GLOBAL SCENE and THREAD OF LIFE were not beaten far on debut and can get involved in mix.

She is a reserve runner at present but can bounce back and score if getting into the race. REUNION HOTSPOT was not beaten far on local debut and could have more to offer this time. BYTHELITEOFTHEMOON takes a hard ride but can also get involved with the finish again.

Race Summary: A very open-looking first leg of the Pick 6 and we might have to go as wide as possible to survive. PETTEIA proved a disappointment in the Western Cape in the last two runs but has a winning chance in a new yard. RUN FOR ME has been unlucky not to win by now and deserves respect once again. WAR SWORD lacks a strong finish but could earn some money. CAPTAIN EFFICIENT and SWISS WALT are both battling to get out of the maiden ranks but are also not out of it in a weak race like this. COLONEL GREEN makes his local debut and would not be a surprise winner. AQUILA GOLD is improving and could also contest the finish.

MEETATTHEWINDSOR is unreliable but is also capable of winning in this division. PEDRO and GODFATHER are two others that can be included in larger permitations.

GIMME’S LASSIE was caught too far back last time out and could get a lot closer this time around. GOLDEN PACIFIC always gives of her best and should be there at the finish once again. ANCIENT EPIC should improve on her local debut and could earn some money. PASSCHENDAELE won well last time out and is talented, so not out of it either.

Race Summary: An impressive field of juvenile winners. GOLDEN RULE had an unsuccessful attempt at scoring on debut in the Western Cape but was not disgraced that day. He was an impressive winner on local debut and can follow up. Trainer Gavin Smith has a decent hand with four of the nine runners carded. Only that wise trainer will know which is the right one. FAMILY LAW quickened well on debut to beat stable companion SILVONIAN and SILVONIAN has ability. GLOBAL STATE is improving and won well last time out. KINGDUNDEE beat winners on his debut so could be anything. SPLICETHEMAINBRACE is unbeaten in three starts and deserves the utmost respect.

POMPEI WARNING has been fair on the Polytrack of late and is even better on the turf so should contest the finish. GLASS SHOES is speedy and can earn some money. GREAT MELODY ran well last time out in a stronger field than this. CAPTAIN TIK TOK is hat-trick-seeking and deserves respect. MASKED VIGILANTE was a disappointment in the Western Cape but could improve changing trainers. GEORGIE GEORGE was a surprise winner last time out and could earn some minor money.
