R1 – PRIX BAOBAB – PRIX DE SAINT-INNOCENT – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Class 3 Race – Flat – EUR € 15,000

1. SPIRIT GREY – Two unplaced runs of late over hurdles, he won before that on the PSF on
April 5th in a Class 3 race. Others make more appeal
2. BRANDYWINE – Two unplaced runs of late, 2nd before that over 1900m in a Class 3 race at
Chantilly on April 26th. In the mix
3. DIRE LA VERITE – He won on debut and was a good third on his penultimate race at Chantilly
in a Class 1 race over 1900m in late October last year. He can not be overlooked
4. EUBOA – Nice 3rd last time over 2100m at Parislongchamp on June 13th in a Class 3 race.
Holds a leading chance of winning
5. KYNADA – 5th last time over 2000m at Vitteaux in a Class 4 race on July 7th. Looks out of
form and best watched
6. SWEET DIANA – 4th last time over 1600m in a Class 4 race at Chatillon on May 10th. Needs a
few to falter
7. ROMANTIC SCENE – Unplaced last time in a Class 3 race on June 13th, will be sharper for
that run and did win twice last year. Can not be ruled out

Summary: EUBOA (4) is an honest performer and was a nice third last time over 2100m at
Parislongchamp on June 13th in a Class 3 race. She holds a leading chance of winning. DIRE LA
VERITE (3) is lightly raced and has plenty more to come. He won on debut and was a good third
on his penultimate race at Chantilly in a Class 1 race over 1900m in late October last year. He
can not be overlooked. ROMANTIC SCENE (7) and BRANDYWINE (2) look destined to fight it
out for minor honours.

Summary: SILAWI (4) can get back on track in this Class 2 event. He is a capable performer on
his day and should be too smart for his rivals. His main danger could be RAVIOLI (1) who was a
fair third last time in a Listed race at Milan (ITA) over 1600m on June 9th. She will be competitive.
ROCQUEMONT (3) won a competitive handicap three starts ago at Marseille Borely and also
enters calculations.

Summary: GREEN CAPE (5) is well-bred and represents the very formidable team of Andre
Fabre and Mickaël Barzalona. It is hard to look past this as the opening event winner. HARVEY
(9) could be a threat on debut and deserves some respect. SCANDALO (8) is bred to sprint and
should be concerned with the finish. NEUSCHWANSTEIN (4) is another that could contest the
finish.

June 15th over 3150m. She holds leading claims of scoring. JONH FOR ALWAYS (2) will have a
leading role to play, he is seeking a hat-trick of wins after a course win last time over 2500m in a
Class 4 handicap late last month. MOMOUR (5) was second last time in the same race as JONH
FOR ALWAYS (2) and is slightly better off today at the weights. LE HOULME (7) is also worth a
mention.

KHADIDJA (8) has a decent pedigree and deserves consideration. SCARLET VALENTINE (5)
can also contest the finish.

6. SHANNKIYR – Showed some improvement when 5th last time out in a handicap over this track
and trip on 16 June. Can do even better this time
7. NEPALAIS – In good shape and was third in a handicap last time out over this course and
distance on 16 June. Be right there at the finish once again
8. MR CASSIOPE – Disappointing form of late and was 7th last time out in a handicap at
ParisLongchamp over 2000m on 9 June. Needs to do more to win this race
9. COSMO BEAU – Fair form this year and was 6th last time out in a handicap at
ParisLongchamp over 2000m on 9 June. Capable of making the frame
10. HIGHBARI – Better over a bit shorter and was 5th last time out in a handicap at La Teste-deBuch over this distance on 27 June. Could play a minor role
11. SULEYMAN – Finished 7th last time out in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 4 June
on comeback run. Has scope for improvement and could score
12. STORM CITY – Returned from a break and was runner-up in a Claimer at Saint-Cloud over
1600m on 11 June. Might play a minor role
13. EDITED – Has lost his way of late and was 5th last time out in a claimer at Salon-de-Provence
over this distance on 25 June. Others are much preferred
14. NORTH HUNTER – Disappointing form of late and was tenth last time out in a handicap at
ParisLongchamp over 2000m on 9 June. Others are preferred
15. HONGUEMARE – In good form and was third last time out in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over
2000m on 17 June. Has not won since 2022 but can earn some money
16. BOBBYMURPHY – Unreliable but did score in a handicap last time out at Lyon-Parilly over
2000m on 24 June. Carries a 3kg penalty but has a place chance

Summary: A very open-looking handicap and only a few of them can safely be ruled out from
winning. SULEYMAN (11) tried the grass for the first time last time out and should improve, This
longer distance could suit him. SHANNKIYR (6) showed improvement over this track and trip last
time out and should have more to offer this time. NEPALAIS (7) liked this course and distance
last time out and is clearly not out of it. TROPISME (4) will strip fitter this time and could score.

honest and must be respected. SEKKU (10) showed some signs of a form return last time and

Summary: SKELLET (5) flopped in both GR.1. attempts this year but could bounce back and
score this time dropped to a GR.3. LUIZA BERE (1) finished off the race well last time out and is
improving. She could be a lively danger. L’EQUILIBRISTE (6) has won twice over this distance
and can fight out the finish once again. SOME SKYE (2) has yet to win a race but is consistent
and could make the frame.

June. Capable of improvement but others are preferred
5. CONVO – Did not show her best when well beaten last time out in a GR.3 at Ascot over this
distance on 21 June. Capable of better and has a place chance
6. CELANDINE – She is improving and has won her last two starts, with the latest being a Listed
race at Newmarket over this distance on 29 June. Deserves the utmost respect
7. KORISA – Has won three of her four races in Italy, with the latest being at Milan over this
distance on 23 June. Tougher task this time but may well be up to it

Summary: No French-trained runner and only one Italian filly faces six raiders from UK. ARABIE
(2) is improving and won well over this track and trip last month. AN OUTLAW’S GRACE (3)
looked good when winning on debut in the UK and should be a threat. CELANDINE (6) is
improving and has every chance of completing her hat-trick. KORISA (7) has won three of her
four starts in Italy and could be anything.
