Race Summary: Summary: ISIVIVANE (13) was well supported in the betting on his return from the Cape and won well. He can follow up although he has a tricky draw. HAVANA MOON (1) improved with every outing before running out a comfortable winner. The step up in trip will suit. DISCERNING (3) takes on males but raced in feature company last time out and although a well beaten fourth behind runaway winner Almond Sea her form before that was promising. GREAT PLAINS (10) raced green in his Cape debut and should come on lengths from that and is one to watch in the market.

DYNASTY’S LAST (6) disappointed last run over a mile and is back to a sprint which could see her make amends. SAFE AND SOUND (7) was very green on debut and although well beaten she looks capable of good improvement.

THE TEACHER (4) has got the thumbs up from his stable and is one to watch in the market.

KENNEDY (6) is holding form well and loves this distance. She is also lightly raced. VISION TO ACHIEVE (2) was not far back to much stronger last time out. Down in class with first time blinkers could see her home. RAPID FIRE (11) showed up well to much stronger last start although she did have a light weight. She has found form and is not without a prayer.

BANZAI PIPELINE (3) seems better on the poly but is never far back and has a strong chance in this company. Stable companion ETIQUETTE (1) has come to hand of late and is another must inclusion in all exotic bets.

Race Summary: Summary: The mare BELLA SICCOME (3) denied the handicapper last time out when getting the better of Cape Eagle but she is as game as they come and only got a three-pound penalty for that win. Paul Lafferty will leg up four-claiming apprentice Brevan Plaatjies and she is in line for the tenth win of her career. EL REY VIENE (2) has improved in blinkers an was out-paced late last run on the poly. He has a light weight here also with a claiming apprentice up and from a good draw should be in the firing line for Duncan Howells. Richard Fourie has deserted El Rey Viene to team up with his old boss Justin Snaith and GET IMPRESSED (1). The three-year-old has done well in feature company and is over his best trip. MASTER FUEGO (7) has won over course and distance although is recent form on the poly has been excellent. He is another for the shortlist.

He has a good draw and looks well weighted to finally get home. Stable companion GIAMBATTISTA (7) and Richard Fourie try for their fourth win in succession but the handicappers could have the last say as he went up five pounds for his last win. PHUTULICIOUS (5) got a high rating after his maiden win and gave weight to Giambattista in his handicap debut. He is now 2kg better off. IRON WILL (1) won his last two over course and distance and is another in with a strong chance.
