handicap on April 9th. Ought to be in the top three
14. ASHIKTASH – 2nd last time over 1600m at Lyon Parilly on April 20th in a Class 3 handicap.
Needs to be more reliable
15. PANDIA SELENE – 3rd last time on April 14th in a Class 2 handicap over 1600m. Is at the

Summary: In an open-looking handicap, it may pay to side with the top-weight OPALUS ROAD
(1) who was a good third when last seen in a Class 2 handicap at this venue. MOUTARDE (13)
could be the one that gives the selection the most to do if emulating a good second-placed run
two runs ago. COSMO BEAU (12) looks like the one to be with from an each-way perspective.
BOSIOH (4) warrants respect and heads the remainder.

Summary: VIVRE LIBRE (2) has shown promise in all three runs so far and can be too smart for
his rivals in a drop in class. GALLIUS (1) won a claimer at Fontainebleau last time and looks like
the main threat to the selection. SHOPTILYOUDROP (6) has a live each-way chance and has
shown some talent in two outings in better-class races. FISFUL OF LOVE (7) looks like the best
of the remainder.

4. ROYAL SOPRANO – Fair 4th last time over 2450m at Cluny on April 13th. Has work to do to
get involved
5. JETLINER – 5th on the sole run so far over 2100m in a maiden on April 7th. Should improve
and has an outside place chance
6. COETZEE – Decent effort when 4th on his debut at Fontainebleau over 2200m on April 13th.
Leading chance with normal improvement
7. OLD LION CEN – 5th last time over 2000m at Fontainebleau on April 30th on his third run.
Might be better suited in a handicap
8. BALI – 6th last time over 2200m at Fontainebleau on April 13th in a maiden. Merits
consideration
Summary: COETZEE (6) ran with lots of promise when fourth on his debut at Fontainebleau last
month. He can improve and looks like the one to beat. SPINELLO (3) showed nice progress
when second last time after running green on his debut. He is the main danger to the selection.
SHIRBAWI (2) warrants respect and is one for the each-way backers to look at. BALI (8) is also
one to be considered and can not be ruled out.

3. VILLA DES ARTS – Unplaced last time, 4th before that at Pau over 2000m on February 14th.

Summary: This could go to the nicely bred newcomer LAVENDER LACE (9) who is from a
shrewd trainer who can ready one to strike on debut. MOSAIQUE (7) ran a solid race last time
when second at Saint-Cloud and is the one that has shown the best form of those who have
raced. MOOSBEERE (6) was back in third in the Saint-Cloud race and is one to look at in all of
the place angles. ZARAKIVA (1) looks the best of the remainder.

R5 – PRIX DE GRIGNON – 2100m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Claiming – Flat – EUR € 19,000
1. ALTHURAYA – Disappointing last two runs and was 7th last time out in a handicap at LyonParilly over 2000m on 8 May. Has won a claimer before and can bounce back to score
2. ORFEO – Has struggled so far and was 9th last time out in a handicap at Chantilly over 2000m
on 29 April. Others are much preferred
3. ADORABLE – Yet to win a race but was not disgraced when 5th last time out in a handicap at
Chantilly over 2400m on 2 May. Has run well in claimer before and has a winning chance
4. VIANETA – Showed soem improvement in her second start when 6th in a Conditions race at
Châteaubriant over 1950m on 27 April. Should fight out the finish dropped in class
5. BREEZE D’AUTEUIL – Showed slight improvement when fourth last time out in a claimer at
Nancy over 2500m on 5 May. Could play a minor role
6. SHILLING – Has struggled in two starts and was 9th last time out in a Conditions race at Le Pin
au Haras over 2100m on 21 April. Can improve dropped in division
7. BOCKEL – A three-year-old gelding by Dabirsim out of Banville who is making his debut.

8. JULIE ANAIS – Showed improvement when runner-up last time out in a claimer at Durtal over
2300m on 21 April. Can contest the finish again
Summary: ALTHURAYA (1) does appear to be better than the last two runs suggest and she has
won in this division before. VIANETA (4) showed improvement in her second start and could do
even better dropped into a claimer this time around. ADORABLE (3) has run well in this division
before and was certainly not disgraced last time out. JULIE ANAIS (8) is improving and is another
to consider.
