R1 – PRIX ATALANTE – 2800m (a2m) – TURF – Class 4 Claiming Handicap – Flat – EUR € 16,000

1. BLACK HAWK – Well tried this year and was 8th last time out in a Conditions race at Deauville
over 2500m on 10 April. Capable of better and is not out of it
2. ARGYRON – Only fair form of late and as 5th last time out in a handicap at Le Lion-d’Angers
over 2400m on 31 March. Capable of making the frame in this claimer
3. AKYO – Unreliable and was 5th last time out in a handicap at Nancy over 2500m on 8 April. Did
better over this track and trip in the penultimate run and is not out of it
4. MOONFLIGHT – Battling to regain best form and was 6th last time out in this division at Le
Croisé-Laroche over 2500m on 22 March. Capable of contesting the finish
5. ULTRASOUND – Disappointing last two runs in handicaps and was 11th last time out at SaintCloud over 2400m on 16 March. Did well in only claimer and can bounce back to score
6. NAISHAN – Consistent in this division and was runner-up last time out at Saint-Cloud over 2000m
on 5 April. Be right there at the finish
7. LOUNA CHOPE – Battling to regain best form and was 7th last time out in a Conditions race at
Argentan over 2500m on 11 April. Others are preferred

Summary: ULTRASOUND (5) has been disappointing in handicaps of late but did run well in this
division before and is capable of bouncing back to score. NAISHAN (6) is sure to be a serious
threat after two runner-up performances in claimers this year. MOONFLIGHT (4) is capable of
better so deserves respect. BLACK HAWK (1) is also not out of it on best form but has only been
modest of late.

1. FANTASTIC DEAL – Showed some improvement in her second starts when 6th last time out in
a Conditions race at Deauville over 1900m on 3 February. Could play a minor role trying the turf
2. ALTHURAYA – Probably was just in need of the run when 5th last time out in a Conditions race
at Fontainebleau over 2200m on 15 March. Big chance dropped to a claimer
3. LA CELESTIALE – Has not shown much in two starts and was tenth last time out in a Conditions
race at Pornichet-La Baule over 1700m on 17 March. Capable of improvement but others are
preferred
4. MOONWALKER – Yet to win a race and was 6th last time out in a handicap at Chantilly over
1900m on 28 March. Needs to do more to win this race
5. BATIAR – Did not show much when 11th on debut in a Conditions race at Deauville over 1900m
on 3 February. Capable of improvement trying the turf
6. KENZA NOVA – Showed what she is capable of when scoring in this division at Chantilly over
2200m on 4 February. Could follow up
7. EXCESSIVENESS – Unreliable and was 8th last time out in a claimer at Chantilly over 2100m
on 5 March. Won her penultimate start and is not out of it
8. SERSES – Well beaten in both starts and was 8th last time out in a claimer at Fontainebleau
over 1200m on 14 October. Returns from a break trying a much longer distance
9. IRINKA – Disappointing last run when 11th in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over this distance on 5
April. Could be the surprise package dropped to a claimer

Summary: ALTHURAYA (2) may have needed her last run when returning from a break and
dropped down to this division she does look the right one to be with. KENZA NOVA (6) won in this
division at first crack and should be right there at the finish once again. EXCESSIVENESS (7) is
unreliable but is capable of contesting the finish. IRINKA (9) could be the surprise package of the
race trying a claimer.

1. SANKA CHOP – Disappointing last run when 9th in a handicap at Marseille-Vivaix over 1500m
on 14 March. Better on the turf and should fight out the finish
2. PEANUT ROYALE – Showed some improvement when 5th last time out in a handicap at
Fontainebleau over this distance on 2 April. Unreliable but can score
3. MALLORCA SUN – Yet to win a race but was not disgraced when runner-up last time out in a
Conditions race at Lignières over 1600m on 31 March. Only modest form in handicaps. Place
chance
4. FASHIONED GIRL – Yet to win a race but was not disgraced when fourth last time out in a
handicap at Pornichet-La Baule over 1700m on 27 March. Consistent and should fight out the finish
5. WEEKEND WARRIOR – Unreliable and was 6th last time out in a handicap over this track and
trip on 19 March. Could play a minor role
6. PRINCE GEORGE – Yet to win a race but did run well when third last time out in a handicap over
this course and distance on 19 March. Be right there in the mix of things again
7. CHICAGO – May have needed the last run when 6th last time out in a handicap over this course
and distance on 19 March. Fitter this time and could be the surprise package of the race
8. KOBRA PEPPER – Has struggled all year and was tenth last time out in a handicap at SaintCloud over 1500m on 26 March. Others are much preferred
9. AKENATOR – Yet to win and was well beaten last time out in a handicap at Chantilly over 1600m
on 4 April. Needs to do more to win this race
10. BULSARA – Has not shown much so far and was 9th last time out in a Conditions race at this
course over 1800m on 10 March. Fitter this time but others are preferred

Summary: FASHIONED GIRL (4) has been kept to the PSF of late but has been just as good on
the turf and is capable of first win. PEANUT ROYALE (2) looked much improved last time out and
could do even better this time around. SANKA CHOP (1) us back on the grass and should be right
there at the finish. PRINCE GEORGE (6) ran well over this track and trip last time out and is clearly
not out of it.

R4 – PRIX DE RETHONDES – 1400m (a7f) – TURF – Class 3 Divided Handicap – Flat – EUR € 22,000

1. SO GOLD – On a long losing run but has been fair in Claimers of late and was fourth last time
out at Nancy over this distance on 4 April. More is needed to win this race
2. FERNANDO – Disappointing last run when 9th in a handicap at Fontainebleau over 2000m on 6
March. Better this distance and can bounce back to score
3. KAMINO – On a long losing run and was 5th last time out in a claimer at Nancy over this distance
on 4 April. More is needed to win this race
4. HORTENSIA BASC – Has lost her way of late on the PSF and was well beaten last time out in
a handicap over 1900m on 12 January. Can improve back on the turf and has a place chance
5. ROYALTIES – Holding his form and was third in a handicap over this course and distance last
time out on 19 March. Be right there at the finish once again
6. LOKI – Hat-trick seeking after two wins in Conditions races at Lignières over 1600m in March.
Tougher task in this line-up but can contest the finish
7. BUTTE ROUGE – Yet to win a race and was 8th last time out in a handicap over this course and
distance on 19 March. Needs to find a few lengths to win this race
8. CITY OF HOPE – Much improved of late and was runner-up last time out in a handicap at
Deauville over 1400m on 10 April. Prefers the PSF but is not out of it
9. NO TIME – Showed improvement back on the turf when 5th last time out in a handicap at
Strasbourg over this distance on 22 March. Capable of making the frame
10. INVERINATE – Unreliable and was fourth last time out in a claimer at Fontainebleau over 1600m
on 2 April. More is needed to beat these rivals

Summary: FERNANDO (2) did not show his best form last time out but does seem a lot better over
shorter and could be good enough to bounce back and beat these rivals. LOKI (6) has won his last
two starts nicely enough but has struggled before in handicaps. ROYALTIES (5) is holding form
and is capable of winning a handicap off this mark so deserves respect. CITY OF HOPE (8) as
been good on the PSF of late but has to prove it back on the grass.

1. HUNGRY HEART – Well beaten on his debut in a Conditions race at Saint-Cloud over 2000m
on 21 March. Capable of improvement but others are much preferred
2. SWEET DREAMS – Not disgraced when 7th on debut in a Conditions race at Chantilly over
1600m on 28 March. Capable of improvement but others are preferred
3. BURGUNDY REGAL – Returned from a break in fine form and was runner-up in a Conditions
race at Lyon-Parilly over 1600m on 17 March. Deserves respect
4. HAMLET’S NIGHT – Two fair runs so far and was fourth last time out in a Conditions race at
Chantilly over 1300m on 14 March. Tries the turf but should be right there at the finish
5. BELLANO – A bit of a disappointment when 5th last time out in a Conditions race at Deauville
over 1300m on 4 November. Could prefer the turf and is capable of making the frame
6. THUNDERHEART – May have needed his first run of the year when 6th last time out in a
Conditions race at Chantilly over 1300m on 14 March. Capable of improvement but others are
preferred
7. HAZBAIYA – A three-year-old filly by Caravaggio out of Hazaraba who is making her debut.

8. FORLONGE – Produced a very good debut when runner-up in a Conditions race at Deauville
over 1500m on 30 July. Can go one better if fit from a break
9. AQUAZZURA – Only found one better on her debut last year and was not disgraced when fourth
last time out in a Conditions race at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 12 March. Go close
10. BAKHILOVA – Showed some improvement when third last time out in a Claimer at
Fontainebleau over 1200m on 25 March. Needs to do more to win this race
11. BAIE D’HALONG – Did not show much when 12th on debut in a Conditions race at Chantilly
over 1600m on 28 March. Best watched for now
12. ARZUGA – Did not show much on debut when 9th in a Conditions race at Chantilly over 1300m
on 14 March. Capable of improvement trying the turf but others are much preferred
13. AERODYNAMIC – A three-year-old colt by Mr Owen out of Umneeyatee who is making his

14. TRENO – A three-year-old colt by Ross out of Travelcard who is making his debut. Watch the

15. PLATINE – A three-year-old filly by Intello out of Gallery’s Platine who is making her debut.

Summary: FORLONGE (8) produced a very nice debut last year and if fit from a break he should
go one better this time. HAMLET’S NIGHT (4) has been fair on the PSF so far but is fit and should
make vast improvement stepped onto the turf this time around. AQUAZZURA (9) just needed the
last run and will strip fitter and be a threat this time. BURGUNDY REGAL (3) showed improvement
after the break and is not out of it.

1. LORD SPIRIT – Disappointing form of late and was 9th last time out in a handicap at Chantilly
over 2700m on 16 February. More is needed to win this race
2. CORAL SLIPPER – Unreliable but did win a handicap last time out at Nancy over this distance
on 4 April. Carries a 3kg penalty for that win but is not out of it
3. GOT FROST – Broke a very long losing run when scoring a handicap over this course and
distance last time out on 29 March. Carries a 2kg penalty but can follow up
4. AFTERGLOW – Yet to win a race and was 7th last time out in a handicap at Nancy over this
distance on 4 April. Capable of playing a minor role
5. COLE CHOP – On a very long losing run but did run well when fourth last time out in a handicap
over this track and trip on 29 March. Can do even better this time around
6. BECH RIVER – Has lost his way and was tenth last time out in a handicap at Chantilly over
1600m on 4 April. Others are much preferred
7. ONCLE FERNAND – Kept to the PSF of late and was 8th last time out in a handicap at Chantilly
over 1900m on 28 March. Could play a minor role returning to the turf
8. MA BEREZINA – Yet to win a race and was well beaten last time out in a handicap at SaintCloud over 2400m on 5 April. Needs to find a few lengths to win
9. LADY VALOU – Showed vast improvement when runner-up last time out in a handicap over this
course and distance on 29 March. Be right there at the finish once again
10. TAAL – Disappointing form of late and was 7th last time out in a handicap at Deauville over
1900m on 12 January. Might sneap a minor place back on the grass
11. JARITE FLEURY – Has reached 41 starts without a win and was fourth last time out at
Montluçon – Néris-les-Bains over 2300m on 1 April. Others are preferred
12. VINGTCOEURS – Unreliable but was not disgraced when third last time out in a handicap at
Le Lion-d’Angers over 2400m on 31 March. Capable of contesting the finish
13. JAZZMAN FLEURY – Has not won after 40 attempts and was 8th last time out in a chase at
Montluçon – Néris-les-Bains over 3500m on 1 April. Unlikely to win

Summary: GOT FROST (3) won a weak race over this course and distance last month and this
does not appear any stronger so has every chance of following up carrying a penalty. COLE CHOP
(5) and LADY VALOU (9) were behind the selection that day and both are weighted to be serious
dangers to the choice. CORAL SLIPPER (2) picked a 3kg penalty for her latest win but is clearly
not out of it.

3. SILVER SCHNOK – Unreliable but did run well when runner-up last time out in a handicap over
this track and trip on 29 March. Can go one better this time
4. STEPASIDE BELL – Disappointing form this year and was 7th last time out in a handicap at Le
Lion-d’Angers over 2400m on 31 March. Has run well at this course before and is not out of it
5. PARK OF DIAMOND – At the top of his game and was a winner last time out in a Conditions
race at this course over 220m on 6 April. Has struggled in handicaps but could follow up
6. LES EMBRUNS – Yet to win a race but did not run too badly when 6th last time out in a handicap
over this track and trip on 29 March. Capable of making the frame
7. ASLAN SENORA – Disappointing form of late and was 8th last time out in a handicap at Chantilly
over 1900m on 28 March. Capable of an upset on best form
8. PRINCEDESCHAMPS – Disappointing last run when tenth in a handicap over this course and
distance on 29 March. In good form before that and is not out of it
9. DETESNOUVELLES – Has really struggled in her last three starts and was well beaten last time
out in a handicap at Le Croisé-Laroche over 1800m on 22 March. Needs to find a few lengths to
win
10. ASPHODELE MIA – Clearly in need of the last run when 11th in a handicap over this course
and distance on 29 March. Has won on this course before and is not out of it
11. NOT SO SILLY – Has struggled this year and was well beaten last time out in a handicap at Le
Croisé-Laroche over 1800m on 22 March. Others are much preferred
12. LOVELY DOLLY – On a long losing run but was 6th last time out in a Conditions race at Hyeres
over 2500m on 1 April. More is needed to win this race
13. GRACE OF CLIFFS – Very unreliable and was well-beaten l last time out in a handicap at Le
Croisé-Laroche over 1800m on 22 March. Capable of earning some money when in the mood

Summary: PARK OF DIAMOND (5) has struggled when last seen in handicaps but has been good
of late, winning twice in his last three starts and sets the standard. SILVER SCHNOK (3) is
unreliable but did run well over this track and trip when back on the grass and deserves respect.
PRINCEDESCHAMPS (8) was a disappointment last time out but does seem better than that run
would appear. STEPASIDE BELL (4) has run well at this track before and is not out of it.

Summary: GAMECHANGER (4) is in good form and was third over this track and trip last time out.
He could be ready to break a long losing run. OPALINSKA (6) was runner-up the only time she
tried handicap company so would not be a surprise winner. CIVNYAN (12) is unreliable but is also
not out of it. ALPHA KING (5) is probably better on the PSF but does hold winning claims.
