With improvement expected he should prove hard to beat. SERENDIPITOUS has run two fair races so far and should do even better this time. There are numerous runners making their debuts and the betting should be the best guide regarding their chances. BRAD BOWN is a Global View colt. GOLDEN LINK is a son of Gold Standard and MY BEST SHOT is a Fire Away colt.

Race Summary: A weak race and anything is possible. VENETIAN MOONLIGHT only tired late last time out over 1400m so could be the right one dropped to a 1200m this week. GLOBAL LADY makes her debut and is bred for further but would not be a surprise winner representing the Alan Greeff-Richard Fourie team. WINNING GRACE is unreliable but is obviously better than her last run would suggest and she can contest the finish. STRING OF LIGHTS makes her local debut and could show vast improvement. SUNSET ROAR and TUNE AGAIN need to do more to win but can earn some money.

PUERTO PLATA makes his local debut and is capable of contesting the finish.

Race Summary: OFFICIAL SECRET was an impressive winner last time out and the handicapper took the very unusual route of giving her a 14-point penalty. That will not affect her for this race but it will make things difficult for the five-year-old mare in handicaps in the future. Stable companion CRIMSON PRINCESS has ability and makes her local debut. MEDLERS TART has not been at her best of late but is course-and-distance suited. RARATONGA ROSE is clearly a lot better than her local debut showed and she could be the surprise package of the race. WILDEST DREAM should contest the finish.

Race Summary: A very competitive looking race and we can get an exciting finish. HAWK CIRCLE was a bit of a disappointment last time out, but I am willing to give him another chance. GUERRA is unreliable but did run well last time around and deserves respect. SINGLE FILE looks much improved of late and could be better than rated. THE CHARIOTEER showed his true ability with a good last run and is not out of it. CHARLIE MALONE is holding form and should be right there at the finish yet again. BRIDGERTON got his act together for a good win last time out and could have more to offer. RUSSIAN EMPIRE and ADMIRAL’S RANSOM are also capable of contesting the finish.

Jockey Richard Fourie is carded to ride UNITED EXPRESS and she has been very good of late and can score. GIDEON’S DAUGHTER impressed with a follow up last time out and deserves respect. IDABELLE does not always show her best side but can earn some money. FIRE GLOW is back on the turf and can earn some more money. FOR ALL WE KNOW is consistent and was a confident-boosting winner last time out. AMAZING COLOURS does not find it easy to win but can go close although she is badly drawn.

POMPEI WARNING has improved under trainer Gavin Smith and can contest the finish. FIERY DUKE looked a lucky winner last time out as he just caught GRADUATION TIME very late and the saddle had slipped on GRADUATION TIME. FOREST SPY’s merit rating keeps dropping and one of these days he will pop up.

Race Summary: A race to load up in all exotics. YOU WIN AGAIN may have just needed her local debut and could pop up to score. GLOBAL GODDESS is very consistent and clearly not out of it. MISTY CLIFFS ran well on local debut and should have more to offer. REGINA BELLISSIMA is clearly better than her last run would suggest. SI GIOCA has been kept to the Polytrack of late so could be better than rated on the turf. SYMBOL OF LOVE is holding form and is in with a winning chance. HOLLY’S VIEW has a place chance. LADY RENEE is probably better over 1000m but can earn some money. KILEIGH’S FATE and MOONSTRUCK are two others to be considered.
