VENETIAN MOONLIGHT lacks extra when she really needs it most but could earn some money. VINTAGE CRYSTAL liked the Polytrack last time and should be right there at the finish. RAIN BIRD is unreliable but could play a minor role. DOUBLE TRADE tries blinkers and could surprise. DIRTY MIMOSA and PRINCESS RAYA are also capable of a minor place.

Race Summary: Trainer Gavin Smith could hold a decent hand in this weak race. RUN FOR ME is a disappointment as he has been costly to follow but could be a bit better than these rivals if he shows his best form. TORRONE ran well on local debut but failed to reproduce it last time. He is a danger. PORTCULLIS was not disgraced on local debut and could do even better this time trying the Polytrack. MAXIGIRL has improved with each run and can get into the mix of things. MY TRUE LOVE has struggled of late but does have a place chance

Race Summary: Another very weak race. WOLFRAM has yet to win after 22 starts but does like this course and distance and could finally score. DANCE MO is improving and should be right there at the finish once again. PETTEIA has been a bit disappointing of late but could like this longer distance and deserves the utmost respect. HE’S A GAUL does seem best on the turf but cannot be dismissed away from winning in this company.

Race Summary: GIVE US A SMILE has not been beaten far in his recent starts and holds a winning chance. REGAZZO GRANDE looked to be going nowhere until blinkers were applied and he has made significant improvement. He may well follow up on his maiden win. KANIMAMBO won on local debut when trying this surface and could have more to offer. ELLIS ISLAND is probably best on the turf but could try start-to-finish tactics. THE INKOSANA and JOSI MO are also in with a chance.

STATE OF MIND has not won for some time now but would not be a surprise winner. ON THE GUEST LIST has been a disappointment of late and may be better on the grass but has Fourie aboard so deserves respect. SKY VELOCITY may be better on the turf but has a place chance. LOVE SONG beat a weak field last time out but could have more to offer. SOFT TOUCH has been fair of late and is not out of it.

Race Summary: A tough race for exotic players. GODFATHER has been given some soft rides since moving to the Eastern Cape and is capable of winning. MEETATTHEWINDSOR has been disappointing of late but is not out of it. REACH FORTHE STARS has not been beaten by far in a couple of recent races and could contest the finish. WIND SOCK is unreliable but can earn some more money. MALDANO ran well last time out and can do even better this time. ADIOS AMIGOS, GREAT TIMES and MEENEERA can all be included in large Pick 6 permutations.

Race Summary: Another very open-looking race and it may pay to go wide in the Pick 6 once again. ARTURO is in good form but does battle to actually win. CHARLIE MALONE has been very unlucky of late and is capable of winning. MORNING CHESS has not been beaten by far in better races than this recently. IRONTAIL is in good form and is well drawn. RUSSIAN EMPIRE is unreliable but can win. JOYOUS JUBILEE and DUKE OF ORANGE are also capable of troubling the judge.

Race Summary: DAWN OF GOLD was beaten by an improving filly last time out and is a course-and-distance winner. She is the one to be with. BYTHELITEOFTHEMOON took a long time to get out of the maiden ranks but deserves a modicum of respect. ANGELSEA can be a threat when in the mood. PROJECT RUNWAY showed of what she is capable with a good win last time out. The runner-up was a very easy winner earlier this month as well. COLORAMA likes this surface and ran a cracker last time out but has been unreliable of late.
