Race Preview

R1 – PRIX DU PUITS D’ANTIN – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Newcomers Race – Flat – EUR € 27,000

1. PIOLI IS ON FIRE – Dam won once over 2000m and this colt is of interest from a yard that can
get them ready. Follow the market
2. BERKELEY – Dam won once over 1650m at but this son of Taj Mahal doesn’t appear as one
that could make a winning debut. The market is our best guide
3. HIGHFIELD MYSTERY – Dam had a short career with only one start over 1400m in The UK.
Respect if the market speaks in her favor
4. LORD ASRIEL D ALME – Dam was unraced and this colt seems to be one to pass by on
debut. Others inspire more confidence
5. LOCH AWE – Well bred son of Starspangledbanner who needs to be monitored carefully. Keep
an eye on the market
6. MR L’APOTHICAIRE – Dam won her first two starts over 2100m/2200m and this son of Kodiac
hails from a strong yard. Winning chance
7. LIKASA – Dam won four times from 1600m – 2000m and this filly makes quite a lot of appeal
on debut for powerful connections. Winning claims
8. ZILLIDREAM – Dam won six times from 1600m – 2100m but this filly could be in need of the
experience on debut. One to pass by
9. ALLIXWAVE DE CERES – Dam won once over 2500m and this filly makes very little appeal on
debut. Others preferred

Summary: MR L’APOTHICAIRE (6) makes plenty of appeal on paper for leading trainer and he
could make a winning debut. LIKASA (7) is a very likeable type who should be ready to hit the
ground running and needs to go into the play. PIOLI IS ON FIRE (1) and LOCH AWE (5) both
need to be kept safe if the market vibes are positive.

SELECTIONS
MR L’APOTHICAIRE (6) – LIKASA (7) – PIOLI IS ON FIRE (1) – LOCH AWE (5)

runner

the 14th of May 2024. Unlikely to threaten

2024. Chance on improved latest
7. PARWAZ – Son of Gleneagles who is likely to be suited by the trip but may be in need of the

2024. One to pass by

10. WARMY SUN – Not at best when finishing in 8th over 2000m at Compiegne in a divided
limited handicap on the 7th of June 2024. Place chance on best form

Summary: LUMINESCE (3) just found one too good last time out when showing a return to form
and this looks to be the ideal race for her to get the job done with weight off her back. LIKING (9)
gets the services of Maxime Guyon who could be the right man for the job on a horse that
deserves another win. DSCHINGIS DASH (2) won well and is open to more improvement which
makes him a serious player. WARMY SUN (10) is better than her last and can earn.

SELECTIONS
LUMINESCE (3) – LIKING (9) – DSCHINGIS DASH (2) – WARMY SUN (10)

LA GALOPINE (4) is one for the each-way backers to latch on to. PLANTHALYA (2) is also one
to consider after a good effort when second last time at Saint-Cloud.
