As maintenance work continues on the main track, the inner track (Track Two) will be utilized for the second week in a row, hosting a ten-race card commencing at 12:30 pm.

The program showcases a couple of up-and-coming types aiming to maintain their unbeaten records.

In Races 6 and 7 respectively, ANTIPODEAN and CAPTAIN TWENTYTWO have displayed faultless performances in their individual efforts and appear poised to extend their winning streaks this Sunday.

In Race 6, ANTIPODEAN (9) seems well-weighted with 55kg in the Class 3 event and should defy the class rise with inform jockey Bernardo Pinheiro retaining the ride.

ANTIPODEAN has made rapid progress through the grades since his maiden win on February 12th and is aiming for his fourth win in a row. The gelding will be stepping up following successive Class 4 wins and also faces a distance beyond 1100m for the first time.

ANTIPODEAN will encounter his toughest test to date but gives the impression that he will be competitive against higher-grade opponents in future starts.

ANSU (4), third-up, is capable of upsetting the likely favourite, having proven himself at this level.

KASSAB (3), aiming to break his Malaysian duck soon, showed promise with a 3rd place over 1020m last Sunday.

TORNADO PEGASUS (7), a last-start Class 4 winner, moves up in grade and is expected to break through at this level eventually, while EMPEROR TAI ZONG (2) possesses gate speed and will be working forward after the barrier rise.

Race 6 Selections: (9) ANTIPODEAN, (4) ANSU, (3) KASSAB, (7) TORNADO PEGASUS

In Race 7, CAPTAIN TWENTY TWO (3) has appeared unthreatened in his two Malaysian victories, making the winning hat trick attainable in the 1020m Class 4A contest.

Both wins were recorded on the inner track, and the 4-year-old New Zealand-bred performer cruised to the line in a trial win here on Tuesday.

The main threat is undoubtedly top weight PACIFIC RIVER (1), who finished a half-length 2nd behind talented 3-year-old Antipodean on his Malaysian debut.

SIMLONG BEACH (10), a Track Two specialist, led throughout here last week but may face early pressure.

THE CROWN JEWEL (8) returned to form last start, while SURE WILL DO (2) has experienced a drop in performance but could improve on the class downgrade.
