2. JUDGELAND – Fair 3rd at Vichy over 2600m last time on August 16th. Fair form before that run.

debut on the flat in June over 2700m. Can not be discounted
4. JAWENS – Won narrowly on the only run to date over 2400m at Saint-Brieuc on May 26th. Can
come forward and be ready for this after time away
5. JAKOU DU BOULAY – Unplaced last time, 2nd before that on October 4th at Cholet in a
conditions race over 2950m. Place chance
6. JEU DE JAMBES – Unplaced over hurdles of late at Angers 8 days ago. Flat debut and makes
very limited appeal
7. JAKARTA DE FROM – Unplaced last time, won before that over 3000m on November 12th on
her debut. Lightly raced and has more to come
8. JUNGLESPEED MANCEL – Won last time at Morlaix over 2600m on April 2nd. Has had some
time off but should be ready for this return outing. Consider
9. JINJA – One run over hurdles when failing to complete the course 22 days ago at this track. Hard
to fancy
10. KICHE – 6th last time over 2900m at Durtal on December 17th in a maiden race. Looks
vulnerable
Summary: JAWENS (4) has had almost 9 months away from the racecourse after making a
winning debut over 2400m in May. He will be well-tuned for a bold show. JUDGELAND (2) has also
had a break after a third at Vichy in mid-August. She looks like the biggest danger. JAKARTA DE
FROM (7) was a winner two runs ago and looks like the best each-way option. JUNGLESPEED
MANCEL (8) won in April and has had some time away but looks best of the remainder.

can be on the premises
3. KIM KARALA – Good 2nd at Haras Du Pin last time over 2200m on October 8th in a maiden.
Can keep progressing and score
4. DIORA STREET – 4th at this track last time over 2950m in a Class 4 race 22 days ago. Ought
to be thereabouts
5. EDENYA – Unraced filly by Waltzertakt, stable runners tend to improve for a run or two. Monitor
the betting trends for clues
6. WAIT THE STORM – Fair 2nd at Pornichet over 3100m on February 9th when last seen. Lightly
raced and has a good bit more to come
7. JOFFRE L’ESPOIR – Unraced gelding by Bathyrhon, can be much wiser for this debut run.

8. BOREAL PEARL – Three unplaced runs over obstacles of late, 3rd before that in a Class 2
hurdle race in late May. Can make the frame on flat debut
9. AMMEVILLE – Newcomer by Beaumec De Houelle, is likely to improve for this outing. The betting
can be the best guide
10. PRICE OF THE MOON – Newcomer by Spanish Moon, respectable trainer and will be nicely
tuned for a good debut run
Summary: KIM KARALA (3) could be the best option in this maiden event. She was a decent
second last time and looks the type to keep improving. She can score from the well-bred
POMPANO (2), who had a spin over hurdles last time. WAIT THE STORM (6) also looks to be
improving and has a good bit more to come after a pleasing second at Pornichet earlier this month.
DIORA STREET (4) makes up the shortlist.

race. Looks of limited ability
3. ALGOT – Two unplaced runs so far, the latter over 1900m at Deauville on November 29th in a
maiden. Opposable
4. AFRIQUE ADIEU – Five unplaced runs so far, the latest over 2100m at Pornichet on January
27th. Makes limited appeal
5. BORGHAL – Fair 5th on only run to date over 1700m at Pornichet in early December. Can make
the frame with improvement expected
6. LEPANTO – 6th last time over 2100m at Chantilly in a claiming race on January 13th. Ought to
be on the premises
7. L’AMIRAL D’AINAY – 8th on his only run over 2000m at Angers on November 22nd. Will need
to improve a good deal to feature
8. DSCHINGIS HORUS – Newcomer by Dschingis Secret, the dam was unraced. From a shrewd
stable. The betting can guide but bold show likely
9. DUMONTEILDESAIGLES – Unraced by Mekhtaal, from a trainer who is not known for having
his debutant’s fully wound up for their opening run
10. MANY DREAMS – Newcomer by Martinborough, stable runners warrant respect on debut. The
betting market can be informative
11. LE NOTRE – Newcomer by Ectot, likely to improve for this debut run. The betting market can
be the best guide
12. ASTEROIDE DREAM – Newcomer by Kingfisher, should be a lot better for this opening run.
Any market support should be noted
13. SHILLING – Unraced gelding by Reliable Man, good trainer and has a taking profile. Prominent
run can be expected on debut
14. LE TEMPLIER – Unraced gelding by Walzetakt, has a nice profile and his trainer can ready a
debutante. The betting can be the best guide
Summary: The nicely bred DSCHINGIS HORUS (8) will be well prepared for a bold show on his
debut and could be the most likely winner. LE TEMPLIER (14) also looks good on paper and will
be nicely tuned for a good performance. VAZIRHAN (1) is from a good stable and was very green
at Lyon La Soie on his debut last month. A better run can be expected and he is one for the eachway backers to look at. MANY DREAMS (10) heads the remainder.

forward for a bold show on her debut

Summary: ANNA MANDARA (1) has shown enough to give her the vote in this maiden event. She
was a nice second at Pornichet in late January last time and should be too smart for her rivals.
MEISHO BONHEUR (5) ran with promise at Deauville last time when fifth and might be the biggest
threat to the selection. MAIA STAR (11) is nicely bred and should play a lead role on her first day
at school. LADYSHOW (8) has plenty of experience and could make the frame.

first-start winner who has sufficient means to fight for victory
Summary: ARROW EAGLE (3) won well on debut and has every chance of following up in this
small field. SHALOHA (6) did not do much wrong when scoring on debut and will make a fight of it
to the line once again. SAFWAN (1) won on debut and tackles a bit tougher this time but may well
be up to it. MAKE A WISH (5) is coming off a confidence-boosting win and deserves some respect
in a solid race.

January.Made a good return at Cagnes-sur-Mer on the PSF but is just as efficient on the grass

Summary: Another small field but we should get an exciting finish. NATIONAL SERVICE (1) is
coming off a solid enough win and can follow in what looks a tougher race. CAMBRONNE (3)
should be fitter this time and can fight out the finish. KNOCK ON (4) was not far off NATIONAL
SERVICE (1) when they met and is clearly not out of it. SHAHBANDAR (2) has been supplemented
for this race and deserves consideration.
