RESURGENCE makes his local debut and is capable of improvement. SWISS WALT and CONNECTION are both holding form and can get into the places once again. FIVE STAR MAGIC has been good up the straight without winning but could be right there at the finish once again. CATCH YOUR BREATH tries sprinting again and could improve after a change of trainer.

Race Summary: PROJECT RUNWAY was a bitter disappointment but ran so well on debut that perhaps she can be given another chance. BRETTY needs to do more to win this race but could sneak some money. FANTASY GIRL showed improvement last time out and could do even better this time. MISS PREDATOR was not too far behind rival PROJECT RUNWAY when they met on debut and should be right there at the finish. THREAD OF LIFE showed improvement last time and could also contest the finish.

MR BODACIOUS won over this course and distance a few runs back but has disappointed twice since then. AQUILA GOLD is improving and won well recently so deserves respect. RAPTOR ISLAND is consistent and is not out of it. ANUSCHKA’S WORLD has been promising so far and would not be a surprise winner. JOYOUS JUBILEE is consistent and could also be involved with the finish.

STATE OF MIND is battling to win but could earn some more money. SKY VELOCITY will like it back on the turf and has a place chance. LADY ZULTANITE is doing well for her trainer and should be right there in the mix of things once again. MAIDEN’S COVE and SOFT TOUCH are also capable of contesting the finish.

CHERRY ANO has not been reliable of late but when in the mood is capable of winning. BUSH TRACKER is better than his last run would suggest and could contest the finish. GLOBAL ALLY has been very consistent since joining Alan Greeff and should be involved with the finish yet again. FATEFUL DAY and KINGDOM OF HEAVEN are out at the weights but can prove much better than rated.

Race Summary: A cracking race. KINGDUNDEE impressed on debut and was not disgraced last time. He can bounce back to score. Stable companion FAMILY LAW also impressed on debut and performed well enough last time out so can contest the finish again. SILVONIAN and filly HAPPY HOLLY are two other Gavin Smith-trained runners and neither would be surprise winners. HAVANA GREY is improving and could enjoy being on the grass for the first time.

Race Summary: A disappointing field for one of the main races in the Eastern Cape season. FAIRY KNIGHT has been very good this year and was a comfortable winner for the fourth time in a row last time out. He is not really bred for this type of distance but his trainer must know something. His stable, companion, filly JOY AND PEACE, has been showing her best form lately and looks likely to relish the longer distance. AMAZING COLOURS and PUBLIC BENEFIT chased home JOY AND PEACE last time out and should not be too far away once again.

OFFICIAL SECRET has been very good of late and can fight out the finish over a course and distance that suits. JAEGER MOON has not won for some time but is capable of winning a race like this. SAY YES proved just in need of her local debut and should do better this time. DOWSER steps up in distance and could enjoy it. CENTRAL CITY is in good form and clearly not out of it. MAGICAL MIDLANDS, PAINITE and STORM COMMANDER are all capable of getting involved in the finish.

EUROPEAN SUMMER and PRINCESS DEB’S have done well in better fields than this so could contest the finish. CABARET was impressive on the Polytrack last time out and deserves respect. SYMBOL OF LOVE is not reliable but can score again. RED SASH ran well on local debut and could have more to offer. DREAM SCAPE won well the last time she was on the grass and could be worth including in all permutations. PRINCESS HANNAH has shown promise and is another who could be better than her rating.
