Race Preview

R1 – PRIX DU PUITS D’ANTIN – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Newcomers Race – Flat – EUR € 27,000

1. PIOLI IS ON FIRE – Dam won once over 2000m and this colt is of interest from a yard that can
get them ready. Follow the market
2. BERKELEY – Dam won once over 1650m at but this son of Taj Mahal doesn’t appear as one
that could make a winning debut. The market is our best guide
3. HIGHFIELD MYSTERY – Dam had a short career with only one start over 1400m in The UK.
Respect if the market speaks in her favor
4. LORD ASRIEL D ALME – Dam was unraced and this colt seems to be one to pass by on
debut. Others inspire more confidence
5. LOCH AWE – Well bred son of Starspangledbanner who needs to be monitored carefully. Keep
an eye on the market
6. MR L’APOTHICAIRE – Dam won her first two starts over 2100m/2200m and this son of Kodiac
hails from a strong yard. Winning chance
7. LIKASA – Dam won four times from 1600m – 2000m and this filly makes quite a lot of appeal
on debut for powerful connections. Winning claims
8. ZILLIDREAM – Dam won six times from 1600m – 2100m but this filly could be in need of the
experience on debut. One to pass by
9. ALLIXWAVE DE CERES – Dam won once over 2500m and this filly makes very little appeal on
debut. Others preferred

Summary: MR L’APOTHICAIRE (6) makes plenty of appeal on paper for leading trainer and he
could make a winning debut. LIKASA (7) is a very likeable type who should be ready to hit the
ground running and needs to go into the play. PIOLI IS ON FIRE (1) and LOCH AWE (5) both
need to be kept safe if the market vibes are positive.

R2 – PRIX DE LA LAUNETTE – 2400m (a1m1/2) – TURF – Claiming – Flat – EUR € 23,000

1. MADEMOISELLE MIA – Winner over hurdles in a 3400m Class 3 contest at Lyon Parilly on the
2nd of June 2024. Can play a role back on the flat
2. DSCHINGIS DASH – Won with a bit in hand over 2900m at Durtal in a conditional event on the
2nd of June 2024. Include in the play
3. LUMINESCE – Runner up over 2400m at Dieppe in a claimer on the 29th of May 2024. Big
4. SAINTEFOY LAGRANDE – Poor run in 8th position over 2400m at Saint Cloud in a maiden on
the 14th of May 2024. Unlikely to threaten
5. SISKARO – Beaten out of sight in 10th position over 1600m at Saint Cloud on the 10th of May
2024. Would be a shock winner
6. BLUES SINGER – Finished 2nd over 2100m at Chantilly in a claimer on the 13th of January
2024. Chance on improved latest
7. PARWAZ – Son of Gleneagles who is likely to be suited by the trip but may be in need of the
experience. Follow the market
8. DSCHINGIS PUNK – No show on debut over 2200m in The Czech Republic on the 19th of May
2024. One to pass by
9. LIKING – Not seen to best effect in 11th position over 2000m at Lyon Parilly in a limited
handicap on the 1st of June 2024. Can bounce back to best
10. WARMY SUN – Not at best when finishing in 8th over 2000m at Compiegne in a divided
limited handicap on the 7th of June 2024. Place chance on best form

Summary: LUMINESCE (3) just found one too good last time out when showing a return to form
and this looks to be the ideal race for her to get the job done with weight off her back. LIKING (9)
gets the services of Maxime Guyon who could be the right man for the job on a horse that
deserves another win. DSCHINGIS DASH (2) won well and is open to more improvement which
makes him a serious player. WARMY SUN (10) is better than her last and can earn.

R3 – PRIX DE COMPIEGNE CITE IMPERIALE – 1400m (a7f) – TURF – Class 3 Divided Handicap – Flat – EUR € 22,000

1. CELTIC ARYAAN – Has been running well of late without winning, 5th last time in a Class 3
handicap on May 24th over 1600m. Player
2. PLANTHALYA – 2nd last time over 1300m at Saint-Cloud on May 25th in a Class 3 handicap.
In the mix
3. THE TIME – Won last time at Saint-Cloud over 1300m on May 25th in a Class 3 handicap. Can
make the frame
4. LA GALOPINE – Won last time at Compiegne over 1600m in a Class 4 race on June 7th. Will
not lack fitness and has solid claims
5. HEYTESBURY LANE – 2nd two runs ago on the PSF over 2000m in a Class 4 race and four
placed runs before that. Can not be overlooked
6. MAPLE GIRL – Won last time at Vichy over 1600m in a Class 4 race on May 15th. Might find
this more difficult
7. HORTENSIA BASC – Fair 4th last time over 1300m in a Class 3 handicap on May 25th at
Saint-Cloud. Consider
8. ISEULT – 3rd three runs back over 1100m in a Class 4 handicap on April 20th. Capable of
making the frame at nice odds
9. NACOMA – 2nd last time over 1600m at Waregem(BEL) on May 28th. Hard to recommend
10. FECAMP – Has several unplaced runs of late, the latter over 1300m on May 25th in a Class 3
race. Looks vulnerable
11. BLACK TRACK – Two unplaced runs of late on the flat, the latter over 1600m at this track on
May 24th in a Class 3 handicap. Pass over
12. TRUE ROMANCE – 5th last time over 1400m in a Class 4 race on May 29th, did win at SaintCloud on April 5th over 1300m. Others rate higher
13. TROIS POINT HUIT – 4th last time over 1200m in a Class 4 race on May 22nd at Evreux.
Makes limited appeal
14. UN PLUS UNE – 2nd on the last two runs, the latter over 1300m in a Class 3 handicap on
May 25th. Ought to be thereabouts
15. EL BNOUD – Three unplaced runs of late, won before that over 1350m in a Class 4 race on
May 1st. Needs more to win in a better race
16. ULTIMATE FIGHT – Fair 3rd at this track last time over 1400m in a Class 4 race on May 31st.
Has work to do
17. ZIPPERE – Two unplaced runs of late, 4th before that over 1300m at Chantilly in a Class 3
handicap on February 29th. Hard to ignore                                                                                    18. SPACE QUAKE – 5th last time over 1300m in a Class 3 handicap on May 25th at SaintCloud. Among the leading place chances

Summary: CELTIC ARYAAN (1) has top weight to contend with but has been running well of late
without a win. He is the tentative selection ahead of HEYTESBURY LANE (5) who was second
two starts ago on the PSF and placed four times before that. She can make her rivals work hard.
LA GALOPINE (4) is one for the each-way backers to latch on to. PLANTHALYA (2) is also one
to consider after a good effort when second last time at Saint-Cloud.
