Race Preview

R1 – PRIX BEGC (PRIX MG MOTOR NANTES) – 2400m (a1m1/2) – TURF – Handicap – Flat – EUR € 20,000

1. WAR OF THE ROSES – Disappointing last run when 7th in a handicap over this track and trip
on 30 May. In good form before that and is not out of it
2. MISS INCOGNITO – Not disgraced on handicap debut when 5th over this course and distance
on 30 May. Can contest the finish
3. STELLO TALLY – Unreliable and was 9th last time out in a Conditions race at Châteaubriant
over 1950m on 3 June. Capable of popping up in a place
4. REVALITE – Looked much improved this year when scoring in a Conditions race at
Châteaubriant over 2650m on 12 May. Deserves respect for that win and can follow up
5. BETTER TOMORROW – Showed some improvement when third in a Conditions race at Dieppe
over 2200m on 29 May. Only modest in two handicaps before that. Might play a minor role
6. TENYEARSAFTER – Did not show his best when 7th last time out in a handicap at Le Liond’Angers over 2000m on 23 May. More is needed to win this race
7. TOUQUETOISE – Much improved of late and is hat-trick-seeking after some nice wins, with the
latest being a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 2000m on 10 May. Carries a 3kg penalty but could
follow up
8. QUEEN’S ANGEL – Did not run badly when 5th on handicap debut when 5th at SenonnesPouancé over 2100m on 23 March. Capable of making the frame
9. LOVE MARIA – Well beaten in both starts this year, including when 8th last time out in a
Conditions race at Nort-sur-Erdre over 1800m on 2 June, Tries a handicap but others are preferred
10. LADYSHOW – Yet to win a race but has been consistent this year and was third last time out
in a Conditions race at ParisLongchamp over 2000m on 30 May. Should fight out the finish once
again
11. SAUVIAC – Yet to win a race but was third last time out in a handicap at Argentan over 2500m
on 5 June. Could earn some more money
12. LIANE – Unreliable and was 8th last time out in a Conditions race at Marseille-Borély over
2100m on 31 May. Might place

Summary: A competitive handicap. REVALITE (4) won very nicely last time out and could follow
up on handicap debut. LADYSHOW (10) has been good without winning so far and should be right
there at the finish once again. WAR OF THE ROSES (1) was a disappointment last time out but is
clearly not out of it. MISS INCOGNITO (2) did not run badly on handicap debut and could do even
better this time.

1. GIFT OF THE G – Has lost his way of late and he was a well-beaten 12th last time out in a
handicap at La Teste-de-Buch over 1600m on 3 June. Capable of an upset on best form
2. LUNATICOS – Very consistent of late and was third last time out in a handicap at Châteaubriant
over 1950m on 3 June. Capable of making the frame
3. MYBOYFRIEND – Disappointing form of late and was 9th last time out in a handicap at La Testede-Buch over 1100m on 17 May. Others are preferred
4. ALCOTAN – Disappointing form of late and was 12th last time out in a handicap at Compiègne
over 1600m on 24 May. Capable of an upset on best form
5. NESR SHALGHODA – Struggling to regain best form and was 5th last time out in a handicap at
ParisLongchamp over 1300m on 6 June. Better that shorter distance but could earn some money
6. KER WELEN – In good form this year and was victorious last time out in a handicap over this
track nd trip on 30 May. Carries a 3kg penalty but could follow up
7. REGALIEN – On a very long losing run and was 7th last time out in a handicap at Châteaubriant
over 1950m on 3 Junes. Needs to do more to win this race
8. LA PELEMOISE – On a very long losing run but was third last time out in a Conditions race at
Saint-Brieuc over 1700m on 9 May. Distance-suited and has a place chance
9. DZARINA – Has struggled this year and was 15th last time out in a handicap at Compiegne over
this distance on 24 May. Others are much preferred
10. KIM KARALA – Unreliable and was 12th last time out in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1400m
on 20 May. Won penultimate start on the PSF and could prefer that surface
11. DELTA SPIRIT – Knocking at the door and was runner-up last time out in a handicap over this
course and distance on 30 May. Can go one better
12. AINTREEGIRL – Unreliable this year and was fourth last time out in a handicap over this course
and distance on 30 May. Can contest the finish again
13. OUI JE L ADORE – Has lost her way of late and was tenth last time out in a handicap at
Châteaubriant over 1950m on 3 June. Needs to find a few lengths to win
14. DANDY COOL – Only modest form of late and was 6th last time out in a Conditions race at
Argentan over this distance on 5 June. More is needed to win this race
15. SUPER CUTE – Struggling of late and was well beaten last time out in a handicap at La Testede-Buch over 1900m on 3 June. Others are much preferred
16. TIME TO PARLEY – Has struggled this year and was 11th last time out over this track and trip
on 30 May. Needs major improvement to win

Summary: DELTA SPIRIT (11) was beaten by rival KER WELEN (6) last time out and there should
not be much between them once again but KER WELEN (6) is not well drawn so DELTA SPIRIT
(11) gets the vote to score. AINTREEGIRL (12) was fourth in that same race and could contest the
finish again. GIFT OF THE G (1) is capable of an upset on best form but seems to have lost the
way.

1. MAROON SIX – Holding his form well and was fourth last time out in a handicap at Toulouse
over this distance on 28 May. Can contest the finish again
2. SKY POWER – Has been kept to the PSF this year and was 11th last time out in a handicap at
Chantilly over this distance on 2 May. Capable of better but others are preferred
3. PTIT PEDRO – Unreliable and was 13th last time out in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over this
distance on 4 June, Not out of it on best form
4. NOLITO – Disappointing form this year and was 11th last time out in a handicap at Saint-Cloud
over this distance on 4 June. Capable of an upset on best form
5. LE FREINAY – Showed some improvement when 5th last time out in a Conditions race at
ParisLongchamp over this distance on 30 May. Could be the surprise package of the race
6. ANTHARIS – Holding his form well and was fourth last time out in a handicap at ParisLongchamp
over this distance on 30 May. Has won over this track and trip and can score again
7. MY BLACK LADY – Returned from a break and picked up a handicap win at La Teste-de-Buch
over this distance on 3 June. Enjoyed it back on the grass and can follow up carrying a 3kg penalty
8. AROWN – Holding form and was third last time out in a handicap at Angers over this distance
on 21 May. Could play a minor role
9. DRAGONS PLEASE – Bounced back to win a claimer last time out at Angers over 1350m on 31
May. Tougher task in this line-up
10. MURCIANO – Modest form of late and was 6th last time out in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over
this distance on 14 May. Needs to do more to win this race
11. LIGHT WAKEUP – Unreliable and was 11th last time out in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over this
distance on 4 June. Others are preferred
12. LAURENT – Does win every now and and then but was 7th last time out in a handicap at Angers
over this distance on 21 May. More is needed to win this race
13. DSCHINGIS GALI – Very unreliable and was 17th last time out in a handicap at Chantilly over
this distance on 8 March. Capable of better but is hard to trust
14. PUMP PUMP JUNIOR – Disappointing form of late and was 7th last time out in a Claimer at
Chantilly over 1900m on 7 May. Others are preferred
15. ZEYZOUN – Much improved of late and is hat-trick-seeking after two handicap wins, with the
latest at Lyon-Parilly over this distance on 8 May. Carries a 3kg penalty but is not out of it
16. OXIANA – She has struggled this year and was 11th last time out in a handicap at Saint-Cloud
over 1400m on 20 May. Best watched for now

Summary: ANTHARIS (6) has won over this track and trip and is in good form. This is a very openlooking race but he will give you a run for your money. MY BLACK LADY (7) enjoyed it back on the
grass last time out and could follow up. MAROON SIX (1) is holding form and deserves respect.
PTIT PEDRO (3) is unreliable but is much better than the last run would suggest and can pop up
and score.
