14th. Place chance
2. CITYLANDOR – 4th on the latest run over 1600m at Loudeac on May 11th in a maiden.
Opposable
3. CHUNKA WAKAN – Three unplaced runs of late, won before that over 1200m at Pompadour on
August 15th in a maiden race. Others preferred
4. RUN FOR HOME – Fair 5th last time at Saint-Cloud over 1600m in a claimer on May 14th. Can
have a say in proceedings
5. STORMYGO – 4th last time over 1300m at Deauville on December 15th in a handicap. Others
rate higher
6. SEDSER – Two unplaced runs of late, 3rd before that over 1350m at Senonnes on March 23rd
in a maiden. Player
7. LIBERTE – 6th last time in a Class 3 race over 1100m at Dieppe on May 13th. Will not lack for
fitness and can feature
8. JERSEY PARADISE – Unplaced on the three starts so far, has shown some talent with a credible
7th at Moulins two starts ago on April 14th over 1000m
Summary: LIBERTE (7) could be the answer to this moderate affair. She has credible form of late
and is given the vote ahead of JERSEY PARADISE (8) who has only had three starts so far
although a bit below par last time, she has ability and can be a threat. SEDSER (6) has shown
more than enough to give a good account of herself on her four runs so far. RUN FOR HOME (4)
makes up the shortlist.

R2 – PRIX RENE COUETIL – 3000m (a2m) – TURF – Class 4 Handicap – Flat – EUR € 14,000
1. MAC LA TAMBOUILLE – Won a 3400m PSF handicap in November off this mark. Ought to
improve after a much-needed comeback (11th) in a 2800m handicap at ParisLongchamp on 28
April
2. IL EST DIVIN – Caught the eye when finishing 2nd over 2850m on his reappearance in March
but has to bounce back from a disappointing 10th in a 3700m Nantes handicap on 6 May. Outsider
3. MORNING FIVE – Hard-knocking handicapper who acquitted himself well (5th) in a 2400m
conditions race at a higher level on 10 May at Saint-Cloud. Will be a factor
4. BLUE STYLE – A 17-start maiden who showed little in 4 starts on the flat and has struggled over
obstacles since. Pulled up in a 3800m hurdles race at Senonnes on 14 April
5. GOOD DES LANDES – Runner-up in a 3100m PSF handicap in December off a slightly higher
mark but soundly beaten in both her subsequent outings, the latest (12th) over 2400m on PSF at
Pornichet 2 March. Best watched for now
6. ALABAA – Last-start winner of a 2650m handicap at Châteaubriant on 12 May. Ought to remain
competitive, despite a 2,5kg penalty
7. MYKAN – Hard-knocking veteran handicapper with sound references/form credentials, including
a last-start 5th over 2500m in a handicap at Saint-Cloud on 6 May. Has obvious claims, especially
with Florent Guy in the saddle
8. TIGRE ROUGE – Bounced back to form after a disappointing (12th) previous start to finish an
improved/encouraging 3rd in a 2400m handicap at Bordeaux on 4 May. Winning chance here on
that form
9. FLIGHT DE JUILLEY – Unreliable veteran but has shown signs of improvement after dropping
considerably in the weights/ratings, confirmed as much with a respectable 6th in 1 2650m
Châteaubriant handicap on 12 May. Dark horse
10. PRINCESSE SCARLET – Inconsistent veteran mare whose best references have been
achieved at a lower level. Needs to improve to make her presence felt after a modest 6th over
2850m at Loudéac on 11 May
Summary: TIGRE ROUGE (8) has already proven his competitiveness at this level off his current
mark and, having finished an encouraging 3rd over 2400m last time, could belatedly double his
tally with the aid of his rider’s 2kg allowance. MORNING FIVE (3) is another with sound references
off his current mark so could pose a threat, while MYKAN (7) has regained momentum with each
of three comeback appearances this year and is also capable of making his presence felt with
Florent Guy engaged to ride. ALABAA (6) completes the shortlist after his recent Châteaubriant
success.
SELECTIONS
TIGRE ROUGE (8) – MORNING FIVE (3) – MYKAN (7) – ALABAA (6)
R3 – PRIX DE LA ROUSSELIERE – 2400m (a1m1/2) – TURF – Condition Race – Flat – EUR € 22,000
1. JUSTUNE STAR – Consistent for the most part and boasts solid form credentials/references,
including a comeback 2nd in a 2500m Group III. Ought to bounce back from a disappointing 11th
over 2500m at Saint-Cloud on 19 April
2. JUST A LITTLE LONE – Ultra-consistent mare, represents the formidable ‘Poggionovo-Couétil’
combination, with sound references and solid form credentials which include a last-start 2nd on
PSF over 2400m at Pornichet on 16 November
3. JESUBA – Finished an eye-catching 2nd in a 2500m Group III on her reappearance at SaintCloud on 19 April. Should have more to offer
4. JAKARTA DE FROM – Won on debut at Paray-le-Monial in November last year and returned to
winning ways at Wissembourg over 3000m on 1 May. Not taken lightly
5. JUDGELAND – Unreliable mare but isn’t incapable of getting into the picture, judged on her best
references. Finished 12th over 2500m at Saint-Cloud on 19 April when reverting to the flat
6. KEL TEL – Debut winner at Saint-Brieuc over this trip in May last year and has, for the most part,
acquitted herself well in four subsequent outings – the latest (5th) over 3000m at Angers on 22
November 2023
7. JOAQUINA DICI – Lightly raced and inconsistent mare who finished 5th in a Group I over 2400m
last year. Failed to build on an encouraging comeback (4th) when only 10th over 2500m at SaintCloud on 19 April
8. JINOV – Won on debut over 2600m at Morlaix in June last year and finished an encouraging 3rd
on her reappearance over 2850m at Loudéac on 31 March. Dark horse
9. JOIE DES OBEAUX – Pulled up in a 3700m hurdles race at Le Lion-dÁngers when returning
from a very lengthy layoff on 31 March but did show considerable promise on the flat back in 2022.
Attractive outsider
Summary: JESUBA (3) caught the eye when finishing 2nd in a 2500m Group III on her
reappearance and, with any improvement given the benefit of that comeback outing, will be hard
to beat. JUSTUNE STAR (1) was disappointing that day but did finish 2nd prior to that at Group III
level, so is likely to pose the biggest threat if reproducing a similar performance. JUST A LITTLE
LONE (2) ought to make her presence felt too if tuned up on her belated reappearance. JOAQUINA
DICI (7) finished 5th at Group I level last year so shouldn’t be underestimated either.
SELECTIONS

R4 – PRIX DU PASSAGE DE LA FLAMME OLYMPIQUE (PRIX EDMOND FORESTIER) – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Handicap – Flat – EUR € 20,000
1. BAD ROMANCE – Showed promise on debut when finishing 3rd over 2400m on PSF at
Pornichet in March but hasn’t been as effective in two subsequent starts on turf – the latest (6th)
over 2350m at Le Pin au Haras on 8 May
2. INTELLITA – Has failed to build on the promise of her debut 4th in two subsequent (unplaced)
appearances, the latest (9th) over 1800m on PSF at Chantilly on 9 December
3. SILLABUB – Consistent filly with sound references/form credentials, especially in her four starts
this year – one victory, twice 3rd (both in handicaps) and a last-start 2nd in a 1950m conditions race
at Châteaubriant on 12 May. Sets the standard
4. ROUDOUDOU – Finished an eye-catching 3rd behind BRAMANS (6) in a 2000m handicap at
Angers on 4 May. Leading light
5. TENYEARSAFTER – Didn’t finish far off the mark in three appearances before an encouraging
4th on his handicap debut over 2000m at Angers on 4 May. Keep safe
6. BRAMANS – Has improved with each turf/handicap outing and confirmed as much by finishing
2nd in a 2000m handicap at Angers on 4 May. Candidate for success
7. MADAME LYDIA – Has more experience than most and that should stand her in good stead.
Will need to improve to make her presence felt after finishing 6th over 2300m at Tarbes on 20 April
– place chance
8. ANNA MANDARA – Consistent performer on both surfaces with sound references in claimers
and conditions races, including a last-start 4th over 1800m in a conditions race at Langon on 1
May. Not taken lightly on her handicap debut
9. KENPIC – Unplaced in all 5 outings, though did show some improvement when 5th over 2400m
at La Roche-Posay on 1 May. More needed
Summary: SILLABUB (3) is enjoying a fruitful spell and, on the strength/consistency of her recent
form, is a serious candidate for success. ROUDOUDOU (4) performed well to finish 3rd at this level
last time and could prove best of the rest, though BRAMANS (6) isn’t incapable of filling the runnersup berth either after an encouraging last start (2nd). TENYEARSAFTER (5) appeals most of the
remainder.

13. SHELBYLANDOR – Finished 10th over 1000m at Dieppe in a Class 4 course qualifier on the
13th of May 2024. Unlikely winner
Summary: PUREST TIME (1) gets a valuable 1.5kgs off the back and dropping to a trip that he
has had good success over makes him a big player for top honors. FORCHESTER (2) finished just
in front of the top selection last time out and despite being slightly worse off at the weights, he
should go very well. SISTER OF LOVE (3) comes from the same form as the top two and with a bit
of luck is in running, she should be right on top of them. SCARFACE (2) doesn’t win too often but
is a consistent sort that deserves respect.

Her form leading into this has been solid and there is every reason to believe that it could be her
