Race Preview

RACE 1: ONDE AMERE STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM CRAON RACE 1) – 2400M – TIME: 16:45 PRIZE MONEY: EUR22000

Summary: A small field but a very interesting race. HAPPY DAYS (4) does appear to set the
standard for the race but will be challenged on all sides. TIGER ROCK (1) is improving and was
full of running when scoring last time out so should be a threat. WINTER SNOWFALL (5) flopped
last time out but would not be a surprise winner in this line-up. DJHANSY (6) struggled in a
handicap last time out but should do better this time.

SELECTIONS
HAPPY DAYS (4) – TIGER ROCK (1) – WINTER SNOWFALL (5) – DJHANSY (6)

RACE 2: VAL D’ATHEE MAIDEN STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM CRAON RACE 2) – 2400M – TIME: 17:15 PRIZE MONEY: EUR17000

Summary: MUSIC TEACHER (6) is threatening to win a race and will get every opportunity of
doing so under jockey Mickael Barzalona. DSCHINGIS DRAGON (1) is consistent and was
ahead of rival COSMIC FRONT (7) when they met and can do so again. Both are not out of it.
KOPPER CROWN (12) makes her debut but is a filly that could get involved with the finish.

SELECTIONS
MUSIC TEACHER (6) – DSCHINGIS DRAGON (1) – COSMIC FRONT (7) – KOPPER CROWN
(12)

RACE 3: CHENE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM CRAON RACE 3) – 1300M – TIME: 17:45 PRIZE MONEY: EUR20000

Summary: CREW DRAGON (1) was only fourth the last time he saw a handicap but has been in
very good form all year and should make a bold bid at scoring. MR GOODNIGHT (8) has some
fair form of late and can contest the finish. MY BLACK LADY (2) is capable of better than the last
run would suggest and is not out of it. MISS MAI TAI (4)carries a penalty for her last run but
would not be a surprise winner.

SELECTIONS
CREW DRAGON (1) – MR GOODNIGHT (8) – MY BLACK LADY (2) – MISS MAI TAI (4)

RACE 4: PARISLONGCHAMP STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM CRAON RACE 5) – 2200M – TIME: 18:52 PRIZE MONEY: EUR15000

Summary: I’M A BELIEVER (5) was only eighth last time out in a handicap but that was in a
tougher race than this and he can bounce back to beat these rivals if at best. JUST LIGHT (4)
was not disgraced last time out and should like this shorter distance. He should be a lively
danger. CENTRICAL (6) seems capable of better than the last run. AROWN (1)could also make
the frame.

SELECTIONS
I’M A BELIEVER (5) – JUST LIGHT (4) – CENTRICAL (6) – AROWN (1)

RACE 5: DAOUDA KA MAIDEN STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM TARBES RACE 2) – 1500M – TIME: 21:22 PRIZE MONEY: EUR23000

Summary: NIVSKY (6) finished nicely to be narrowly beaten on debut and can go one better this
time. FRENCH CHUNKY (4) is improving and will not go down without a fight for top honours.
JARKI (3) was not disgraced on debut and with improvement likely would not be a surprise
winner. GLOBAL VENTURE (10) showed promise on debut and can also make the frame.

SELECTIONS
NIVSKY (6) – FRENCH CHUNKY (4) – JARKI (3) – GLOBAL VENTURE (10)

RACE 6: SOLEDAD DE MORATALLA MAIDEN STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM TARBES RACE 3) – 1500M – TIME: 21:57 PRIZE MONEY: EUR23000

Summary: BLUE ELIE (9) ran well when third on debut and she sets the standard for this race.
This longer distance should suit her nicely. THORDIS (13) is making her debut but would not be a
surprise winner. BOEZA (1) did not run badly on debut and improvement is expected this time
around. GYP SEA (5) returns from a break but could improve and make the frame.

SELECTIONS
BLUE ELIE (9) – THORDIS (13) – BOEZA (1) – GYP SEA (5)

RACE 7: PHILIPPE DE WATRIGANT HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM TARBES RACE 4) – 2100M – TIME: 22:32 PRIZE MONEY: EUR17000

Summary: LONG KE WAN (3) is in good shape and can turn the tables on rival CADE’S (4) this
time and possibly score. CADE’S (4) only picked a 1kg penalty for the win last time out and
should be right there at the finish once again. AGAMEMNON (7) showed improvement last time
out and can contest the finish again. THECLIMB (11) is consistent and deserves respect as well.

SELECTIONS
LONG KE WAN (3) – CADE’S (4) – AGAMEMNON (7) – THECLIMB (11)

RACE 8: ALETTI PALACE MAIDEN STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM VICHY RACE 1) – 2000M – TIME: 22:50 PRIZE MONEY: EUR16000

Summary: SILA GRECA (6) has improved with race experience and should get the better of her
main danger ANACONDA (1) who has plenty of experience and should be suited for the step up
in trip. BERLINETTA (5) is also stepping up in trip and looks like a solid option for the each-way
backers to latch on to. CORTELLA (12) is making her debut and the booking of Maxime Guyon
catches the attention.

SELECTIONS
SILA GRECA (6) – ANACONDA (1) – BERLINETTA (5) – CORTELLA (12)

RACE 9: MOULINS HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM VICHY RACE 2) – 2000M – TIME: 23:25 PRIZE MONEY: EUR16000

Summary: LIVING NELSON (3) was a decent second on his latest start over 2000m at Marseille
Borely earlier this month. Beaten only half a length that day by IPHITOS (5) who is worse off at
the weights this time, back in fourth that day was O’SSITOT (4) who is also one that needs to be
taken seriously. He has a few lengths to find so it could be a tight finish between the three of
them. AGDUNE (6) looks best of the remainder.

SELECTIONS
LIVING NELSON (3) – O’SSITOT (4) – IPHITOS (5) – AGDUNE (6)

RACE 10: FRANCIS JAMMES HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM TARBES RACE 6) – 2100M – TIME: 23:42 PRIZE MONEY: EUR15000

Summary: FINEHA (5) is consistent and has been in decent form for most of this year. She was
a nice third at Dax in late June on her latest run and is a marginal choice ahead of L’ARCHET (4)
who was beaten by under a length at Dax when he last raced on August 20th and looks ready to
win. NOROLLES (3) is an option for the each-way backers after a credible fourth at Dax on the
latest run. CULTURE (2) makes up the shortlist.

SELECTIONS
FINEHA (5) – L’ARCHET (4) – NOROLLES (3) – CULTURE (2)

RACE 11: CHARLES GIRAUDON HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM VICHY RACE 3) – 2000M – TIME: 00:00 PRIZE MONEY: EUR18000

Summary: AQUILON (14) was a good third when last seen at Lyon Parilly earlier this month and
is the tentative selection in this handicap. BRAVE SHIINA (15) gets in at the foot of the weights
and could be the main threat. GOGUEN SPAISE (3) has been third on his last three outings and
looks like a logical option each way. KALIFE ALAPLACE (12) ran a credible race at this track last
time and is not out of it.

SELECTIONS
AQUILON (14) – BRAVE SHIINA (15) – GOGUEN SPAISE (3) – KALIFE ALAPLACE (12)

RACE 12: COMBRONDE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM VICHY RACE 4) – 2000M – TIME: 00:34 PRIZE MONEY: EUR14000

Summary: PAS DE VELOURS (9) could be the answer to this open handicap. She was a good
third at Chantilly when last seen earlier this month. RIP (10) is down in the weights and is seeking
win number eight. He can make the selection work hard for success. LADY VALOU (11) is one to
look at each way, she ran well at this track two starts ago when fourth. FILZMOOSERIN (6) can
also have a say in proceedings.

SELECTIONS
PAS DE VELOURS (9) – RIP (10) – LADY VALOU (11) – FILZMOOSERIN (6)

RACE 13: SAINT CHRISTOPHE STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM VICHY RACE 5) – 1850M – TIME: 01:06 PRIZE MONEY: EUR22000

Summary: YOOX (6) has been running in good races of late, he was fourth in a Listed race on
his seasonal return and then ran well on his two other starts. He can score from CEDRUS (2) has
good form and built on his win in a maiden in April when he was third in a Class 1 race at Lyon
Parilly in mid-May. THARPE (3) has yet to finish out of the first three in four starts and can once
again be involved. ACOTANGO (4) won well at Dieppe late last month and can also have a say at
the business end.

SELECTIONS
YOOX (6) – CEDRUS (2) – THARPE (3) – ACOTANGO (4)

RACE 14: GILLIES FORIEN HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM TARBES RACE 9) – 2300M – TIME: 01:22 PRIZE MONEY: EUR20000

Summary: BLOU LAGOON (1) has been shaping well all season and has a good opportunity to
score off top weight in this handicap. She probably has the most to fear from BASHEER (2) who
was below par last time but is best judged on his penultimate run when he was second at La
Teste in late June. CIAO MA (7) looks like a sensible option each way. SNATCHER (4) is also
one to respect and makes up the shortlist.

SELECTIONS
BLOU LAGOON (1) – BASHEER (2) – CIAO MA (7) – SNATCHER (4)

RACE 15: BULINGTON HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM VICHY RACE 6) – 2400M – TIME: 01:40 PRIZE MONEY: EUR20000

Summary: LAVENDIN (5) had a run over hurdles two starts ago and was then fourth in a Class 3
race at Divonne when not beaten far. He has a good chance of scoring in his first handicap. VINO
(6) is a danger, she was a decent fifth in a competitive handicap on her last run at
Parislongchamp 11 days ago. HARRY GOLD (7) is one to include in all of the place bet
permutations. PINK PERSEVERANCE (2) is on her handicap debut and could be dangerous.

SELECTIONS
LAVENDIN (5) – VINO (6) – HARRY GOLD (7) – PINK PERSEVERANCE (2)

RACE 16: MUNET HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM VICHY RACE 7) – 1400M – TIME: 02:10 PRIZE MONEY: EUR20000

Summary: AMOUREUSE (12) has been in decent form and has a good racing weight. She was
a pleasing third at Deauville recently and is given the verdict ahead of BAKHILOVA (13) who was
ahead of her in the Deauville race. That was on the PSF. Back on turf this time it could be a
different outcome. MIA BELLA (14) has yet to win but has decent placed form and is an each-way
option. BAIGNADE (9) looks best of the remainder.

SELECTIONS
AMOUREUSE (12) – BAKHILOVA (13) – MIA BELLA (14) – BAIGNADE (9)
