1. HYPERCORE – Good first run then disappointed second run when 6th over 1800m at
Clairefontaine. Hard to assess. Prefer others
2. FOREVER GIVEN – Has placed four from five, finished 3rd over 2000m at Vichy on the 31st of
July and rates the one they all have to fear the most. Win suggestion
3. OURO PRETO – Last few runs have been dismal but form before is encouraging. Expect better.

4. MARQUISES – Has scope to build on debut 7th over 2400m on the 9th of August at
Clairefontaine. Small place chance
5. CIRCLE OF DREAMS – The daughter of Dubawi has impressed in both runs thus far and a huge
effort can be expected. Placed 4th over 1800m last time. Big danger
6. LINARIA – Finished 4th over 2400m at Lyon Parilly in June and plenty more is required for the
win. Happy to ignore
7. OLERON – Ignore last run when downfield, judge on debut effort when 3rd over 2000m at
Parislongchamp. Good chance
Summary: FOREVER GIVEN (2) gets the services of Ronan Thomas and brings some useful form
into the race having placed four out of the five times that he has competed. His last run was at
Vichy in late July and he is the firm first choice. CIRCLE OF DREAMS (5) has run twice for a 3rd
on debut at Dieppe and a 4th at Clairefontaine. She should win very soon. Bright chance. OURO
PRETO (3) can be expected to put those three dismal efforts behind him. Place claims. OLERON
(7) has a first four chance.

Summary: BLUE LILAS (7) ran a solid race on debut and with the experience under the belt, she
looks poised to strike despite dropping in trip. VALMACCA (5) drops in trip as well and could be
suited to shorter for now. She could have a say in the finish. LORD OF DAY (1) showed promise
on debut and would have learnt a lot from that outing which brings him in with a chance here.
OCEAN TREATY (6) is better than her last effort and a repeat of her debut run will see her being
a threat.

Summary: PRETTY BERRY (3) reeled off a hat-trick prior to a very disappointing run and can
easily bounce back to best in a winnable event. SHOWPOWER (2) has run against stronger in
France and should be a runner if able to put his best foot forward. EMBRACE ADVERSITY (5) has
bits and pieces of form but slots in with a light weight which should aid her cause here. DESERT
RHAPSODY (4) is better than his last and could show up better.

down in grade. He has the right credentials and is the one to beat. COMME QUOI (6) has produced
two encouraging post maiden efforts and will be a huge challenger. CARTIMANDUA (9) has shown
quite a bit of promise in her short career thus far and could run a bold race. WAIKATO (1) brings
the right form to the table and if the drop in trip isn’t too much of an inconvenience, he will be a
factor.

luck, he could go one better. MAX VERST (9) has been running to a solid level and looks ready to
win again. He will just need some luck from the deep gate. BOOMERANG (16) arrives in top form
and with a light weight on the back, it would be no surprise to see him make it three in a row despite
rising in class. JOH SPIRIT (7) is capable and meets the right type of company to be competitive.
