for the last below par effort. CLIFFS OF MOHER (8)
was not far adrift the winner in fifth last time and can be expected to get a lot closer this time. Strong
place chance. DAZZLING JEWEL (6) is a must for the first four. Respect and include.

Summary: XAARINE (1) has been in good shape this year and has some honest performances.
She ran another good race last time when she was fourth at Strasbourg in mid-September and is
marginally preferred to TEMPLETON (4) who has yet to get her head in front but has three secondplaced runs this year. FRIST GLORY (6) is capable of being involved and looks like a good option
each way. ETEL (5) heads the remainder.

RACE 5: COYE STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) (FROM CHANTILLY RACE 3) – 1900M – TIME: 20:30 PRIZE MONEY: EUR27000
Summary: ROCK BLANC (5) knows what it takes to win races as he has done it many times
before. His last run was a fair 3rd over 1900m at this track and he has a serious winning chance.
CICCIO BOY (2) is a tad erratic but on very best form, can win a race like this and win it well. Do
not discount his chances. AZKA (6) is never far off the action and placed 4th over 1900m last time.
Serious place claims. CENTRAL PARK WEST (1) recorded his tenth career win last time and if he
were to make it 11 after this, it would be no shock at all. Respect and include.

RACE 6: PLACE CARRIERE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM NANCY RACE 6) – 1400M – TIME: 20:47 PRIZE MONEY: EUR18000
Summary: ESSAI TRANSFORME (5) has been in good shape recently and won nicely two starts
ago at Le Mans in mid-September. SO GOLD (10) ran a decent race in Germany last time when
third and was a good second at Saint-Cloud in June in a Class 3 handicap. NO TIME (11) looks
like a sensible option for the each-way backers to latch on to. FLEXIBILITY (1) warrants respect
and can figure despite top weight.

RACE 7: CHENE SYLVIE HANDICAP (FIBRESAND TRACK) (FROM CHANTILLY RACE 4) – 1900M – TIME: 21:05 PRIZE MONEY: EUR16000
Summary: TOTE BAG (11) is taking his time to get the maiden win out the way but has shown
good enough form thus far to suggest the win is near. His last two starts in Handicap class were
not great but the effort before that when 2nd at Vichy was good. He has each way claims. SI
CAPOSI (10) is lightly raced and caught the eye last time when 4th over 1800m at Lyon La Soie.
He should fight out the finish. MISTER JULES (4) surely has not been fully exposed and could be
the very strong place value choice. LOGIS (9) was a winner last time and is a must for all bets and
the short list.

Summary: LIYA CHOPE (2) is the tentative selection in a weak race. She was a good third two
starts ago at Strasbourg in early September and a repeat of that will make her competitive.
CANDYMAN (3) could be the main rival. He was a decent third in a claimer at Lyon Parilly 16 days
ago and will not lack fitness. PRINCE SHALAA (7) has been second twice recently and is one to
keep safe. PASSAGE MESLAY (5) makes up the shortlist.

performances and deserves one soon. BEST SHALAA (3) was not disgraced in a handicap last
time out and can do even better under Maxime Guyon. ADRETT (5) was not far behind the selection
TENDER THOUGHTS (9) last time out and can also get involved with the finish.

TALENTUOSO (3) is capable of doing better and is another that can be considred a possible
winner.
