Race 4 No 7 Talkingtalkingguru
He showed improvement in his last start when an awkward draw forced him to travel three-wide off the pace before finishing well to take third place over 1200m at this track. The slow race tempo made his effort even more impressive.
Additionally, the winner of that race, CHEERFUL BABY, validated the form by securing a double last weekend, making him a contender worth serious consideration.
Race 5 Number 7 Pacific Atlantic
Blinkers were used for the first time in Singapore in his last start, but the gear change seemed to have an adverse effect as he raced too keenly in the lead, which left him without a finishing effort in the concluding stages. In the end, he was only beaten by 1.25 lengths into fourth position.
He will have a better chance if ridden with more patience, based on his prior winning form in Australia. He has what it takes to win a Kranji Class 4 anytime, given he was racing in much stronger races Down Under.

Race 3 Number 1 Pacific General
He has shown little interest in his last two starts on turf, a surface where he has never performed well. However, these two runs have allowed him to drop to Class 5, where he boasts an impressive record: one win and one second place from three attempts.
Race 6 Number 3 Vgor
He is well-placed to bounce back in Class 5 anytime, but his last-start no-show should be overlooked as he was slow to begin, raced wide throughout, and was never a threat. He showed he has what it takes two starts ago with a fast-finishing run into second place, while the low draw he can the provide the rider with a chance to map closer with early intent.
