14th and a win before that in October. Player
8. SUNDAY FUDGE – Unplaced last time, 4th before that at Toulouse on November 26th over

15. BLACK CESS – Unplaced last time, 4th before that over 1400m in a Class 3 handicap on
October 13th at Compiegne. Opposable

Summary: NASCENT (1) looked the type to get better with some time and her form last year was
progressive all season. She was a good third when last seen in a Class 2 race in late October
and will be fit for her return run. KLEORA (2) will have no fitness worries and was a decent
second last time and looks like the main threat. TERREDEGUERRE (7) is one to include in all of
the place bet permutations. SASSICA (10) also warrants respect and can be involved at the
business end.

SELECTIONS
NASCENT (1) – KLEORA (2) – TERREDEGUERRE (7) – SASSICA (10)

R2 – PRIX DES SAULES – 1400m (a7f) – TURF – Class 3 Race – Flat – EUR € 20,000

involved
4. ALNOORY STAR – 6th last time in a maiden at Deauville over 1300m on January 12th. Can
make presence felt
5. RUMPLETEAZER – Has several unplaced runs of late, the latter over 1400m at Chantilly in a
Class 3 race on March 8th. Opposable
6. WAY TO MARBELLA – Credible 4th last time at Chantilly in a Class 3 race over 1400m on
March 8th. One to pay attention too
7. VITESSE – Two nice 3rd placed runs of late, the latter over 1500m in a Class 3 race on
February 22nd. Ready to win

Summary: In a weak race it may be best to side with VITESSE (7) after a pleasing third last time
over 1500m in late February, she will not get many better chances than this one. ALNOORY
STAR (4) could be the one to make her work hard for success. WAY TO MARBELLA (6) ran well
at Chantilly when fourth last time and is one to consider. GRAND ANGEL (3) was third last time
and heads the remainder.

SELECTIONS
VITESSE (7) – ALNOORY STAR (4) – WAY TO MARBELLA (6) – GRAND ANGEL (3)

making an impact
4. INVERINATE – Unplaced on the last two runs, 4th before that over 1500m at Mons-Ghlin (BEL)
on January 11th. Hard to fancy
5. AKAGERA – Unplaced last time, won three runs ago in a claimer on October 21st over 2000m.
Needs to bounce back from a poor recent run
6. KARELIA – 4th last time over 1500m at Chantilly in a Class 3 race on January 24th. Others
rate higher

Summary: ROUGEGARDE (1) likes this track having won here three times in the last four runs at
this venue. His latest win was in a handicap and this might be an easier option. TIGRR (2) is a
threat and looks like the main threat after scoring at Compiegne over 1800m in early March when
last seen. CELESTIN (3) is more than capable of winning this and warrants plenty of respect.
AKAGERA (5) is also worth considering.

SELECTIONS
ROUGEGARDE (1) – TIGRR (2) – CELESTIN (3) – AKAGERA (5)

R4 – PRIX DU BOIS DE LA COMMANDERIE – 2200m (a1m1/2) – TURF – Class 3 Race – Flat – EUR € 18,000

over 2500m in a Class 3 race. Hard to fancy

2300m. Player
4. MOWGLI – Unplaced on the last two runs in September, won before that at Craon on June

5. OPERA GIFT – Unplaced in good races on the last two runs, won before that over 3000m at
Fontainebleau on March 17th, 2023. Ought to be thereabouts
6. CENTRICAL – Has been unplaced of late in Listed and Group races, won a Class 1 over
2000m in June 2023 at Parislongchamp. Hard to ignore in drop-in class
7. KANESHYA – 6th last time in a Class 2 race at Chantilly on October 11th over 1900m. Others
look more likely
8. BALLING DE JUILLEY – Won last time in a maiden at Strasbourg over 2350m on November
11th. More required and is best watched for now
9. A MINARDIERE – 3rd two runs ago over 2100m at Marseille Borely on June 9th in a Class 1

handicap on September 3rd. Outside place chance
11. SHE’S COSMIC – 2nd last time over 1950m was on February 18th at Dortmund (DEU) when
last seen. Can make the frame

Summary: EQUINOXE (3) ran well when fourth at Tarbes last time and could be the best option
in this. A MINARDIERE (9) has a decent rating and ran credibly when third in a Class 1 race last
June two starts ago. She has had a break and will be fit enough to be competitive. OPERA GIFT
(5) won three runs ago in a Class 3 race and has been beaten in decent races twice since that
win. He can be on the premises. CENTRICAL (6) is capable of playing a lead role if back to his
best form.

SELECTIONS
EQUINOXE (3) – A MINARDIERE (9) – OPERA GIFT (5) – CENTRICAL (6)

21st of March. Third start back from a break and can get involved
2. MONTBARDOIS – Unreliable and was 5th in a Handicap at Lyon-La Soie over 2150m on the
3rd of August. Is fit and ready. Seldom far off them and can make the frame
3. VERT GALAND – Unplaced in a Conditions race at Clairefontaine-Deauville over 2400m on the
4t of August. Been on a break since August. Did make a good debut and if ready can be involved

10. PEAKYANA – Disappointing last run when 9th at Angouleme over 2200m on the 3rd of
March. Made a good debut in heavy ground and has scope to improve
11. QUEEN ZARA – Runner-up in a Conditions race at this track over 2200m on the 6th of March.
She performed well at its track and will prefer this distance
12. AIGRETTE – Unplaced in a Conditions hurdle race at its track over 3550m on the 12th of
March. Consistently in the frame over the staying distance in Handicaps
13. LE ROI DAVID – Unplaced in a Handicap at Auteuil over 3600m on the 3rd of March. Hard to
trust and best to pass by
14. AL NAJI – A 5-year-old gelding by Olympic Glory out of Spin who makes his debut. Watch the
betting as a guide

Summary: QUEEN ZARA (11) seems well-suited and should go close to winning. She should
make a bold bid. AIGRETTE (12) appears the main danger, although her last effort was over
hurdles. VERT GALAND (3) made a good debut and then disappointed in the next back in
August. If fit from a break he has to be considered. IDATEN (6) was also last seen August and if
ready can be involved with the finish
