time but others make more appeal
2. GIUSEPPE BALLOCCO – 3rd last time in a Class 2 race at Deauville over 1500m on August
13th, which was an improved performance. Has outside place claims
3. NUIT DE L’HOMME – 2nd on his last two starts, the latest at Vichy over 1400m in a claimer on
August 14th. Place chance
4. OUTRENOIR – Unplaced last time in a Class 2 race at Saint-Malo on August 8th over 1600m,
3rd before that in late July at Vittel in a maiden. Opposable
5. ALKIDAN – A gelded son of New Bay, the dam was placed. From a stable who can ready one
to strike at the first time of asking. The betting can be the best guide
6. DREAMLINER – Unraced colt by Adlerflug, the dam won two Listed races and was a useful
performer. Can be expected to put up a bold show on his debut
7. QUINTEPLUS – Newcomer by Telecaster, the dam never raced. His half-sister won at Listed
Class, from a wise trainer who will have this gelding well tuned. Can feature
Summary: DREAMLINER (6) has a choice profile, his dam was a useful filly who won twice in
Listed Class races and this colt can be expected to play a lead role on his debut. QUINTEPLUS
(7) is a half-brother to a winner of a Listed race and his astute handler will have him primed and
ready for his first day at school. ALKIDAN (5) is also making his debut and the betting can be a
good guide to his chance of success. NUIT DE L’HOMME (3) has placed form in claimers and
warrants respect.
SELECTIONS

Well beaten on the latest run and needs vast improvement to be involved
2. ZIA AGNESE – 5th last time on her second start at Le Lion D’Angers over 1400m on August
9th. Hard to recommend
3. LANTANA – Decent 4th on her debut over 1500m at Deauville on July 28th. Can improve and

she is improving and can make the top three
7. MILLE MERCI – Unraced Wootton Bassett filly, the dam won one race. Looks good on paper
and can not be overlooked. Any market support should be noted
8. SHOWGA – Unraced by Galiway, the dam won one race on her debut. Has a a nice profile and
her trainer can ready a debutante. Watch the betting patterns
9. POWER’S PRINCESS – Newcomer by Slade Power, the dam won one race. Will likely need
this run. Any market support will be informative
10. MADAM SECRETARY – Well-bred filly by Sea The Moon, the dam never raced. Can be
expected to be nicely prepared by her trainer and is one to watch in the betting for clues
Summary: LANTANA (3) showed promise on her debut at Deauville when she was fourth and
will be more streetwise this time. She is preferred to another promising type in GEZORA (4) who
was fourth on her sole run over 1400m at Dieppe in July and was not beaten far by the winner
that day. SHOWGA (8) looks good on paper and can be expected to be on the premises on her
debut. SPRING LILY (6) showed improved form when third on her second start and heads the
remainder.
SELECTIONS
LANTANA (3) – GEZORA (4) – SHOWGA (8) – SPRING LILY (6)

1. ALERIO – Won at Dieppe over 2400m in a Class 4 claimer on August 21st when last seen. Will
not lack for fitness and can make presence felt
2. TOLLEVAST – Did well when 3rd at San Sebastian (ESP) over 2000m on his sole run this year
on August 4th. Will improve from that and is hard to ignore
3. HONGUEMARE – Two unplaced runs of late, 3rd before that at Saint-Cloud over 2000m in a
Class 2 handicap on June 17th. Capable of being in the frame
4. GRAND LIBYA – Unplaced on his latest run over 2200m at Dieppe in a Class 3 race on August
5th. Placed last year in the the UK. Others preferred
5. BAVARIA IRON – 4th on his latest start over 1500m in a Class 3 claimer at Deauville on

race. One to pay attention too
7. INDIAN PACIFIC – Nice 3rd on his return run of this year over 1900m at Deauville in a claimer
on the PSF on August 8th. He will be sharper this time and hold leading claims
8. DAPANGO – Has four unplaced runs this year, the most recent over 1600m in a Group 3 race
at Dusseldorf (DEU) on August 4th. Big drop in class but seems out of form
9. ODEMAR – Decent 2nd last time at Chateaubriant over 1950m in a Class 4 race on July 16th.
Ought to be in the shake-up
10. AHATIS – Unplaced last time, 2nd before that at Pompadour over 1600m in a Class 4 race on
July 28th. Opposable
11. DEL CIELO – Two unplaced runs of late, the latter over 1900m in a Class 3 claimer at
Deauville on August 8th. Needs to get back on track
Summary: INDIAN PACIFIC (7) ran a good race on his first run of the year at Deauville on the
PSF on August 8th. He can step forward from that and looks like the one to be with. The main
threat could be TOLLEVAST (2) who shaped well when third recently on his debut this year after
an absence of eight months. ODEMAR (9) showed plenty when second on his latest run when he
was second at Cahteaubriant and is the each-way must. ALERIO (1) won recently and can not be
overlooked.
SELECTIONS
INDIAN PACIFIC (7) – TOLLEVAST (2) – ODEMAR (9) – ALERIO (1)
C4 – PRIX BON MOT – 1800m (a1m1/8) – TURF – Maiden Race – Flat – EUR € 22,000
1. MASSIMO MERIDIO – Good 2nd last time over 1800m on his third start at Clairefontaine on
July 31st. Improving and should be good enough to win

23rd. Can make the top four
3. ACOTANGO – Promise when 5th on his debut over 1800m at Dieppe on July 29th. Can only
improve for that experience and ought to be thereabouts
4. KRASHA – 4th on her latest run at Aix-Les-Bains over 1800m on July 9th. Much more is
needed to be competitive
5. FORCEFULL – Unplaced last time, 4th before that over 1400m on her debut at Compiegne on
July 9th. Up in trip but others are preferred
6. IRIDIA – Credible 3rd last time over 1600m at Compiegne on July 22nd. Should like this slightly
longer distance
7. LERFAL – Unplaced last time after a promising 4th on her debut at Le Mans over 2300m on
April 23rd. Drop in trip may not play to her strengths
8. CHICA DE CIUDAD – Placed 3rd on both of her runs, the most recent over 1800m at
Clairefontaine on July 31st. Player
9. GRIGNETTE – Two unplaced runs so far, the latter over 2500m at Saint-Malo on July 24th.
Needs a few of these to falter
10. STARS AND AWAY – Fair 4th last time over 1950m at Chateaubriant on July 16th. Can once
again have a say
11. ALLIXWAVE DE CERES – 6th on her sole start over 2000m at Compiegne on June 12th.
Should know more this time around but has work to do
12. PEPITO DES CARLES – Newcomer by Born To Sea, stable runners tend to need a run or
two for experience. Watch the betting for any support
13. BRAVE EVAN – Newcomer by Brave Mansonnien, will likely require this run for experience.
Monitor the betting market for any support
Summary: MASSIMO MERIDIO (1) has shaped well on all three of his runs so far. He was
second at Clairefontaine at the end of last month and should score from old rival CHICA DE
CIUDAD (8) who was third in the same race last time. She has less than a length to find so can
make things interesting. STARS AND AWAY (10) has been placed on most of her runs and looks
like the logical each-way option in this. PROMETHEUS (2) is also worth considering.
SELECTIONS
MASSIMO MERIDIO (1) – CHICA DE CIUDAD (8) – STARS AND AWAY (10) –
PROMETHEUS (2)
C5 – PRIX DU QUEBEC – 2400m (a1m1/2) – TURF – Maiden Race – Flat – EUR € 22,000
1. HIGH SOCIETY – Unplaced on his sole run over 1800m at Dieppe on July 29th. Bred to be
smart so should improve from that debut run
2. WAKANDA TANGO – 7th on his only run over 2400m at Clairefontaine on August 9th. Should
improve and is one to watch in the betting for any support
3. MAITRE DE CHANT – Unplaced on both of his runs, the latter over 1800m at Clairefontaine on
July 11th. The step up in distance can bring out a more competitive run
4. ALPAMAYO – Nice debut 4th at Dieppe over 1800m on July 29th. Steps up in trip from that run
and with improvement he warrants respect
5. GUARDIAN – 5th last time over 2000m at Compiegne on July 22nd on his second start. One to
keep safe
6. QUAI BLERIOT – Unplaced on both of his runs so far, the latter over 1800m at Clairefontaine
on July 31st. Has to show a good deal more to feature
7. BORN TO WIN – Unplaced last time, 3rd before that at Saint-Cloud over 2400m on May 20th.
Looks vulnerable
8. THE STRIKING VIKING – Ran a good race when 4th over 2400m at Clairefontaine on August
9th on his debut. Will know more this time as in the mix
9. DSCHINGIS DRAGON – Two good 2nd placed runs so far, the most recent was over 2400m at
Clairefontaine on August 2nd. Looks ready to win
10. CLOUDFALL – Unplaced on his sole start over 2400m at Clairefontaine on August 9th. Best
watched for now
11. COSMIC FRONT – Two runs so far, the latter over 2000m at Lyon Parilly when she was again
unplaced on June 8th. Might be one for handicaps further down the line
12. SUMMER BREEZE – Showed improvement when 3rd at Clairefontaine over 2400m on
August 2nd in the same race as DSCHINGIS DRAGON (9) was 2nd in. Ought to be in the shakeup
13. BRODURE – 4th at Clairefontaine over 2400m on August 2nd in the same race as a couple of
today’s rivals recently. Has place claims
Summary: This could be between two fillies who met recently at Clairefontaine when they were
second and third that day. DSCHINGIS DRAGON (9) was under a length ahead of SUMMER
BREEZE (12) and the marginal vote goes to the former. Both of them have only had two runs and
can keep improving. ALPAMAYO (4) made a pleasing debut when he was fourth and can make
his rivals work hard for success. GUARDIAN (5) should like this step up in trip and can not be
overlooked.

DSCHINGIS DRAGON (9) – SUMMER BREEZE (12) – ALPAMAYO (4) – GUARDIAN (5)
