latter on April 26th. Can go one better

the drop back in trip
3. LANZELOT GOLD – Showed talent when 4th at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on the sole start on
April 19th. One to keep safe
4. GOLDEN ROCK – 5th last time over 1600m at Saint-Cloud on April 1st. Can improve and looks
one for handicap’s down the line
5. GLANCE OF STARS – 2nd last time at Lyon Parilly over 1600m on April 20th on his second
run. Needs a few to falter
6. CORMORAN – Unplaced last time, 2nd before that on debut at Strasbourg over 2000m on
March 22nd. Others preferred
7. AWI – Fair 4th on the sole run to date at Le Mans over 1400m on April 23rd. Can improve and
be involved
8. PAPARAZZO – Newcomer by Waldgeist, will likely need this opening run for some experience.

Summary: After two recent second-placed runs at this track, AGUALETO (1) has solid claims for
getting off the mark in this event. SAIDI EL FAL (2) did well when third at this track last time and
tries a drop-in trip to bring out more progress. AWI (7) is one to watch in the betting after a
promising debut when fourth at Le Mans in late April. LANZELOT GOLD (3) looks the best of the
remainder.

Summary: CLASSIC FLOWER (6) ran an excellent race when second in the Prix Sigy (Gr.3) last
time at this track in mid-April and can go one better this time. Back in fifth in that race was
BALSAM (4) who can once again be involved at the business end, as can SYMMETRIC POWER
(3) who was third in that race and has a few lengths to find with the selection. GRAND SCOOP
(1) has only had the two runs and has plenty more to come and ought to be thereabouts.

Summary: RADETSKY MARSCH (8) won in the UK when trained by Archie Watson and has
shown promise in three runs on French soil so far, with a decent fourth last time at Loudeac in
late April. This looks like a good race for him. INATTENDU (1) likes this track and surface and ran
well last time when fifth earlier this month. POLMINHAC (3) could be one to side with each way.
FEARLESS CHEETAH (10) is also one worth a mention.

Summary: YOUSFIYA (1) looked in need of the race when showing promise on debut at
Parislongchamp in early April. She will be more focused this time and can get off the mark.
ORLHENA (10) could be the one to chase her home. She has been off the track since August but
will be ready to perform. AVENUE MONTAIGNE (8) has shown decent ability and ran well last
time when third in mid-April at Parislongchamp. FELICIA (5) heads the remainder.

Chantilly on April 29th when unplaced. Of limited ability recently
17. EMPIRIC – 4th last time over 1600m at this track on April 29th in a Class 4 handicap. Gets in
at the right end of the handicap
Summary: In a race where a lot of the runners are of limited ability or out of form, it is best to look
at one that has run well of late. POLIVATE (4) was a decent second at Dax last time and fits the
bill. She is the tentative selection over RUBIS GOLD (7) who was a pleasing third at this track
when last seen 19 days ago. EMPIRIC (17) is at the foot of the weights and is one to consider
each way. GRACEHILL (10) makes up the shortlist.

13. PERSIAN JEWEL – Unplaced last time, won before that over 1600m at Dundalk (IRE) on
November 3rd. Hard to fancy
Summary: ANDROMEDE (7) could be the best option in this event. She was a good third in a
Listed race last time on April 14th at Parislongcamp. Her main threat could be HARPER (6) who
was a good second in a competitive Class 2 race on April 25th at Parislongchamp when last seen
ahead of a few of today’s rivals. ANTE ALIOS (3) was one of them and was fourth in that race
when he lost his unbeaten record. Lightly raced he can improve. VENTS CONTRAIRES (2) is
also one to consider.
