Race 9 – 8 LUCKY TOUCH

This three-year-old has demonstrated potential but didn’t get the luck needed to show his best in his last start. He was slow to begin, settled at the rear, and encountered significant traffic in the home straight, resulting in a 2.75-length fourth-place fi nish. It remains uncertain if he can run a strong mile on his first attempt, but a smooth run in transit will give him the opportunity to perform well.

Race 10 – 8 SUPER GOLDI

He has been a model of consistency in six starts but since his winning debut where he broke from the innermost draw, he has since drawn no lower than barrier 9. Contrary to his debut win, where he mapped close to the lead speed, he has been ridden for luck from the wider gates thereafter because of the outer alleys, but has always been strong late. Coming into gate 4 here can provide jockey Derek Leung the opportunity to map closer and increase in his winning chances.

Race 5 – 1 DREAM PURSUER

Overlook his last start no-show on a yielding surface, as he failed to handle it, and instead focus on his prior strong form on a fi rm track, where he checked in with a fast-finishing second place behind Aeroinvincible, which is strong form here.

Race 8 – 7 STAR MAC

His last-start fourth-place finish was better than it appears. Despite starting from barrier 1, he somehow raced wide without cover throughout. He came home with the third quickest time in the final 400m and was only beaten by 2.25 lengths. A better-judged ride should spark significant improvement here.
