contender for top honours
5. BARE ELEGANCE – Finished 5th over 1600m in a claimer at this track and can get much closer.
Strong place chance
6. BAK’S WOOD – Placed 4th over 1800m at Langon-Libourne on the 9th of June and will need to do
much more than that for the win. Unlikely
7. KHELREGAL – Cannot be fancied on current declining form over various distances. Pass by
8. DELIA CHOPE – Will need to progress on recent effort when 7th over 1400m at La Teste and others
are far preferred. Unlikely winner
Summary: BERIA (4) ran an absolute cracker in her local debut when 3rd at this track over 1600m.
She is the firm first choice. GODESSA (1) comes into the race fresh of a victory at this course and can
certainly follow up. BARE ELEGANCE (5) is catching the eye and looks cherry ripe for the maiden
victory. She should go very close to getting it all right. DELIA CHOPE (8) is one for the shortlist and a
definite for the minor positions.

5. MORANDI FIRST – Unplaced in a Handicap at ParisLongchamp over 2400m on 13 June. Ignore the
latest effort. Won two in a row before that and can be competitive
6. PIANO MAN – A winner of a Claimer at this track over 2000m on 5 July. He has confidence of the
latest victory but will find this tougher
7. LUNATICOS – A runner up in a Handicap at La Teste-du-Buch over 2000m on 21 July. The last two
efforts in Handicap company have been good and can be involved again
8. QUIEN SABE – Finished 6th at Madrid over 3000m on 12 May. Yet to win a race and the only attempt
in Handicap company was poor
Summary: DIANE’STAR (4) was well beaten last time out at Dieppe but this is a weaker race and she
can bounce back to score. MEXICAN DREAM (2) was not disgraced last time out and gets on with this
rider so could be a threat. MORANDI FIRST (5) won twice in a row before the disappointing last run
and deserves the utmost respect. LUNATICOS (7) has been in good shape of late and is not out of it.

6. MAGICAL HOPE – A winner in a Conditions race at Lyon-Parilly over 2200m on 24 June. She won
her maiden well and could have more to come
Summary: NARANCO (4) has not been seen since winning a GR.3. in September but of fit and well he
may well be better than these rivals on the day. CAMBRONNE (3) is also returning from a break and
deserves some respect. MAGICAL HOPE (6) could have more to offer and will be a fit horse. SWISS
BANK (2) has handicap form and could make the frame.

to latch on to. TENDER THOUGHTS (16) has a low weight and can also make the top four in this open
