finish once again with improvement likely
3. THE HUMMINGBIRD – Did not show much on debut when tenth in a Conditions race at
Compiègne over 1400m on 22 June. Capable of improvement in this division
4. MUSE DES BRIERES – A two-year-old filly by Birchwood out of Equilady who is making her
debut. Watch the betting
5. LAHOMI – Has not run too badly in Claimers and was 5th last time out at Chantilly over 1200m
on 29 June. Should fight out the finish
6. FICTION – Showed what she is capable of when winning a Claimer at Angers over 1350m on
20 June. Can follow up if in the same mood
Summary: FICTION (6) looked good when scoring in this division in June. She can follow up as
she did beat rival in this LAHOMI (5) and is better off at the weights. LAHOMI (5) has some fair
form in claimers and looks likely to fight out the finish yet again. NEW WAY BABY (1) has won
twice in this division but did flop last time out. GIUSEPPE BALLOCCO (2) was not disgraced
when third on debut in Germany and deserves respect.

2100m on 8 July. Can go one better this time

Châteaubriant over 1950m on 3 June. Could be the surprise package of the race this distance
5. COLT PILOT – Yet to win a race and was 9th last time out in a handicap at Le Touquet over

6. TOP SPIN – Has not shown much so far and was tenth last time out in a Conditions race at
Angers over 2300m on 20 June. Capable of improvement dropped to this division
7. DEESSE JOSAPHA – Showed some improvement when 5th last time out in a Conditions
hurdle at Erbray over 3800m on 7 July. Can improve trying the flat
8. FRENCH GIRL EFFECT – Disappointing form in claimers and was tenth last time out in a
handicap at Clairefontaine-Deauville over 1800m on 28 June. Place chance on best form
9. LADY LAWA – Well beaten on debut in a Conditions race at Clairefontaine-Deauville over
1800m on 28 June. Capable of improvement in this division
10. DONA PEJITA – Showed some improvement when fourth last time out in a Conditions race at
Limoges over 2100m on 9 June. Can earn some more money
Summary: L’INITIE (1) did not show his best last time out in a handicap but will have
cheekpieces again and did run well in his penultimate start. This is his first shot at a claimer.
BLUES SINGER (3) has been good in this division and should be right there at the finish. RED
IRIS (4) was only moderate last time out but should improve for the trip. TOP SPIN (6) is another
that could improve dropped in division.

20 June. Can improve further on handicap debut
4. REVALITE – Much improved this year and was fourth last time out in a handicap at Nantes
over 2400m on 18 June. Should fight out the finish once again
5. MEISHO BONHEUR – Improving and was runner-up last time out in a Conditions race at
Royan La Palmyre over 2900m on 2 June. Can contest the finish
6. DYLAN’S SPIRIT – Did not show her best when well beaten last time out in a Conditions race
at Angers over 2300m on 20 June. Good form before that and has a winning chance on handicap
debut
7. GRAND LILI – Unreliable and was 9th last time out in a handicap at ParisLongchamp over
2200m on 22 June. Capable of popping up in a place when in the mood
8. JULIE ANAIS – Unreliable but did show her best when scoring a handicap win at Le Touquet
over 2100m on 1 July. Carries a 2kg penalty for that win but is not out of it
9. SEWRA – Has not shown much in three starts and was 11th last time out in a Conditions race
at Chantilly over 1600m on 22 December. Capable of improvement om handicap debut but is
returning from a lengthy break
10. HEAREN – Disappointing of late and was 8th last time out in a handicap at Chantilly over
2400m on 29 June. Capable of better but others are preferred
11. ROCKMOONLADY – Disappointing last run when 5th in Climer at Lyon-Parilly over 2400m
on 8 June. Capable of better and has a place chance on handicap debut
Summary: MEISHO BONHEUR (5) is improving and could go one better on the good runner-up
performances at Royan La Palmyre last month. REVALITE (4) has improved this year and will not
go down too easily. LUMINESCE (2) is on the up and has knocked loudly in claimers of late so
deserves some respect. JULIE ANAIS (8) showed improvement when winning last time out and is
not out of it.

8. UMAMI – A two-year-old filly by Kodiac out of Cry Baby who is making her debut. Watch the

9. SEND WOOD – A two-year-old filly by Al Wukair out of Lady Wood who is making her debut.

Summary: An interesting race where the newcomers could do best. CERES (11) is a well-bred
filly from a powerful yard and could be ready to score on debut. UMINEKO (10) also catches the
eye on breeding and could be the biggest threat. JACQUEMINE (2) showed promise on debut
and should have more to offer and will prefer this slightly longer distance. TELCHERBOLINE (1)
was not disgraced first time out and is another to consider.

6. KENMADA – Has run twice, the latest when unplaced at Le Lion D’ Angers over 1400m on
June 9th. Can make the frame
7. RASTRELLARE – 6th on the sole start over 1400m at Compiegne on June 22nd. Should
improve and has outside place claims
8. CAP HORN – Well beaten on the sole start over 1300m at Craon on June 10th. Needs vast
improvement to feature
9. SHADOW BAN – Newcomer by New Bay, looks the part on paper and will be nicely tuned for
a bold show on his debut. Watch the betting
10. CAZADERO – Unraced gelding by Le Brivido, the dam won once. Stable runners warrant
respect on debut. Should play a prominent role
11. FIREMAN – Unraced colt by Too Darn Hot, the dam won twice including a Listed race in Italy.
Should know his job and any market support should be noted
12. MON BLACK DU LIVET – Newcomer by Attendu, will likely need this experience and should
be watched in the betting for and support
Summary: LIBYAN PHAROAH (5) was a good second at Chantilly over 1400m on June 26th on
his last start. He should be too smart for his rivals. His main danger looks to be BURN TO SHINE
(4) who has shown promise in two runs so far, the latest when fourth at Chantilly in the same race
as the selection. SHADOW BAN (9) looks the part on paper and will be nicely tuned for a bold
show on his debut. FIREMAN (11) also has a nice profile and could be anything.

3rd at Chantilly on June 26th. He has a leading chance of scoring this time. PARAMECIUM (7)
was a good second last time at Saint-Cloud over 1400m in mid-June and looks a good prospect.
HAYA LAND (9) looks good on paper and is bred to be useful. He is one to watch for any market
support. GOOD SPEED (4) can improve for a fourth on debut and looks best of the remainder.
