C1 – PRIX MILLKOM – 1600m (a1m) – TURF – Listed Race – Flat – EUR € 55,000
1. TIMBER LIGHT – Won three races last year but has been disappointing this year and was 6th
last time out in a Conditions race over this track an trip on 6 August. Needs to find a few lengths
to win
2. CAMBACERES – Very consistent and was runner-up last time out in a Conditions race at
Compiegne over 2000m on 22 July. Drops in distance but is not out of it
3. X RAYS – Has three start in Madrid including last time out over 1600m on 2 June. Tackles
stronger but might play a minor role
4. TOYOTOMI – Improving and is hat-trick-seeking after some nice wins, with the latest being in a
Conditions race at Vichy over 1600m on 18 July. Has a winning chance
5. BAYAMOON – Did not show his best when 12th last time out in a Listed race at Chantilly over
1600m on 29 June. Capable of better and could bounce back to be a threat
6. SOLDIER’S GOLD – Did not show his best when 6th last time out in a Conditions race at
Deauville over 2000m on 11 August. Has won at this course and can bounce back to score
7. BABAKOOL – In good form and was runner-up last time out in a Condition race at Deauville
over 1600m on 17 August. Can content the finish
8. NO LUNCH – Disappointed when 7th last time out in a GR.3. at Deaville over 1600m on 4
August. Clearly better than that and can be a serious challenger
9. MALINOVKA – Consistent of late and was fourth lat time out in a Conditions race over this
course and distance on 6 August. May need to do more to beat these rivals
10. SPIRITUALE – Only modest last time out when 6th in a Listed race over this track and trip on
21 July. More is needed to beat these rivals
11. SEE THE DREAM – Has shown promise winning two of her tree starts, with the latest being in
a Conditions race over this track and trip on 6 August. Deserves respect in this line-up
12. FATHOM – Did not run too badly when 5th last time out in a Listed race at Vichy over 2000m
on 18 July. Needs to do a bit more to beat these rivals
Summary: SOLDIER’S GOLD (6) is clearly better than his run earlier this month and it would not
be a surprise were he to bounce back and win this race. NO LUNCH (8) struggled in GR.3. last
time out but had good form earlier and should be a lively danger. CAMBACERES (2) has been
very consistent and should also be competitive. TOYOTOMI (4) has struck form and deserves
respect for two solid wins.

1. BLOU LAGOON – Unplaced on the last two runs, 3rd before that in a Class 2 race at Tarbes
over 2300m on June 5th. Holds a leading chance
2. SILLABUB – Unplaced last time, won before that over 2300m in a handicap at Senonnes on
July 6th. Honest filly who is in the mix
3. EAGLE MOUNT – Nice 3rd last time over 2200m at this track on June 22nd in a handicap. Can
make an impact
4. SAHARA GOLD – Unplaced on her last two runs, a win before that over 2700m at Le Touquet
on July 1st. Holds an each-way chance
5. XILOFONO – Won at this track last time over 2400m in a maiden race on July 28th. Handicap
debut and he merits consideration
6. ALMANSUR – Won a maiden over 3000m at Mont-De-Marsan on July 19th when last racing.
Uncertain the drop back in trip will play to his strengths
7. GOLDEN FLASH – Won last time at Vichy over 2400m in a claimer on July 24th. Lightly raced
and has a bit more progress to come
8. DAYAL – Two unplaced runs of late, won a maiden before that at Tarbes over 2300m on April
20th. Has an outside place chance
9. ES XARCU – Credible 4th last time in a maiden over 2400m at this track on July 28th. Hard to
dismiss from the frame
10. LAYE CHOPE – Has four unplaced runs since she won a claimer at Bordeaux Le Bouscat
over 1900m on April 1st. Opposable
Summary: EAGLE MOUNT (3) ran a good race when third at this track last month in a handicap
and had some good form before that. She is given marginal preference to BLOU LAGOON (1)
who has faired well on her last three runs, the latter two in handicaps and a solid effort when third
in a Class 2 race at Tarbes in early June. She can make her rivals work hard. SILLABUB (2) and
recent course winner XILOFONO (5) can fight it out for minor honours.

1. FANG MICH – Won her second race at Dresde (DEU) on June 15th over 2000m. Lightly raced
and ought to be in the shake-up
2. SWING CITY – Unplaced last time, won at Dax before that in a Class 2 race over 2100m on
June 2nd. Faces a tough test
3. CI MER – Ran a solid race when fourth in a Group 3 race at Chantilly on July 14th over 1800m
and scored before that in June in a maiden. Looks to be improving and is hard to dismiss
4. INSTANTANEMENT – 2nd last time over 1800m in a handicap at this track on August 6th.
Makes limited appeal
5. JUNEBERRY – Fair 2nd last time over 2200m at Kempton Park (GBR) on July 4th. First run in
France and she is one to watch for any support in the betting
6. PARTIR – Unplaced last time, won a Class 2 race before that over 1600m at Bordeaux Le
Bouscat on May 16th. Each way angle
7. BALTIC EMPRESS – Won a maiden last time over 1600m at Compiegne on July 22nd. An
honest filly who deserves a crack at a Listed race
8. ALPHABIA – Won her last two races, the most recent at this track in a handicap on August 6th
over 1800m. Unlikely to feaure
9. SOFT WINDS – 5th last time in a Listed race at Deauville over 2000m on August 11th. Might
find a few of these too smart
10. WINTER SNOWFALL – Unplaced last time in a Listed race at Newmarket (GBR) on May 5th.
Makes her French debut and others rate higher
11. WALDORA – 3rd last time over 2000m in a Listed race at Vichy on July 19th. Holds outside
place claims
12. GOLIGHTLY – Two good 2nd placed runs of late, the latter over 1600m in a Class 2 race at
Clairefontaine on July 11th. Seems to be improving and is one to consider
13. JULICA – Decent 3rd in a Listed race at this track over 1600m on July 21st when last
appearing. Won twice at this track last year and is hard to ignore
14. SANS VOIX – Won a Class 3 race at Vichy over 1600m on August 15th when last appearing.
Has struggled when upped into this grade previously
15. ZUNA – Unplaced last time in a Listed race, she won before that at Parislogchamp over
1800m on June 13th in a handicap. Can not be overlooked
Summary: JULICA (13) won twice at this track last year and was a good third in a Listed race at
this venue in late July in a Listed race when last racing. She looks like the one to beat. CI MER
(3) is a danger, she was a good fourth in a Group 3 race last time in mid-July and is progressive.
PARTIR (6) has won twice this year and although she did not feature in a Listed race last time
she can be given another chance to redeem herself. GOLIGHTLY (12) heads the remainder.
