BRIGHT FUTURE has been beaten in some better fields than this in the Western Cape and could improve. NIKES RAY OF LIGHT has shown improvement with each start and can get involved with the finish once again. UNION ROSE was not disgraced in his second start and has a place chance. FIRST WISH ran well on debut and should contest the finish.

Race Summary: It will be interesting to see how many actually start in this race. Three of them are carded to have run last Friday so that form needs to be looked at. Jockey Richard Fourie is carded to ride FANTASY GIRL so all eyes will be on her and she could bounce back from a disappointing last effort. CONFETTI could win on 14 June but also has a winning chance if appearing for this, as does EXTRACTION. GINGER PALACE showed good improvement last time out and should do even better this time around.

SEPTEMBER FLOWER was given a soft introduction to racing and now on the turf could show vast improvement and may well be a bit better than these battling maidens. GOTCHA BUZZ is battling to get out of the maiden ranks but can contest the finish if in the mood. STRING OF LIGHTS is in good form but does battle to finish off her races. BELLA ATTRICE is speedy but lacks extra late. PONTE VECCHIO is unreliable but has a place chance. TARTAN QUEEN showed improvement last time and could could be a lively danger.

Race Summary: A competitive field of battling maidens. KING OF QUEEN keeps running second but deserves a win. WILLIAM’S LEGACY disappointed last time out but should do better over this course and distance. SPECMAGIC is improving and is clearly not out of it. HAT HOT HAT could play a minor role. GOLD GUNNER makes a local debut and could show vast improvement. STATESMAN was not disgraced on local debut and could like it back on the turf this time. TYRONS VISION and MISTER SPEAKER are two others that should be included in large Pick 6 permutations.

SLAINTE MHATH is improving and should run another decent race.

Race Summary: A tough race for the exotics and you may well be best advised to include as many as possible in the Pick 6. SCAMPTON is well drawn and in good form. Stable companions LAUNCH CODE and FUJISAN are coming off solid wins and deserve respect. SAND BANK raced wide last time and that run is best ignored, but he is drawn out wide once again. SILVER TYCOON is improving and jumps from a decent draw. More was expected from OUTER DIMENSION last time out so he could bounce back to be a threat. DESTINY’S ANGEL is capable of better than his last run would suggest.

This filly is much improved of late and can follow up on a very easy last win. AS FATE HAS IT won a good race last time out but got a 6-point penalty for that win. TREASURE HUNT ran well above her rating last time out and is clearly not out of it. UNYIELDING is never too far behind and has a place chance. GLOBAL RUSH and SUN SPECTACULAR could surprise.

Race Summary: The normal big field, last race nightmare for punters. SON OF ZEUS clearly needed the last run. This 1000m may be on the sharp side for him but he will be doing his best work at the finish. TUSCAN GOLD is speedy and should contest the finish. More was expected of SIBERIAN STEEL in his two local runs but he does look the one to beat in this line-up. FOREST SPY has regained his best form and is not out of it. CAPTAIN TIK TOK is having a good time of things and could earn some more money. GRADUATION TIME and RAPTOR ISLAND have plenty of early toe and are also not out of it.
