14. CALAS – Fairly treated on his best form. A good 3rd two runs ago at Chantilly over 1500m on
January 24th in a Class 3 race. Can score at nice odds
15. CENTORINA – Unplaced on the last two runs, won before that at Chantilly over 1900m on
October 26th. Can make the frame at big odds
16. COSMO BEAU – Non Partant
Summary: It may be best to take a chance on CALAS (14) who tries a handicap for the second
time and is racing off a good weight. The top-weight MAGELLAN (1) could be the biggest threat as
he is usually involved at the business end and ran well at this track last year when second.
KHOCHENKO (10) is also one that tries hard and can not be ruled out of the frame. I’M A
BELIEVER (8) is one that can not be ignored and should have a say in proceedings.

3. ABSTRACT – Won her maiden on the PSF at Deauville over 1500m on her only start on
December 5th. Can improve and have a say
4. TAMFANA – Won the Group 3 Prix Miesque at Chantilly when last seen over 1400m on October
27th. Player
5. SHADY LADY – 2nd last time over 1400m in a Group 3 race at Chantilly on October 27th. Others
make more appeal
6. GREAT GENERATION – 2nd in a Group 3 race at Ayr (GBR) over 1200m when last seen on
September 23rd. Can not be ruled out
7. ALABAMA MOON – Unplaced in a Listed race over 1300m at Chantilly on March 8th, won a
Class 1 race before that in February on the PSF. Opposable
Summary: RAMATUELLE (2) can score on her return, she ended 2023 with a good second in the
Prix Morny (Gr.1) over 1200m in August and looks like the type to do well this year. Her main rival
could be TAMFANA (4) who scored in the Prix Miesque (Gr.3) on her last run in October, she will
be competitive. ABSTRACT (3) won her maiden on the PSF in December and will improve a lot for
that outing. ROMANTIC STYLE (1) travels from the UK, and this Godolphin-trained filly is sure to
be thereabouts.

Summary: GOODEVENINGMRBOND (1) won a handicap last time at Pornichet on the PSF and
can be competitive in this drop-in class. WELCOME CHARLY (3) is talented and won a maiden
two runs ago at Chantilly in late January. He looks like the main danger to the selection. CALON
LAN (2) is the each-way angle after a pleasing third in a Class 1 race last time. PRINCESS SHALAA
(6) ran with promise on debut and can not be ruled out of making the frame.

5. MEGARRY – 5th in a Class 1 race last time at Chantilly over 1400m on the PSF on March 28th.
Others make more sense
6. GENTLEMAN BEAUTY – Unplaced last time, won before that at Chantilly on September 28th
over 1100m. Might need this comeback run
7. DEVIL’S POINT – Nice 2nd in the Kameko Futurity Trophy (Gr.1) at Doncaster when last seen
on October 28th over 1600m. Competitive run expected
Summary: The drop back to 1400m should not be an issue with LAZZAT (3) as he has won all of
his three runs so far over 100m further. He looks like a progressive gelding and gets the vote over
the main danger DEVIL’S POINT (7) who was second in the Group 1 Kameko Futurity Trophy at
Doncaster (GBR) when last seen over 1600m on October 28th. SKYLIGHT BROCHARD (4) is
usually held up and ridden for luck. He can have a say if as effective back on turf. KERAN (1) is
also worth a mention.

Summary: LEJENDARIO (7) was a good third last time over 2150m in late March. He acts well on
the PSF and is the selection ahead of top-weight TENNESSEE JOHN (1) who ran a credible race
when fifth in mid-March at Compiegne over 1800m. POLMINHAC (13) is one for the each-way
backers to look at. He can be involved at the business end. SEA WINGS (10) makes up the shortlist.
