Fairview, 01.03.2024, Race 1, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R72.000, 12:25GMT+2

Race Summary: CORAL BLAZE did not show her best last time out but her penultimate start was good enough to hold a winning chance in this line-up. BRETTY showed improvement in her second start and can contest the finish. EAT PREY LOVE ran on well on debut but did not run as well second time out. She should like this distance and can go close to winning. GOLD QUEST found betting support on debut and should be a lot smarter this time. MILLION REASONS is capable of improving on a disappointing second run and has a place chance. There are some newcomers so keep an eye on the betting.

Selections:

#4 Coral Blaze, #6 Eat Prey Love, #8 Gold Quest, #10 Million Reasons

Fairview, 01.03.2024, Race 2, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R70.000, 12:55GMT+2

Race Summary: PRINCESS HANNAH put in a pleasing debut and with improvement likely should be the one to beat. Stable companion STRING OF LIGHTS ran well on local debut and can go one better this time. VENETIAN MOONLIGHT lacks a strong finish but can contest the finish once again. SUNSET ROAR is holding her form and has a place chance. KYOKA makes her local debut after a change of trainer and could show vast improvement. MAD WORLD and LOVE SONG are two others to have changed trainers and will be making their local debuts, so can improve.

Selections:

#16 Princess Hannah, #1 String Of Lights, #2 Venetian Moonlight, #3 Sunset Roar

Fairview, 01.03.2024, Race 3, Gallops, 2000m, Turf, R75.500, 13:35GMT+2

Race Summary: ON THE GUEST LIST looked an unlucky loser over this course and distance last time and with luck in running can go one better and make amends for her connections. TRIP TO BARBERTON showed what she is capable of on her day and can fight out the finish once again. HEARTSEASE has been unreliable of late but can contest the finish. ST CLOUD did not show her best on the turf in her penultimate start but bounced back to win on the Polytrack last time out. LADY WRITER should also be involved with the finish once again.

Selections:

#5 On The Guest List, #6 Trip To Barberton, #4 Lady Writer, #2 St Cloud

Fairview, 01.03.2024, Race 4, Gallops, 1900m, Turf, R74.500, 14:10GMT+2

Race Summary: A highly competitive leg of the Pick 6 and the advice is to load up. AFRICA’S ROCK quickened nicely to win his latest start and could like this longer distance. CLIMATE CONTROL has been very disappointing of late but can win a race like this. REACH FORTHE STARS is in good form but does have to overcome a wide draw. ALADO’S PRIDE is in good form and deserves some respect. STORM COMMANDER will appreciate this distance and can bounce back to score. MILITARY MAN is back on the turf and could be the surprise package. LORD NELSON and KEEP THE FORT are two others worth considering.

Selections:

#2 Africa’s Rock, #4 Reach Forthe Stars, #5 Alado’s Pride, #7 Storm Commander

Fairview, 01.03.2024, Race 5, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R98.000, 14:45GMT+2

Race Summary: GLOBAL ALLY has done trainer Alan Greeff very proud since joining his yard and looks the right one for this race. The gelding only found one better in a stronger race last time and has Richard Fourie back in the irons. SLINGS AND ARROWS has not won for some time now but is in good heart and should fight out the finish once again. There was not much between PRINCE VIHAAN, THE MAURITIAN, TRANSACT and ALINGALONGA recently when they met last time and all of them are capable of earning some money.

Selections:

#2 Global Ally, #6 Slings And Arrows, #5 The Mauritian, #4 Prince Vihaan

Fairview, 01.03.2024, Race 6, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R74.500, 15:20GMT+2

Race Summary: Another competitive looking leg of the exotics and we may have to load up once again. SINGLE FILE looked an unlucky loser last time and that did look his best effort to date so may be improving. GUERRA is unreliable but it is hard not to put this Richard Fourie-ridden runner in all the exotics. PRINCE OF DENMARK showed vast improvement last time and could have more to offer. TIMBAVATI RIVER has been good for his current trainer and is clearly not out of it. CHARLIE MALONE and TRACK COMMANDER are two others who would not be surprise winners.

Selections:

#4 Single File, #7 Charlie Malone, #1 Guerra, #2 Prince Of Denmark

Fairview, 01.03.2024, Race 7, Gallops, 1600m, Turf, R200.000, 15:55GMT+2

Race Summary: A small field but it does look a decent race. LUNAR HALO is very good on her home track and got the job done last time out with a win, albeit a narrow one. She does seem better than that win and could run closer to her rating this time. SIDDELEY is coming into this race off two runner-up performances in the Western Cape. Trainer Justin Snaith still has a decent strike rate when raiding and she should fight out the finish. PUBLIC BENEFIT ran well when runner-up behind LUNAR HALO last time and should be right there at the finish once again. PASSCHENDAELE makes her local debut after a change of trainer and can earn some money.

Selections:

#1 Luna Halo, #2 Siddeley, #4 Public Benefit, #5 Passchendaele

Fairview, 01.03.2024, Race 8, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R78.500, 16:30GMT+2

Race Summary: A big field handicap and we may need to go very wide once again in looking for a winner. RED SASH is not reliable but on her best form could certainly win a race in this division. LADY MAJORCA is holding form and could contest the finish again. GLOBAL LADY quickened nicely to win on local debut and can follow up, but stable companion HOLLY’S VIEW will have Fourie aboard. HILDELITA is clearly better than her last run would suggest. DREAM SCAPE has a place chance if jumping on terms. SYMBOL OF LOVE, MISTY CLIFFS, DAWN OF GOLD and LADY RENEE are all in good shape and are not out of it.

Selections:

#3 Red Sash, #14 Misty Cliffs, #6 Hildelita, #1 Lady Majorca

Best Win: #5 ON THE GUEST LIST

Best Value Bet:

Best Longshot: #3 RED SASH
