Summary: A small field but a very competitive race. STUNNING ANGEL (1) won over further last
time out bit has also run well over this track and trip before. She may be the best of this bunch.
LIBYAN PHAROAH (2) did not show much in Group company last time out but had some fair form
before that and would not be a surprise winner. GREEN JASPER (4) is improving and can follow
up on a solid enough win. BIN ZARAK (3) has yet to win but is also not out of it.

RACE 2: DES ORCHIDEES MAIDEN STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM LYON-PARILLY RACE 2) – 1350M – TIME: 18:31 PRIZE MONEY: EUR23000
Summary: JANAYEN (6) showed promise when third on debut. That was a decent race and she
could be hard to oppose dropped in distance. MORENA QUEEN (8) has run well in both starts and
will not go down without a fight for top honours. ZOWAL (1) was not disgraced on debut and is
likely to be smarter this time so is not out of it. FELIX AUX ORMES (4) was not beaten far on debut
over a similar distance and deserves respect.

Summary: A race of newcomers. JOKLA (11) is out of a mare that was Group 1 placed and she
would not be a surprise winner on her debut. HARYANA STAR (8) is well-bred and her trainer has
a very good season with two-year-olds. WAR PLANE (3) is another that catches the eye and
deserves some respect. MILITARY AIR (2) is a Frankel colt and they are always competitive.

RACE 4: MOREL-JOURNEL STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM LYON-PARILLY RACE 4) – 1600M – TIME: 19:40 PRIZE MONEY: EUR30000
Summary: MATURLO (1) flopped in the Italian Derby but had good Italian form before that and
could score in France. TEN HORNS (3) could be returning to his best form and has a chance of
going one better on a solid last performance. TOYOTOMI (4) did not run too badly in a Listed race
last time out and knows how to win so deserves respect. THOR LIGHTNING (5) has been
consistent so far and can be competitive again.

Summary: A very competitive claimer. BRIONA (8) has only won the once race and that was on
the PSF but she is in good form and gets a narrow vote to score. IL CAPO (2) was not disgraced
in a Conditions race and should do a lot better this time in a claimer. SALMA (7) is unreliable but is
capable of winning a race like this. L’INITIE (4) is usually competitive but has yet to win a race.

RACE 6: LA MULATIERE STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM LYON-PARILLY RACE 7) – 1350M – TIME: 21:32 PRIZE MONEY: EUR14000
Summary: Another very open-looking race, this time a handicap. SINNDARILLO (10) was not
disgraced over further last time out at this course and should do better this distance. WHEEL OF
CHANCE (1) has a winning chance under jockey Mickaƫl Barzalona. TRIESTE (6) is not well drawn
but would not be a surprise winner. JUMANO (7) will be given every assistance by jockey Maxime
Gyon.

RACE 7: TRABOULES HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM LYON-PARILLY RACE 8) – 1600M – TIME: 22:07 PRIZE MONEY: EUR20000
Summary: ASHIKTASH (4) has a very good record at this course and could go one better on a
solid last run. MAX VERST (8) is consistent and should be involved with this finish of the lucky last
race. BOZZO (12) is seldom far off them and can contest the finish yet again. MR CASSIOPE (5)
could be returning to form and is capable of making the frame this time.
