3. MADAOUA AA – Holding form well and was fourth last time out in a Conditions race at Tarbes over 2300m on 22 October. Clearly not out of it
4. BELLIE STAR AA – Yet to win but has been very consistent and was third last time out in a Conditions race at Tarbes over 2300m on 22 October. Should fight out the finish yet again
5. GAYABAN UP AA – Unreliable but was not disgraced when third last time out in a Conditions race at Tarbes over 2300m on 23 February. Might play a minor role
6. KALIS DE LA BRUNIE AA – Very consistent so far and was runner-up last time out in a Conditions race at Tarbes over 2300m on 22 October. Can go one better if fit from a break
Summary: Hard to rule out any of the 6 runners from winning. KALIS DE LA BRUNIE AA (6) only found one better on the day and had a few of these runners behind her last time out. Fitness will play a big part of the outcome as most of them are returning from a break and their fitness will need to be taken on trust. BELLIE STAR AA (4) and MADAOUA AA (3) are consistent and should not be too far away. ZAZU AA (1) has already won twice and will be a serious threat.

Summary: Once again not too many can safely be ruled out of winning in this small field. JAKARTA TROIS AA (4) has won her last two starts including over this track and trip last time out so could complete a hat-trick. JOBURG PONTADOUR AA (7) and JAFAR D’ESCAR AA (2) are both consistent and should be right there at the finish once again. EMERYS DE LARACHI AA (1) returns from a break but is not out of it.

8. PAQUES TOT – Disappointing last two runs and was well beaten last time out in a handicap at this course over 2000m on 25 October. Could be the surprise package returning from a break
Summary: FULL GAIN (2) is hard to trust but does appear to be the one to be with over a course and distance that suits. CHARM KING (1) has been struggling on the grass of late but does like this surface and can be a serious threat. VIS LE REVE (7) showed some improvement last time out and could have more to offer. PRINCE ANODIN (4) drops to a claimer and is clearly not out of it

5. VALINA – Three disappointing runs since winning over this track in December and was well beaten last time out in a handicap on 4 February. Others are preferred

Summary: A weak race and there are many with winning chances. LOVING STAR (12) has yet to taste winning success but is doing well and can go close. ANGEL CHARLY (3) is in good form and should be involved with the finish once again. ASSIER (1) is suited to this course and distance and deserves respect. LAUPER (4) could be better than some modest recent runs.
